Thats what happens to us, girls with very wide hips, when something has a small waist you have to pull it up or it wont zip, sometimes its kinda hard find clothes that match our hips, waist, and its long enough, usually its lose in our waist, or (Like in the video) its pretty short

this video is honestly so important. when i try on a clothing item thats "one size fits all" and its too small on me, i feel bad about my body. cause then i feel like it should be called "one size fits all except for madison", when in reality i'm average sized for a 5'2 fifteen year old. which basically means that "one size fits all" is either going to be too small or too big for most people, and will only fit maybe 15% of girls my age.

Crazyismyhometown it isn't easy but maintaining 250+ lbs to gaining more weight gradually isn't good. i know it's hard to lose weight for some people but at least try? they don't have to be fit or skinny. average - 20 lbs heavier than ideal weight is better than being obese
+Joshua Sinogaya I have PCOS. When you have that, losing weight is far more difficult than you can imagine. My hormones are out of whack where I produce too much testosterone, it can effect my sleep, and if things went downhill too fast I could have to undergo surgery that would effectively ensure that I'll never be able to have kids - and I'm not even 30. Quite a bit of it is genetic, and I got hit from both sides of my family. There will always be some people like me that won't be able to lose weight or keep it off. Unfortunately I have to deal with assholes (and no I'm not saying you are) who I know laugh me or say I'm not human because I'm obese, but had didn't have a choice. People don't realize how much that hurts and makes you hate yourself.

+kmitsmall If they made us a 1 then everyone else's size would have to go up too. People don't want to be told they're a bigger number than they are. I'm not sure why, but some people get really attached to the idea of being a certain number/size.
Also, they have 000 and 00 right before 0 as well. So even 0 itself isn't the smallest you can go. At least they don't use negative numbers, I guess.
+kmitsmall In England, your size 0 is our size 4 and our average is like a 12/14. So a 0 by British standards is really small. I mean like I get called skinny and I'm a 10 (American 6) and tbh I'm really not.

The reason why lara pulled up her skirt high was because of her hips if you look at her body she has a shorter torso tbh and her hips are higher and it looks like she has hip dips, we kind of have the same body type and I also do do it cause it hard to fit skirts/bottoms.

Everyone's saying 'not every woman is beautiful'. I don't think it's about looking great in everything you wear, being super skinny, being super chunky, it's about feeling comfortable with yourself an loving yourself for who you are. We shouldn't all have to be size 0 to be loved. I'm size 10-12 and I wouldn't even say I'm thin. It doesn't matter how you look, it matters who you are as a person and how you see yourself and others. Yes, you can get to a point where you're so obese it's unhealthy. But if a person is happy to be that obese, it's nobody else's place to tell them to lose weight or change themselves.

Your heart is in the right place, but obesity causes death and health complications. You can't be happily obese. Accepting yourself isn't about a certain weight. It's just about loving yourself regardless of your weight, but being lazy and purposefully neglecting your health when you have no medical condition holding you back from being a healthy weight is just a sad excuse. People like that need help. Being obese at all is unhealthy so please don't undermine how harmful it is to the body. Being body positive means being self-aware about your body too.

My mom is a bit overweight but she can't do anything about it because she already eats very healthily and she has fibromyalgia--an invisible disease that makes her hurt all the time. So she can't do vigorous exercise. People look at her and judge her just like you're talking about doing to obese people. Just leave them be unless it's someone you know and care about. Chances are they already feel crappy about themselves and even if they don't, one stranger telling them that they are unhealthy won't change their mind.

I know a person that was deprived of food often as a child and now he is overweight because his subconscious is still stuck in the past, worrying if he's going to be able to eat later. I'm just saying that you don't know if an overweight person has an illness just by looking at them. You have to know the person. Otherwise you're just judging them on what you see on the outside. That's what I mean by what I said before.
I love Kristin for mentioning how yes, the clothes market generally has more clothes options for skinny girls, but there are people such as myself who barely fit into a size 0 and struggle to find something that fits. Im really tall and a stick basically so finding something that will fit for more than a year is hard.
