Lyrics:
See I'm leaving
This warehouse frightens me
Has me tied up in knots
Can't rest for a moment
Soon I'm going I'm slipping slow away
Hoping to find something better
Than I've got inside of here
The warehouse slips away
Hey reckless mind
Don't throw away your playful beginnings
You and I will fumble around in the touches
And be sure to
Leave all the lights on
So we can see the black cat changing colors
And we can walk under ladders
And we can swim as the tide turns you around and around
Hey we have found
Becoming one in a million
Slip into the crowd
This question I found in a gap in the sidewalk
Keep all your sights on
Hey the black cat changing colors
And you can walk under ladders
And swim as the tide choose to turn you
And here I sit
Life goes on
End of tunnel, TV set
Spot in the middle
Static fade, statistical bit
And soon I'll fade away, I'll fade away
This I admit tastes so good
Hard to believe an end to it
Smell touch feel
How could this rhythm ever quit
Bags packed on a plane
Hopefully to heaven
Shut up I'm thinking
I had a clue now it's gone forever
Sitting over these bones
You can read in whatever you're needing to
Keep all your sights on
Yeah man the black cat changing colors
When it's not the colors that matter
But that they'll all fade away
This I admit
Seems so good
Hard to believe an end to it
Warehouse is bare
Nothing at all inside of it
The walls and halls have disappeared
They disappear
My love I love to stay here
My love I love to stay here
In a corner I was wondering
If a change would be better than this
And then I worry
Maybe things won't be better than they have been
Here in the warehouse
At the warehouse
How I love to stay here
At the warehouse
Every man and woman
Get alive
That's our blood down there
Seems poured from the hands of angels
But trickle into the ground
Leaves the warehouse bare and empty
And my heart's numbered beat
Still echo in this empty room
And fear wells in me
But nothing seems good enough to defend
So I am going away, I'm going away... - Видеоклипы
remember was at a DMB concert early 2000's and this dude just passed me a joint and it was awesome. like everyone was so happy and wanted to share in the moment
Every Dave show I’ve been to man 😎
I'm 59 years old. I've been playing the drums since I was 12 and I still aspire to the greatness that the Dave Matthews Band puts out.
I bet the feeling at a DMB concert is magical. 🤞 I'm hoping to see them this year.
If you don't listen to dmb still go to their concerts it's not just about the music it's about the experience
Well said. Went a week ago and it was the best concert I've ever seen.
Only a certain group of us older Millennials / Gen Xers truly understand the magic of DMB concerts in the late 90s / early 2000’s… you just had to be there. Every one I went to was amazing but the best were @ Giants Stadium ‘00 & ‘01 and Hartford Meadows august ‘04, to name a few. When you heard those first instrumentals of Warehouse start playing, which he often opened with, all the stars aligned and there was just nothing like it… if you know, you know… ✨
I’m a gen z and really wish I could have seen this performance
Amen… damn do I miss LeRoi and Boyd.
so I just made baby boomers being born in 64 lol... I always enjoyed Dave over the years but a couple of years ago I had the opportunity to see him in Mansfield, Mass...amazing show...he played over 3 hours...flawless performance...two days later my buddy called and said how'd you like to go see him again tonight in Guilford New Hampshire? I was in!! haha... another amazing show and a slightly better vibe ....now I'm a huge fan
15 year old here who would 1000% go back to this concert if I had a Time Machine
@@owenfouts2494 same bro
I was at this show. We were fairly close to the stage. It was my first year in college and my first time seeing DMB.
Great time
DMB has the absolute best live shows. Late 90's and early/mid 2000s were a special time. DMB has the best fans too.
❤
Music especially Great music spans Generations I'm a 1962 Baby Boomer I love and listen to DMB Everyday 🎶✌️💚🙃
I’m a Baby Boomer too going on 70. I also still listen to DMB’s music - MORE now than back when I was younger!
1960 Baby Boomer, Love DMB💜
I miss this version of the band so much
I feel that 😢
BUEFORD IS A ...MAD MAN ON THE DRUMS!!!!
Never posted a comment on RUclips before this one and that's probably all that needs to be said about this performance & video.
Great isn’t it I love the switch up in the music around the middle of the song ❤ my body just starts to Dance all by itself 😊
❤
dance till your dead
You're forgetting the "Baby Boomers" I'm 75 and have been to 30 DMB concerts.😛
Forever missing you Leroi... 😢
Heavens concerts must sound incredible!
Best "Warehouse" EVER!!
It’s so a Dave thing! Love this band so much! ❤Thanks for all of it!
Yes Boyd! Pluck away on that beautiful violin
Everybody was having fun on stage during this one...
I could seriously listen to Carter play drums all day long
Carter is the best drummer ever!!!!!!!
