      Yes, you have to insert it...it doesn't hurt. Its a soft silicone. very flexible. There's a little bit of a learning curve (at least there was for me) on how to insert it properly so you dont get any leaks. And of course you have to keep it clean with vaginal cleansers. I also use a mixture of ACV and water just bc I think it helps...Then you boil it in hot water after every period just to be safe. But I think it's worth it.

      Carmelita.88 Sadly for many women, diet and exercise alone do not cure cramps. I'm gonna try out a period cup soon though, I heard they're better for your health

      @prettienini 6 лет назад

      SOULSTARBELLYDANCER7 I’ve only tried diva cup. I do want to try some other ones to compare. The thinx panties I just brought and used and oddly, my period wasn’t as heavy as it is normally. I couldn’t get a full opinion on it yet. I do want to make a video review on it tho. What reusable pads do u use? I just brought some inexpensive ones from amazon that seem to work well

    • @SOULSTARBELLYDANCER7
      @SOULSTARBELLYDANCER7 6 лет назад +1

      Anisha Renee I use the sckoon cup sz 2 and meluna shorty XL. I may try one more. The first one was too long but good for heavier days and the 2nd I am just getting used to. Want one that fits well and can take heavy days. I use pads from etsy makers but my favorite are from pink lemonade. I want to try period panties. I saw some on the lunapads website.

    Question: (forgive me if you think it's silly especially since I don't know how to word it well) How do you maintain drinking a gallon of water a day or what times during the day do you drink? I'm trying to drink a gallon a day as well. I'm doing fine with it but some times I feel like Im chugging the water down rather than normally drinking it a good pace. Is chugging it down ok? Or is there a method where you should plan the times during the day?

      Valentina Worldwide lol that's beyond rare and doesnt happen if you're changing them on time. The problem is the chemicals in them which have the same links to most pads and panty liners as well. The chemicals used are linked to reproductive issuss and causes your period to be longer than it should be. 100 percent organic tampons are fine but I personally only use a menstraul cup or period pantiea.

      Exactly, I will never use this stuff again! Tampons can cause micro tears in the vaginal walls as well as the menstrual cup. Please visit www.shefeelsbetter.com to learn about the poisons in today's commercially sold pads/tampons. Switch to unscented, non bleached pads or try the naturally biodegradable pads called Cherish today! Please contact me for more information.

    This is probably a stupid question but, I have really bad cramps the first couple of days and I would like to take a bath in warm water. How do you do that though when you're on your period? Do you use tampons when you're taking baths? Also have you ever tried the Diva cup. I've heard a lot about it but I've never built up the courage to deal with the messiness of it.

    • @jaleenmorris9221
      @jaleenmorris9221 6 лет назад +7

      BeautyWithJara You can still take a bath usually for some people like me whenever I go In the water the blood stops but as soon as you come out all the blood comes out afterwards. And some women. Prefer using diva cup I honestly don't think it's for me but you could always try it.

    • @thecosmicbug
      @thecosmicbug 6 лет назад

      I use a cup, but I guess tampons are handy for emergencies and yes you can definitely use them in the bath. 😊

    • @Bossnursejara
      @Bossnursejara 6 лет назад

      Do you use tampons while in the tub? Or you just take the tampon out before you get in. I'm currently using pads but I'm thinking about switching to tampons because I feel so yucky now with the blood just staying on my skin like that for hours at a time.

    • @thecosmicbug
      @thecosmicbug 6 лет назад +1

      BeautyWithJara personally I take it out, some women leave it in. And I have been sensitive skin, I can not use pads! I also am prone to yeast infections so I try to be as gentle down there as much as possible. I be honest I only sit in a tub maybe 2 times a year. Other than that I just take showers.

    • @jasminevaliente96
      @jasminevaliente96 6 лет назад

      BeautyWithJara nah just bathe. One being submerged in water slows the blood flow and any that gets in the tub isnt harmful just might not be preferred by you. I never use a tampon while bathing and take baths all the time on my period.
