I bought a c63s sedan a few months ago after heavily debating between the M3 Sedan. For anyone considering… I work at a German luxury car dealership meaning I’ve driven every German high performance car you can think of. My best friend has w204 c63 sedan in white that I absolutely love. Regardless of everything I just told you, the w205 C63s is the best car you can possibly buy. not only is it extremely comfortable with all the Mercedes luxury features and touches but it is everything you want out of an M3 plus a V8!!! Besides all the luxury of a Mercedes, it sounds like a bat out of hell and drifts like an M3 while maintaining the badassnes of an AMG. Lastly, AMG announced this year there will be no more V8’s so buy one while you can because they will only appreciate in value! Take it from someone who drives all these cars and every car you can imagine everday. If you are a car guy, the C63s sedan is YOUR car. trust me.
My buddies w204 def sounds a little better I’m not going to lie but the w205 handles so incredibly better
Got a C63S in January. Considered the RS5 (best interior of the bunch when optioned out), the Charger HC, and didn't bother with BMW as I can't get over the interiors (charger was shoddy as well). C63S blew the comp out of the water all things considered. An RS6 would have been cool but they're a bit too expensive in my area at the moment. All things considered, I have to agree. At this price point especially, the C63S is the best out there.

Me personally can give two shits about the “modern” features the amg has because for 1 the lighting disappointed me when the 2018 version only has three color options and it doesn’t light as the E class, 2nd the raw power that the supercharge Hemi has, is a smile that you can’t get rid of said by anyone who’s driven it
Love him or loathe him, Parker shines far above many youtube car reviewers because it is evident that he does his homework before talking, speaks clearly and thus seem to actually know what he’s talking about.

I have one of these. It is an absolutely amazing car. The sound is addictive. The whole car is addictive. Never had a BMW, but have had a Saab 93 Aero and a Audi RS4. In my opinion, it blows them both out of the water.

The new generation E63 AMG S would be a good choice since it's similar to an S Class (interior mostly) but similarly sized to a C Class.
Please continue to show quick clips of what you're discussing. Steering wheel, buttons, paddles, etc. It really adds to the experience and makes you feel like you're in the car. This and the R8 video did it well. It was one of my annoyances before. Keep it up!

Bens wins in: Prestige, Engine Sound, interior quality, Luxury. Where does the M3 win? Lap times. How many people take these cars to the track? Maybe 5% of buyers. So the Benz is superior in almost every way except lap time which only applies to a tiny portion of their customer base.

I don't get the BMW VS Mercedes mentality, I love Merc and Bmw, but the M3 / M4 competion package is more of a track and drivers car, this AMG is a really nice place to be If You like the S-class but You don't like to be driven. They are diffrent cars for a diffrent market and both are Great cars in There own right

bro ! There not for a different market. There both sport sedans with a lot of hp but the mercedes focuses a bit more on comfort. But the times were bmw means sporty and mercedes means luxury are definetly over.
MB > BMW. Especially nowadays. Also, take a look at who drives BMWs and who drives Benzs - thank goodness, I do not drive a BMW, they also all look the same. Yes, MB sort of does also, but MB is an easily more physically appealing ride.

Nathan Yano the sound is not as raw as the 6.2 but it is so much good! The 6.2 was just that mean sound you could hear 2 km away but the 4l turbo was that bit more refine. But it still puts to shame all the other cars in its category

F80 owners took an enormous L, c63s is superior for sure.

Didn't you say the m3/m4 was better than the c63? Also, it's technically called the Mercedes-AMG C63S.
Why would you compare the AMG S version against a non Comp M3 especially when looking at the HP difference? It is a great car though overall.
The M3 will always be better because of one simple thing: you can still get it with a manual. As long as the M3 is available with a manual it'll be a better driver's car than any AMG. I say that as somebody that likes both BMW and Mercedes.

I've always love the M3 more than the C63 and loved the S class more than the 7 series (like many people)...but Mercedes is killing it lately and I agree I think the c class is a better car.

Don't care what y'all say, the way Parker says C63 AMG S sounds the way it should be, not AMG C63 S. I know Mercedes changed this stupid nomenclature two years ago but it always sounds right when you put the model in front followed by AMG. I wish Mercedes never changed that nomenclature!!

Add 17 put the c63 on a dino, it'll do 503 hp

I'm kidding in way but i've heard so many times that Italians boost the hp on paper and germans hide the hp on paper.
You should do some research about hp/bhp! The hp/bhp is the max power the engine could develop at a certain RPM. Usually this is between 6-7k revs and by daily use you are not often in the 6-7k revs. So the real available hp/bhp and torque between 2-4k are the the ones who make a car powerfull. The Giulia has a V6 and the C63 a V8 with 1 liter more displacement. The real power band of the C63 is therefore much wider and as parker mentioned has also much power even at low RPM.
Rick2010100 The alfa has more power, get over it. Both cars feature different qualities. The merc is a better car over all in my opinion.
The Merc has more power - which means at a standing start the horses of the Merc are much earlier at work than the horses of the Alfa. This instant power eg catapults the Merc much faster from 0-60/100 than the Alfa who needs time to spin up the engine for max power. The only way to evade this is the race start option where the alfa spins up the engine before the start. But that is a bit ridicules by a normal start at eg a traffic light.
Franz Nelso The Alfa Romeo gets around 392whp on mustang dyno whilst the c63s gets around 426whp, so the Alfa loses much of its claimed power

Please do this, because the Alfa is almost never mentioned in these comments, and it shouldn't be overlooked. It's definitely a head-on contender.

1) Exhaust tips are fake, unlike the M3's.
2) The "424 horsepower" that the M3 has is more resembling the whp it has, as it has regularly dyno'd at 400 whp. Not so significantly less than a C63S.
3) BMW's infotainment system looks about 10x better than the iPad that's stuck on the C63. It flows beautifully and doesn't look like an afterthought like it does on the C class. It's absurd to say that the M3's infotainment screen doesn't look good.
4) A fully optioned M3 with the competition package, executive package, DCT, etc. (just no carbon ceramic brakes) costs 80k, about 12k less than the MSRP of a C63S. Fully loaded, a C63S without the brakes is 92k or so. Pretty significant price gap right there. The non S variant still comes out to 4-7k more depending on certain options when spec'd out.
All this being said, I love the C63S for what it is and want my wife to have one, but people should know that the C63S is a luxury car first, and a performance car second. I live for raw driving and fun track days, hence why I bought an M3. My wife wants more luxury than performance, hence why I want a C63S for her.

But, you can get the M3 in manual. No matter how much better this is statistically, you cant get it in manual and therefor I'd take the M3 any day like most enthusiasts would.

Yes the old c63 had the mighty 6.2 v8 and the m3 was more focused. i'll be talking about the c63 because i know it better. But the new amg still has one of the best v8 out there, implementing the turbos in the V for the first time. Finally having a awesome transmission makes it an excellent car.
But i see what you're trying to say. The old c63 was just that one car you would ear 2km away and would just pop a drift at any time.

Interior wise, i personally think they are absolutely sublime and different.
I like the aspect of creating 3 cars that look similar. It creats some kind of symbol and attachment to the brand. Just like every porsches for the last 40 years look the same.

sjaddicted at first, the benz has a biturbo v8. The ats-v has a twinturbo v6. So a smaller engine producing less power without a tune. Second, Tune them as much as you wish but the benz starts with a clear advantage.
Finally, it sounds amazing from factory.
Exactly why there's a CTS-V in my garage and not an ATS. V8 FTW Difference is the CTS-V is more of a competitor for the E-AMG cars and the M5.
