      RoAcH812 that’s what I was saying to my husband when we were watching interviews or reading about it and we just looked at each other like not all movies about famous people or a tragic event are 💯 true, it’s gonna have things in it that aren’t true or never happened. I watched the movie and liked it for what it was and if anything it made us want to know more about it and hear from people who were there at the time. I was surprised I never knew about this because I like murder stories and controversial issues.

    Everyone says that the movie isn’t accurate the beginning of the movie literally says “based on Truth…lies…and what actually happened” if they kept the story 100% real it wouldn’t have been as good. Lots of stuff in that Movie was true, but that exaggerated the story to make it good of course. That’s how movie business is 😭

      @@ElectronicYouth from what i have heard it seems mostly lies and sever twists on truths. Varg was 19 without a real job at that time, in that area, they were just handing out credit cards lol. And Euro shaved his head to be a skinhead and thats why Varg stabbed him in it! The crap spreading as if all actually know and think thats how it was kills me. The coroner report states he shaved his head to be able to match up the knife wounds. And only 5 matched Vargs little pocket knife. Some others were from the knife Euro pulled and they matched Vargs wounds too. The rest was from broken glass. But the initial presumed claim stuck even after facts came to light. Public wanted a demon to blame all the church burning on and that was the prominent focus of the trial. And many others were being tried so deals and lies became plentiful. And the sheep love to graze and just eat everything up around them. Lazy clones wont even try to look for the truths. Just get spoon fed crap and ahit that out spreading it further. Ugh, so sick of it! Someone needs to tell a truer version. Again, from someone that is not all concerned with money and fame. Nothing to lose or gain... that is where the truths are

I understand he fills the gaps between truth and legend yet the material he provided has a huge dissonance with what really happened. Imagine somebody making a movie about you full of lies.. the paranoia guys nightmare haha. But hej.. dont worry.. its just hollywood, the music is transcendental and lets us see what our eyes cant. for starters, they got the wrong book to make a movie from this era. they casted most of the wrong people. the only goodish actors in this is Rory and Valter Skarsgård. the actors also got most of their resources from a guy who constantly hangs onto the fact that he did 4 drum sessions for Bathory. it was never Jonas’ story to tell, he wasn’t there. i don’t know why he acts like he was.

    • @moonlily1
      @moonlily1 4 года назад +8

      Well, firstly, that's an invalid point because the director of movies based on true events has never been a person who was directly involved in those events. If only the people who were there were entitled to make the film then no films would be made based on true stories. The film doesn't pretend to be accurate, stating right in the beginning it's "based on truth and lies" and most films based on true stories are just that- BASED on a true story, as opposed to BEING a true story. From Erin Brokovich to The Buddy Holly Story, every such film has been laden with "artistic liberty". Besides that, all the people who are involved give conflicting stories and opinions, so aside from what's provable by outer observation, talking to the persons themselves wouldn't give you any assurance that anything you saw was accurate. Kristian is a inconsistent and untrustworthy, people like Faust, Blackthorn and Necrobutcher can only offer their opinions and interpretations and the stories won't match up. And it's not as if they didn't have a chance to get their say; at least Kristian did, and he passed, so it's his own problem if he doesn't like what's said about him, not that there's much good to say.

      Black metal is a joke. It's just a bunch of privileged whiners with nothing to actually rebel against getting too into their fucking cosplay. I can respect from a technical point of view how difficult it is to play and can see some appeal in it's atmospheric quality, but the lifestyle is ridiculous bullshit, and the more seriously you take it, the sillier a human being you are. Kristian and Arseth were both ridiculous people and the reasons they ended up where they did are stupid. And Pelle, he was a person who was in serious need of mental help, and being involved in this scene was the worse thing for him, with people encouraging and cheering on his mental illness as cool instead of urging him to seek help.

    We're all totally buying it.
    It's painfully obvious that neither of you have ANY idea about the roles you played. Why even pretend at this point? You could do 2 hours of internet research and at least be able to hold something that resembles a conversation about the topic. All you hear in these interviews are hilariously vague answers with literally zero feeling or knowledge behind them.
    Also don't even try to argue that Akerlund was "in Bathory" because he was nothing more than a glorified session drummer on 2 demo compilation tracks that were recorded before the first album even came out.
