Thank you for this. One of the best live recordings of all time. Everyone firing on all cylinders. LeRoi grinning while Jeff Coffin is creating sounds that are piercing the space time continuum, it's all just so good. Also audio quality, and your shots are great, really enjoyed this.
Jeff Coffin, it was hard letting go of LeRoi, but you have risen to the occasion and soared beyond. It was cool seeing you and Roi jamming together on one of my favorite DMB tunes. Keep making the magic! 💜😎

This cut of #41 opened my eyes up to the world of jam bands. Ive met so many good people across Phish, Dead, WSP, Dave shows because of this 32 min version of 41. I owe a lot to this. Thanks Dave, Carter, Bela Fleck crew... and a big thanks to LeRoi. RIP and thanks for the tunes.

Carter stretching out the crash out to hit that countdown 3210 (32 minutes and 10 seconds) playback time to play off of Dave’s “flying through space” lyrics - simply magic. 😉
My favorite part of this is so damn subtle. At 5:10 or so Vic starts playing this sly little riff under the music and at 5:25 Butch picks up on it and echos it. Vic's smile when he hears Butch nab that line is to me what this music thing is all about. Just the little conversations that happen throughout.
Didn’t notice that until now, brilliant catch! The butch era is the best era imo. Love that funky space synth butch gets into on the final sojourn of Arjuna jam at the end too.
Many years ago, through a friend, I ended up at a Thanksgiving dinner hosted by a lady who owned a horse farm in Charlottesville. I was kind of just along for the ride. There were many tables all over the house and I got separated from the folks I came with. But I ended up at a table with Dave Matthews with maybe a dozen other people. I later learned the lady who owned the farm was his aunt! Talk about an engaging guy! He pretty much dominated conversation, which was just fine with us. But I realized then just how special you have to be to make it big. He’s a really, really nice guy and very easy to be around. No airs at all.
The amount of talent on that stage! I got the tingles all over my body. Then when Jeff started his solo at about 12:09 .... and Carter was holding it down ... and Leroi was watching with admiration. Sometimes music moves me to tears of joy at its beauty. Is that weird? Does anybody else feel it like that? ...and there I found the greatest band in the universe!

This right here, is the kind of stuff I could listen to repeatedly! Worth a listen, guys.
+Joseph “Tyler” Thomas - I do listen to this quite often - AWESOME.
He is the Jimmy Buffett of my generation. He takes you to that place where you long to be. And this song... something else. Brilliant.
👍
My favorite song, It as a special meaning to me and the fact that I came across it, around my best friend’s anniversary makes me smile and miss him that much more. RIP my sweet Russell you are always in my thoughts. Thank you for sharing this.
What a privilage to live in the same era when DMB performs!! Soooooo happy! This version rocks!
Thank God I’m living at the same time as DMB.
I was curious how they could do a 32 minute #41. I got my answer and my mind blown at the same time! What an awesome jam thanks for the upload.
The most amazing version I've heard from DMB. Always loved their music but this is the pinnacle of musicianship
Head this so many times and never gets old! Incredible!!!
That, was some of the most legendary musicianship I’ve ever heard!! Goosebumps FULL body!❤️🤘🏼
"you and me could save every little thing... I believe God has his own plan" What a beautiful outro to a fantastic work of live art.
Jeff's head turns as red as his shirt when he is doing that brilliant solo 12 mins in, incredible.
Lucky to be at this one!
Dave Matthews is great...but Bela and Victor are freaking amazing.
And Jeff Coffin is a beast
Arrgh2112 Dave Matthews true talent is his ability to assemble such a talented group like this on a single stage without over powering each other
and writing the songs that put these talented musicians together in the first place. What a gift.
Definitely such a treat to have been there for this...everyone was on top of their game...legendary energy. Nice to see again after so much time has passed. Wow.
