The part where you said try going back to your younger self and mentally embracing that traumatized child really touched my heart. I never realized I needed to do that. It wasn’t my fault. I spent years seeking an adult to embrace me and defend me, when I needed was to embrace myself. Thank you for that ❤️
This is actually where I am in my life right now. I think about my traumatizing childhood alot. I need to move on and reach into my inner self to start the healing process. I just don't know where to start though.

I really needed to hear this, at the end of the day , we have the power of choice. The way you react or respond is everything. I've been in the situation of waiting for someone to apologize etc.. but you have to be okay with the reality that you just may not ever get that apology you're waiting on, and be okay with it. Energy is so important I'm in the process of trying to shift my energy, bring balance back into my life, and it's not east at all, but it's sooo necessary

Thank you for this video. Your point of going back and being what you needed for your younger self really hit home. I recently had a light bulb moment where I realized I've been trying and wanting to be ENOUGH for other people but all I've needed all along was to be ENOUGH FOR MYSELF. That really helped me. This is right on time and really resonates with me I was just talking about how I was neglected as a child and how at the age of 40 a mother of 3 I’m seeing things so clearly and I’m trying to heal. I have to because I don’t want my children to be “adults “ that are hurting because of me I want to break the cycle and learn tools to help myself and that’s what I want for my children I know I can’t shield them from all the hurts in the world but I want them to have the tools and ability to stand in love and light ! This is so on point, India! I've been in a constant struggle with myself for years and even thought I had worked through all of my issues. Just last month I realized the attack I felt from others was the attack I felt from within myself. Once I realized that, I was able to change my mindset and become more aware of the things I allowed to control my thoughts. It's a continuous process, but I no longer feel the weight that I once felt, and even if I have certain thoughts, their affect on me doesn't last long. Protecting your space is sooooooo important, even if it's you that you have to protect it from. I wish you nothing but the best as you continue your journey :)
Many times we play the blame game in all aspects of life whether it's our jobs, our boss or anything that we think is attacking us instead of finding peace within our selves and looking at how we are acting in the situation. One thing I have learned about God you will stay in the same cycle until you finally past the test. As we grow in grace these test will come, but it is all about how we react to them. Thanks India. Thank you India for sharing your thoughts and heart. It was 20 years ago that I experienced a similar circumstance that had me tied up in knots wondering if I could even survive it all. The word sent to me was, "forgive!" Many think forgiveness means giving the offender a pass and skipping happily down the Yellow Brick Road after. Not so. Forgiveness means passing it all to God who can bear and handle the burdens of the hurt, guilt, anger, betrayal...It took me more than two years to come through that storm; but the first step was in the forgiving. The devil has no hold on your spirit when you allow God in your heart.

Girl I had to pause this video just to tell you THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I recently just became aware that I needed to be on a healing journey, and I literally just started at the beginning of this week. I have been deeply emotionally affected as a child and I’ve developed a tough shell because of it, and I’m at a point in my life where I really want to let go of all the past hurts & pains. I want to be as positive of a person that I sometimes portray on the outside, but inside I know that hasn’t been the case! I feel like you’re my big sister or something, cause you’re so encouraging! I recently learned how to be okay without getting the closure and the “I’m sorry.” Once I was able to let it go I felt so free. It took me a longgg time to get to this point, but I no longer have the bitterness inside of me. I couldn’t begin the healing process until I began to forgive those who hurt me even when they were unapologetic. Loved the video! ❤️

Ur situation sounds a lot like mine. I think my trigger was me having my daughter. I felt I had to protect her and was mad at those who didn’t protect me. I blamed a lot on others. But I’m 43 now and I’m still working on myself. Im better at trying to understand how people develop a certain character. Even if I don’t like their character, I except them and treat them accordingly. However that person and I can’t be friends. I journal a lot because I don’t trust people with very personal things. Thank you for sharing your story/journey! It was a little eerie listening to you because it is like you are speaking my life right now. I had to come to terms this past summer that somebody really close to me has been intentionally trying to sabotage me and my reputation. Finding these things out cut deep but it has sent me on a journey of healing, self love, and forgiveness! I am definitely still in the healing process and it has been rough emotionally at times but I am determined to take my power back and keep it. I really needed this. All those things you said it felt like you was directly talking to me. I have start telling myself that it happen and that I forgive myself even though it wasn’t my fault. A lot of my situations I try to repress it and ,since I have a hard time to sleep or be having weird dreams, I need to acknowledge it and move forward.
