What a difference 3 years can make! I hardly recognize Cori and Adam. Beej is Beej and Cam has become even more Cam. Paul is slowly being devoured by his magnificent beard.
Man I bought this game when I was young....This plus every damn expansion (Kellar's Keep, Witch King, Ogre Hoard, Wizards of Morcar) PLUS Advanced Hero Quest and the second release of Hero Quest that had the mercenaries. I also got all the Space Crusades. Great times.
+Scott John Harrison I assume that the Dark Souls board game will just be a deep box with 1000 primed mousetraps inside and the best cookie you've ever eaten at the bottom.
I love this game. First, you can't shoot through fellow heroes, it's too easy if you can. Second, you should shuffle the treasure deck at each draw (yes, I know the rules are ambiguous about this, but they SHOULD be shuffled unless you're playing with kids or first time gamers.) Love the homebrew regarding order of play. Fin
They should've had 300 gold at the beginning in total. I guess Alex wrote down the party gold on his sheet last episode, instead of what he was supposed to have (300 instead of 60)
My brother played this when he was growing up and the other day I was over at my parents house and stumbled upon a random card from the game that must have come from the expansion. It's a magic ring that gives a single extra use out of one spell. I feel Cam would enjoy that.
You need to have all expansions hero quest, there are six and a box set for creating your own quest. Furthermore play descent, Runebound, warhammer quest, Mordheim, warhammer RPG, and other games like this.
The word 'mentor' comes *from* a character named Mentor in the Odyssey. This is a sophisticated literary reference (that's a lie, but it's at least a reference to sophisticated literature) and mocking it every time you play Hero Quest just gets silly.
Great stuff but one thing... there too many healing potions being used. Players shouldn't be allowed to use potions once they've died to revive them. You should have to strategically use them while your still alive. The hero's are ending a game like this with near enough full health?
HeroQuest wasn't developed by Games Workshop, what are you talking about!!!? It was made by Milton Bradley. It says so right on the box. What the deuce, man?

Rewatching these has brought me so much joy and entertainment!

glad to see this back....Hero Quest is such a silly/hard game.
This is basically what I am expecting the Dark Souls Board Game to be Like.

ReynardWrecce it is on kickstarter right now. It is a bit more complex but it is similar.

Does anyone know where I can find Cori's archery videos? They sound cool.

And you can find it all on Ye Olde Inn for free since Milton Bradley doesn't exist any more ;)
Paul, give Cam a break and add in the shop items from expansions. Surely those have some items for the wizard?
expansion two adds the BIG stick
Did they every get round to playing any of the expansions?
The wizard was Morcar here in Ireland...Why is it Zargon over there?
sweet seeing Adam more
46:16 - i mean, this is how Thor flies..i'd allow it if they had sufficient strength!
Did I catch a Dresden Files reference in there?
"Linka, fuck Gaia with me!"
Equipment REALLY makes the difference... the ranged weapons are crazy strong
Yay it's back and it has Adam
Adam seems like he'd be such amazing fun to DM for
Seriously. His enthusiasm is amazing.

I'm impressed someone else but me knows this.
Krancor Lightfoot the Mad Elf, Fossicker Extraordinare!

Beej shoots the whole thing.
"Chinese WOR-sword"
DON'T FUCK WITH THE WIZARD.
Beej has chips, I want chips
DAMMIT LRR I WAS PLANNING ON SLEPING TONIGHT NOT WATCHING THIS :(

This game made no sense to me after the killing of the Chaos Warrior. I could not understand the motivations for anyone.
Why is Adam in everything now? boo
Am I the only one who thinks he has a Gilber Godfred-ish yell?
