Another beautiful rare gem in the DMB collection. There are so many great jams with these guys that so many people have never heard. Amazing that their unreleased material is so good.
Tears listening to, Roi. What a gift he was. I Love RaShawn & Jeff ,don’t get me wrong. Roi was special, once in a lifetime kind of special. I know it’s not a popular opinion but it’s impossible not to respect, Boyd, on this. Beautiful Music made by all.
"She said don't you ever lay your hands on me again boy Unless you mean it well I was always so kind intentions were good" wow what a verse. I play this song over and over...I get lost in this song.
+Aaron Felman Had the melody dave is playing stuck in my head all morning, and then i was like...oh yeah, Kind Intentions. Thankfully you are always here to save the day Jason with your amazing youtube posts. Cheers my friend!
One wonders why Dave never put out this song, or at least play it exclusively live, I would consider myself lucky to hear this song at a show - it's beautiful. (like most of his stuff is). Thanks for posting this, please never remove it, because the bootleg show of which you speak seems to be no longer available... maybe it's been too many years. Thank you again.
It was taped and circulated a long time ago. Fairly common among lossless SHN/FLAC DMB bootleg traders. Google search "dreamingtree DMB" to find a good site for legal bit torrent downloads of recorded DMB shows.
Not to be too much of a fanboy, but every artist must mature, grow and reinvent themselves or else they die artistically. Perhaps you liked Dave's songwriting when he was younger, but DMB and Dave have matured, changed and evolved. I love ALL of their music, and while I *do* agree DMB's early material was magical, their recent new albums have been good in their own way. Just my $0.02!
me and her and kind intentions are just magic . man, what I would give to get my old "till we dance away " compilation back..that compilation introduced me to so many great early songs ..if anyone knows what I'm reffering to and can help me. let's do a B&P like the old days
+Brian Rentschler oh ya?I'm off the boards these days, I'm not in the loop like I once was. but ya TWDA opened me up to so much from this band that many die hard fans still haven't heard .
Ok i've pretty much researched this as much as possible, and the lyrics posted online aren't right. I'd give anything to know what he's saying in the parts that are hard to understand. So beautiful.
i totally agree, some people just say that they've sold out or can't come back.. but they really do need to do different things (change their writing styles, producers, things like that). Stand up was definately my least favorite album to date but i can still appreciate it and I have very high hopes for the album coming out in April =)
This is new to me. Thanks, Jason for being the ultimate archivist for our beloved band.
This band can turn emotion into music with impossible delicacy... god I love them.

Wish I could see them playing this song live. It really is such a gem
Love this song. Instantly changes my mood every time I hear it (reflective, somber, and deep). Boyd & Roi are great on this.
The most beautiful, powerful song I have ever in my life heart. My God this is so beautiful!
Listening to this for the 6th time in a row. Surreal. Like a really, really good dream. Thanks so much for posting.
Yes me too 9 years later. Thought I heard everything, but wow!
Most beautiful thing I have ever heard.

Boy do I miss the B&P. Stay tuned! Future looks bright for TWDA 16 years later.