He is who inspired me to start playing at the age of 12
Me too
Dido
I miss seeing them like this. LeRoi jamming out, Boyd being the wild man, Carter being so damn solid. Dave, Stephan, and Butch rounding it all out, everyone smiling. I miss sweating out the summer concerts.
God these songs bring back so many memories from highschool and years afterwards been to over 20 concerts then
God ME TOO. Couldn’t have said it better. The best of memories.
Yup dmb is no more. It's just not like when they hit. I pulled over and they just blew my mind. Great memories though trading tapes from shows at trax and shi*
This is how it's done, boys and girls.
If you are showing someone their first DMB Song this should be it! PERFECTION! WOOOOOO
Damn I watch this 2-3 time a week for the last 5yrs. And it don't get old
Carter's incredible drum fills.
Those were the days. Best lineup ever.
Greatest drummer on earth today
So inspiring to see such brilliant musicians play with such critical timing while at the same time so thoroughly digging the groove they have created.
Couldn't have said it better then that!!
Right on!!!! It’s like you took the words outta my brain!! 🎶☮️🌱🍷💃🏽🕺🏻🎵
You don't no Dave lol
He's is so awesome
found this song by accident, LOVE IT! keep rockin it Dave Matthews Band! You're making the world a better happier place! Cant wait to see you again!
I'll never forget this show.
Been to 30+ DMB concerts around the country but I'd have given my left n*t to see this one. One of the best Warehouse versions I've ever heard (along with a ton of other bests). My favorite songs are Warehouse and #41.
Couldn’t say it better myself!!!
Same! Ive seen DMB in cities from coast to coast but I'd give anything to go back and see this one live. I bought this 3 disc album the day it came out and it has lived in every car I've owned since.
I absolutely love #41 also!!!
Man! I’m jealous and want to see them so bad! They’re in Denver next month so I’m trying to get the lawn tickets which are $49!!!! Love them! Peace!
@@susanfisher8903 Lawn seats or front row center... it doesn't even matter. Hell, you could listen from the parking lot and it would still be something special. I truly hope it works out and you get to go to the Denver show. I'm sure it'll be amazing. Well, 30+ shows and I haven't been to a bad one yet!! Take care... --RJ
After hundreds of listens, I truly believe this song is the best performance of any band ever.
ジャスティーンボーア!!
What a great bridge. The cadence and melody was seamless.
I'm 61 years young and I love DMB 🎶✌️💚🙃
Best Warehouse Ever!!
My favorite version of this song
Hands down the best live rendition of this song.
DMB's drummer is so UNDERRATED!!
So is the Saxophone player!!
Carter is commonly considered to be one of, if not the greatest drummer ever. LeRoi was definitely underrated on the sax.
@@Schmoose also in the top 10 wealthiest drummers
Carter is not underrated. Anyone who knows drumming knows carter!
carter is ridiculous. i was listening to a podcast w/ steve harris who produced busted stuff. while recording the album in san fransisco the band went off to play at the winter games in i think utah. when they came back to record more carter had to be calmed down cause he basically quit the band. harris said he had to call the bands manager, corrin capshawn to settle things down. but it was touch and go for a while.
Good old days babyyy!! Best of times!
This makes me so happy...I'm telling my kids to play this for me when I'm in the nursing home (maybe 20 years from now). It might just keep me alive LOL.
Yesssss
I totally get that! Im 61 yrs old DMB my favorite band out of all the rest ive followed all of these long years.
Dave matthews band is forever in my heart and soul. True musicians!!!! XO keep on making us love you more and more everyday.

One of my favorite LeRoi moments!
Saw them when they were a "college " band. All the "kids" in the audience wore white painters caps. Was the oldest couple there. Fantastic right from the get go !
Wish I could have been there.🎶
Same here my friend, St. Lawrence University, 1994. They're aging like wine!
That was a musical art MASTERPIECE
Still is
Love DMB. First CDs I ever purchased with my own money lol
I could listen to this everyday, so good.
If this song doesn’t make you happy, I don’t know that does
So true... best thing I read today😎
Damn....what did I do
@@holdenboley4118 I mean this song really makes me happy to. So I totally get what you mean.
Oh nice, sorry I thought you were replying to the first comment
@@holdenboley4118 no man. Not at all. Have a good day :)
Leroi Moore!! Jazz In this band unlike ever with any other band
I miss him RIP
He pass few years😢sad
Sorry for lost of Boyd - image is everything. But your great ❤ band history 🎉🎉🎉. I love this - Great sound !
