    Great review thanks a lot!
Not really important but 18650 is the battery model she is basically a code. 18mm diameter, 65mm length, and 0 = cylindrical

Although it looks like a typical 18650 cell(as used in vapes like you say), this one isn't....its proprietary theyve put a posi terminal in the centre of the negi terminal on the bottom of the battery to suit their magnetic charger, and to make matters worse you can't purchase a replacement battery from Nebo in the UK, any other 18650 cells may work untill they're flat but you wont be able to charge them in the torch.

This doesn’t have a magnetic charger. Nebo sell replacement battery for this torch and there are numerous other manufacturers selling this battery.

I apologise, I have the Nebo Torchy 2k which has a magnetic charger on the base, but the batteries are the same and the torch can only charge batteries through the proprietary central posi on the negi end of the battery, and spare Nebo batteries cant be bought separately.

Yes I’ve used this torch (flashlight) exclusively for five weeks now. I’ve used it on its lowest setting mostly as it’s so bright but, occasionally, I use the maximum setting and have only just, today actually, had to recharge it. It’s been quite impressive. The magnetic base does pick up a lot of metallic dust and debris that needs cleaning off. I dropped the torch into a rain water drain full of water and it took me 20 mins to get it back out and it’s worked perfectly fine. The twist zoom is also working great so far but has picked up dust/lint. Hope this answers your question? I would definitely purchase this torch again 👍🏻

How’s the torch going now I’m thinking of buying one

It’s going great so far. I use it as a plumbing and heating engineer and it’s gets dropped, knocked and dropped in cold water storage tanks occasionally and it’s still working fine. If you set it to the low setting, this is still bright, it last ages on one charge. Takes approx a couple of hours and it’s fully charged from flat. Much easier than my LED lenser that required 4 AAA batts. I’d buy another on its performance so far. 👍🏻💪🏻

I used to have 1 of these davinci 1k torches 🔦 & although yes they're solidly built they take a long time to get to 100% charge from e.g. 30% also the lowest level setting is incredibly weak & it's something that the devs need to address I've now got the 2k version of this which is a bit physically bigger but is a much better option than this mainly because it's got a 🔋 powerbank option for recharging mobile phone while not at home I've also got the big Larry 2 which although good isn't as capable of the big Larry pro

I’ve had multiple LED torches over the years for work purposes so they get knocked about and dropped a lot. As far as the settings go, the lowest is fine unless you’re trying to illuminate the world. Mine is used for close work, lofts, under floors, cellars and inside boilers etc.
Charging isn’t a problem; I charge mine, when it’s showing red, either in my van whilst driving or at home once it’s not required. I’m really pleased with it so far. The 2000 is too big for me to slip into my work trousers so isn’t suitable.
Beats the LED Lenser’s I’ve had previously on performance and charging hands down. 👍🏻

@@usedandreviewedrealworldre4184 The 1 that I had took 12hrs to charge from out of the box & then again when it needed recharging I don't want to light up the world I just think that the brightness is incredibly weak on the lowest setting the davinci 2k is just barely 2 inches longer so for me it was an easy choice......the only reason why? I didn't get the 2k version 1st is because the shop didn't have any in stock they only had the 1k version I can only assume that my 1k davinci had problems with it's charging is because I was unlucky to get a faulty one out of a batch but seeing as I don't have it anymore it's no longer a problem

@@martinthrone7012 I’ve charged the 1000 just three times so far since I bought it. I use every day for work. Maybe yours was faulty, I wasn’t being sarcastic by the way. Glad you like the 2000. I tried it and it was just too heavy and bulky to be carrying in my pockets. If the brightest setting on the 1000 is doubled on the 2000 I can imagine it’s excellent for camping or walking the dog in dark areas. Thanks for the comment. 👍🏻
