Makita have a newer Multitool out the DTM52. The body is redesigned and more ergonomic than the one in the video. I’m also told it’s a better faster cut. Only problem is, the older blades won’t fit it so you’d have to buy new. Saying that, I’m not a Milwaukee man, I’m Makita til I die. Not entirely convinced about Milwaukee. I think you’re probably right my friend. Being fair on the Makita, there’s at least four years of manufacturing between the two and technology moves quickly these days. The cutter oscillation difference isn’t a big enough difference, so the HO battery/motor helps massively. A body only Milwaukee is £120 ish but the older Makita BTM50 is only £80.
