I believe mofo RC is the only one that has a brushless motor that goes in the stock configuration with the transfer gear I know people have their own opinion on everything but like we can't say technically that they're junk if it brings joy to somebody else
The Spectrum brushless setup for the scx24 goes right into the stock location and is $35 for motor and ESC on Horizon's clearance section. The original price was $99. It's $35 because it's terrible.
Man I wish there was a good BL system that went in the scx24 without having to chop it up and turn the skid and extend drive shafts. Maybe it'll remain a pipe dream.
Furitek's package seems a lot better as it includes the mount. But it's still great that HW entered the 24th scale for added competition. Still waiting on a HW stubby!
Furitek the 24th stuff has got so much better and then there's a couple New Kids on the Block big kid tiny truck ESC that's exactly what I look for is that transition and then that motor jumping under any low speed or any type of bind and temperature so far big kid tiny truck is the best I put in one
I run the ESC with a Furitek Venom and it runs great. Didn’t have to deal with pinion and for me was just plug and play. Used it to replace an original Lizard V1.
@@Danielxperez14 I got it direct from Hobbywing website. I love my Furitek stuff but the ease of usage, no bluetooth module I know Lizard Pro's come with it but not for $45.99 which is what I paid and I have several programming boxes from previous Hobbywing products.
The kenon hobbies pinion gear set for the pn90 fits as well. I’ve gotten this to fit a mofo aluminum adjustable motor plate(not the 12mm) with stand offs and forward facing. Also the Akers Engineering low pro micro Komodo forward facing mount with standoffs. And, like yours, the furitek mounts.
I would love it if they would make these two in one ESC reciever combos so you could hook a brushless motor and ESC right directly to your old ESC reciever combo and just take the brushless motor out and disconnect the wires from the old speed controller and just use the old speed controller as a b e c and receiver
You need to try a MOFO motor......it will bilt strait to the syock transmission and ir is butter smooth......um gonna have to try this hobbywing out looks awesome......great video man

True dedication!!!
Making a 24th scale course indoors!

I agree, the smoothest system and I’ve tried many different systems

All in 1 hw system would be freaking nice. But🤷♂️

Nice review. Thanks for showing that it’s not just a plug and play system!
Crazy they're not providing a suitable pinion with these things
Gotta get me one of those hats👍😁✌️😎

And tuning it made it smoother from initial settings as well.
@@edgargonz12where did you buy it from and how much

It was very helpful. Thanks for sharing. I have one question. What can replace furitek?
You might be able to put your receiver on the bottom side of your battery tray the wires may get too close to the drive shaft though
33% underdrive in rear axle and 3s lipo I think it would be perfect

Lol you should see some of my mini crawler builds...... Just a mess of wire
😁🤷♂️
The initial price was fair too

Hola! Tienes el link de aquel Motor? Saludos desde Chile
Hardpark also offers lower brushless mounts. Nick and Chad making things happen 👍
👍😁😎✌️
We are going to be in the mountains for five days .maybe I'll have service
A minute 🤷♂️🤯???
I put a furitek stinger in my trx4m major difference with the low end gears
@@ohnoadventures have a great week👍😁
@@old-rcplane-phart I posted at 22 seconds but it didn’t go through right away. It’s 35 degrees here. Things move a little slower in the cold😂
Hola me podrias decir que piñon montaste en el motor?
Isn’t the fruited a MOD0.5 11tooth? Did you find a MOD0.3 11 tooth pinion gear with a 2mm bore?
Have you tried and reviewed the Furitek Unity yet for the Ascent 18, TRX4M or SCX24?
Yeah I have videos on that.
I love this channel. I haven't been able to support him financially like I want but he still shouts out to me when he is live. He cares about his audience. I'll always watch him!
Why not make Fusion 24 instead for the SCX24 with different sizes of motor can
The size limitations of this motor area is the issue
Did you switch to a flysky receiver out of preference or did the spektrum not allow a pass through?
Dollar for dollar, flysky is cheaper and is just about as good. I use the gt5 a d LOVE it
Does anyone know the solution to the fly sky gt5 steering glitching, seen several people with the problem
Unrelated, but I wonder if this would work in a WPL D12/D14?
After the “Siver Surfer?”
will this setup work in the losi micro-b?
Hey Kevin talbot needs ur help watch his latest vid and design him some 1 peice 3d printed wheel that will act like ur inserts
Put it on ur track that is a challenge.
Or just get the Furitek setup that comes with everything 😅
Kind of a miss for Hobbywing. I appreciate the attempt, but I think for now furitek is still the clear cut leader in 24th scale electronics.
I hate how nothing works with the stock transmission
Nice..done subscribe bro
Sry any rc under 1/10th scale is junk I won't buy ir watch.
Then why say it on a vid you aint seeing 😂
Yet you commented, provided engagement and drew attention to it 😂
I'm not selling my watch
@@jameswisecarver…and what’s an infrared watch?
