He was absolutely incredible in the film. He stole every scene he was in.
He looks completely different than he does in the movie
His nervousness around Saoirse worked so well for the character and their chemistry. Because you really believed his character was nervous in an adorable way around the woman he loves and hoping that she feels the same way.
I love the movie for many reasons, but Emory Cohen is the best. Tony is one of the sweetest male characters I've seen in a long time. Amazing job. :)
I love his honesty - he is not afraid to reveal his weaknesses of having meltdowns and what not.
Yes that's amazing of him, because being an actor he probably has a huge fanbase at least I hope so he was very good in killerman (that's the 1st movie I've seen him in) anyway back to what I was saying emmory being an actor and being vulnerable about his struggles could help a lot of people.
Watching Emory being interviewed and seeing how different he was as he developed the Tony character. Tony is sweet and Emory seems so intense.
Thanks for the post.
+Gary Bodwin - I was thinking the same thing....good actor because he had me fooled...LOL!
I agree. I'm so surprised to see how intense he is here wow
Very fine actor. I thought he contributed a lot to the film.
I guess this is what makes a great actor. He is so different from Tony, yet his performance was increadibly believable.
I just don't think he got enough recognition for his role in Brooklyn. He was absolutely outstanding.
If Saoirse was a flower, then he has to be the green leaves behind this beautiful flower. Profoundly and unconditionally lifting the character of Eilis and illuminating his own without over-killing
+Alvis Tsang Great analogy!
I think all the performances in this film were so beautifully nuanced and understated.
Loved him in Brooklyn and the OA. I can see Emory going very far in his career and possibly being the next big thing!
i honestly love Emory Cohen. Found him in the OA it was INCREDIBLEEEEE. I can't believe he's not on Instagram thoooo like I can't find him ANYWHERE
Yeah i agree, he was soooo good in the movie....so goodlooking too. reminds me of Jason Priestly of Beverly hills 90210
Great actor with such a romantic voice. He is will go far for sure.
Great job in this film and I am looking forward to seeing him in other projects.
Have you seen Killerman or Flashback? He is in those films. I haven't seen flashback but killerman was a good film.
@@smurfettetutorialchannel8248 I have not yet. I will have to check them out. I saw him in a few other films and series. He is a very good actor.
Great Movie! His acting was superb!! Loved his 🇮🇹🇺🇸accent replica💪💪💪
The poor guy must have done tons of interviews prior to this one. His eyes look so tired but he's still managing ;-;
I don't know if it's just me, but this guy looks like a younger Johnny Depp.
Actually..... a cross between young Johnny Depp and young Val Kilmer.
In the film he seems like having a wonderful James Dean quality, while in the interview he radiates a darker thing which again is not far from Dean's broodiness
He's so fucken handsome , omg .. Were the same age 😍
he's hot
Emory is a graet actor! My respects!
I've only seen Cohen in Detour, OA, and Place Beyond the Pines. I don't know much about him but, apart from the OA, I can definitely tell he blends too well his personal self and his characters. I'm not saying he's a thug or a criminal but there's nothing but raw edges on this guy. His pre-production meltdowns kinda give testimony to what I sense.
What meltdowns?
@@akosibail he talked about having meltdowns in the interview
Young Paul Newman
He somehow remindes me of brandon flynn
Really didn't love his character in the film! But he's a good actor for sure
+thisisrachels Why, he was sexy as hell in the film. His character made him look as hot as fuck.
Well someone ate too much italian food
🫢🫡
Why do he talk like that ? is it normal or does he doing drug .. anyway he was brilliant can't wait for his future project
This "actor" is so full of himself. Where's his humility?
+Tim Givens I don't hear any ego .. literally, the whole time he is talking about how he is really hard on himself, and has moments of vulnerability and truly admires his costars. What parts are you referring to?
What are u talking about??? U kidding right?? The guy stole the movie!! Soo good in it!!
He was terribly cheesy in this film. I think hes better not playing a character like this
+Joe Dunleavy Are you kidding. His character was incredible and so easy to fall for. He did a great job portraying that.
+Tara Z everyone has their own opinions.
Well then, you should take a few lessons from his cheesy character, because this is the kind of gentleman women love. He is literally the ideal man.
not really...
***** not really...
