In a similar situation as multiple other people I first heard of the captivating Crush song by the Dave Matthews Band around the 1999/2000 timeframe because I had purchased their music collection Before These Crowded Streets that contained this song. Then multiple years later around the 2008 timeframe, I started to enjoy this memorable song so much more because a local Norfolk Virginia radio station played the album version song quite a bit. Here I am still enjoying this song multiple years later. This live version of Crush stands on its own in a remarkable way.
I did vinyl pressings for the DMB concert series box sets and this was one of the songs I’d listen to in the QC booth after checking the lead ins for the record; I’d blast it so loud in the booth that the resonance from the subwoofer we had would reverberate through the needle on our SL1200
All their concerts are fantastic! But this concert…yeah, you’re probably right. Sadly, we’ll never hear Roi’s personality on the woodwinds again. They’ll likely never top this show.

No far from it, as a guy certain notes he plays get to me, it's an incredible feeling to be moved in that way.
COPY THOSE TEARS!!! 🥲🥲🥲💯
Carter Beauford taught me that a drum fill could be done on a hi hat cymbal. That statement speaks for his greatness on the drums.
Seeing Dave Matthews Band outdoors in NH this week! Can't wait!
Sweet! Dave Matthews doesn't get old. Does he?? His music is as classic as he himself is.
I hope he realizes just how influential & iconic his music is. It's methodically melodic in exactly all the right ways.
Have a blast! 😊🤙
@@janec.kowalczyk5824 Thank you! The show was fantastic. Long extended jams with Stefan on bass, Carter on Drums and Jeff Coffin on sax. Gave Dave a chance to rest his vocal chords LOL. They played about 3 hours straight through. Highly recommend!
@@Robin-xt7yo That's awesome, Robin!! Thanks for sharing that!
3 hours!? Wow! That's amazing! We've gotta give God some of the credit for allowing Dave to keep raising the ceiling with his incredibly undeniable voice year after year.
🙏😊
@@janec.kowalczyk5824 Ikr! Dave's voice stayed strong and emotive through the whole show. His guitar playing and the band's efforts were tops!
One of my absolute favorites! This is the song my husband and I danced to for our 1st dance at our wedding!
DMB FO LIFE
I’m glad Dave met his wife! ❤🫶🏼 otherwise I might not be hearing Dave’s band 💅🏼🤨
Dreams of people who believe the world is flat 🤣
We were lucky to meet Dave in Bentonville...he was very polite and friendly....we were awestruck in the moment...but he was gracious and glad we were there. Have to say I love this band and will travel all over the US to see them....40+ shows...never the same thing...love it.
Dave is the man! Crush is better than Crash to me! Jazzy love...get it boy! Yeah!
Dmb is the only band that sounds better live .. I rather listen and the live videos more than there studio ones
Thank you DMB and crew!!! Monday’s show @ Hollywood Bowl was definitely the BEST EVER!!! Orchestra and violinist were incredible, see u in NY 🎶🍷
These guys are just jamming out and loving every minute of it. Such great vibes and awesome concert! Wish I was there!
I did vinyl pressings for the DMB concert series box sets and this was one of the songs I’d listen to in the QC booth after checking the lead ins for the record; I’d blast it so loud in the booth that the resonance from the subwoofer we had would reverberate through the needle on our SL1200
The Solo's in this concert are absolutely amazing. I think this concert from Central Park was his best ever
All their concerts are fantastic! But this concert…yeah, you’re probably right. Sadly, we’ll never hear Roi’s personality on the woodwinds again. They’ll likely never top this show.
YES INDEED!!!
I forgot how much I love this band!
