KBro05 you balance on your sits bones, not the lower back :) keep the spine long, and open your heart forwards - try to avoid rounding through the back (are you talking about the first exercise? )
sjanaelise...yeah the first & second exercise. The base of my back ends up with a bruise on it. I don’t think my backs straight enough, like you suggest. . I’ll keep working on it. The other exercises are no problem. Thanks so much for your joyful & positive vibes. Keep being u❤️
Moves do work abs but this is definitely not yoga. Yoga means yoke, or union, of body and spirit, so mindfulness is key. Tough to be mindful/in the present moment and spiritually grounded with distracting music and a stopwatch. Yoga would emphasize the breath and tuning in to physical sensations and how they change moment by moment.
Watch some of her other videos, she is a wonderful yoga teacher. I think here she is incorporating some poses used in yoga, and saying that strong abs are important for a healthy and safe yoga practice.
the fact that she was able to do the whole thing without any cuts or breaks gives me motivation.