Love when the band gets the audience engaged in a song! ❤❤🎶🎼🐾
Ok. A tiny bit of a doobie, some good headphones, close your eyes and then you're taken away instantaneously to the greatest performance and sounds that any human being will ever hear
ok
Trying it now 👍🏽
I tend to agree, my compliments to you (the commenter) and the band; what you say is not overstated. 😬
ok
I'm sorry it's that way......I know how to make life right I also know I'm capable with no capability......but I I'd for you not me so don't leave me here forever .....please.......I think that's what this is and only care because it's that bad and real..otherwise I wouldn't have said a word I also got punk fand pink panther
Dave will always be great but this was my fav lineup & era of the band. This was a great performance as well.
No Band in this world is as bad as this
@@BethM-ph8ms dipshit
Happy music ❤
Stefan killed this!!!!!l
Who knew that a song about dying could be so uplifting. Great stuff. .
So jealous they got to woo in the beginning. A rare intro version for him. Prob my favorite live warehouse.
I thought we'd get the woo at C'Ville last weekend but no ):
Patrick Reilly They did woos for every version from 2000 to like 2009, lol
@@DannyYankou for real they did it for a while. Needs to be brought back though not a huge fan of the album intro
I was at this show!
My favorite as well
Carter is the f**king man, dude..
The audience reactions at the pauses during the intro makes me think of seeing Rush live when they would play 2112.
Nothin gets the dopamine flowin like Carter goin “chaKEET ahhhhh”
Did anyone ever notice the seamless microphone move by Carter at 8:34? The mic that he sings back up in is in his way, and he knocks it out of the way with his stick and keeps on playing without missing a beat. Always thought that was awesome
Missed that good catch
8:32 :)
If Dave wasn’t a musician he would have been top of the game no matter what he put his hand too some people just have it all. Pure multitasking
I have loved DMB for 22 years, but just recently watched a bunch of videos about Carter and have a new-found appreciation for his incredible talent. So, love everything about this.
one of the masterpieces of my lifetime
You are like a fine wine DMB you just get better with age & I am old school bloomer 56 years old & loving you all for my past 13 years now Thank you ✌️
The world would be a better place if they listened to Dave matthews everyday. You can't help but feel happy. Xo ❤️
That drummer kicks ass. And so do the rest of the band.
His concerts are so much fun want to go again

BOYD OH BOYD THOSE ARMS
Deep meaning for me all right!!!! I was surrounded by angels and Dave Mathews of course, saved my life.
Can't wait to see u guys. Miss ya real bad 2021 bring it back f this shit we need love and that's what DMB is
I remember watching this on TV. Still have the CD and VHS :)
Greatest live version ever with the whole band...
Love this version.
I could just live my life to this. Thanks Dave this is my anthem!
I wish I had this much fun every day!!
I’ve been watching clips from this concert; it seems like in this performance he tried to capture the album progression and sound. Love it!! ❤️💕💕
DMB, all the solo's I have to practice now.
They certainly have a genre of their own... can't get enough of them!
At 2:42 he sings we all fade away , and it shows Leroy 😏✌️

Thx for the night time song DMB, no BottleRock again? But will see u in Tahoe, Bay Area, So. Cal and wherever possible, you and the band inspire me “everyday” ❤️
Great song great band
I have about 20 versions of this song on cd, studio, bootleg, live, treasure even single one
I've seen these guys four times...
Amazing live show...
Happy vibes. .
Then they blast your brains out with a dark slow version of All Along the Watchtower where every guy gets a little solo time...
Then the show's over & you know you've experienced something special....
Just got back from their show in NH… #33 for me 😬
FANTASTIC
So f'ing good. Masters of their craft.
DMB is among the best
Heard this last night in cincy and it’s still my favorite-and I still don’t entirely know what it is all about except some kind of happiness 😂
The "Warehouse" is your mind......... Great song, no doubt.
ESPETACULAR!!!!
This is the best song ever
I Love the switch up to the beat of the music I can’t stop myself from dancing the music takes me over ❤
I love this song. Thank you MK
there is no better recording of this song. tears of joy x
My brother got me into this band. Used to listen to DMB all the time in the car with him, and I was too young at the time (90s kid) to go with him to one of their concerts in their prime.
That doesn't matter though because I'm seeing them in a few months and sxm channel 30 was an excellent re-introduction for me all these years. Especially with all the live tracks they play on that station... I think Warehouse is definitely one of their best songs and I can't get under the table and dreaming out of my cd player in the car because I just can't get over how amazing the album is. The live versions are even more amazing. It's no surprise this band got big- they understood the assignment, blend so many styles of music together in a great cohesive package and this music is absolutely timeless. I'm in love.
There’s no one like Dave he’s funny talented unusual and inspiring he makes his own guitar chords he’s a cool guy and honest. It was a great day when I became a fan of him a musical journey I didn’t know I would encounter.
wow. every song is a jam...
I remember a friend introducing to DMB with a certain album called Everyday. From that moment I was hooked. When I found this album I was mesmerised by their sound
