i agree with you. i love seeing how cabable they are but Im all about a certain realm of realism in them. This is cool to see what they can do but agreed does nothing for me as far as getting my motor runnin
Imo Prophet Designs makes the *best* chassis for SCX24s!!! He did a great job building his rig. Many many plus points!!! What would I do differently? *Loose weight* *There is good weight and bad weight* If he could exchange any metal or brass parts with plastic, Links, link raiser, link extensions and so on (Not knuckles of course). Battery position and choice (small and flat). The Emax digital has enough torque and is smaller and lighter. It’s a wide axle, rearrange the servo and battery position, if possible. *Tire mods* Sand down the tire sidewalls and find the right foams. Anyway, he made an extremely capable crawler! It hurts to hear the one got stolen. Thanks for making these videos! You wife is the best!!!
@@reprieverc Thx, absolutely! *Tire mods* are one of if not the most effective improvement for *rock* crawler performance. I do shaving sidewalls, narrowing cut-N-shut and cutting nubs. What an awesome rig I really like the whole flow of the chassis. With the angle of the rear u-joint I thought it might be jerky but it looked super smooth🤘✌️
That truck is crazy!! And it’ll go anywhere pretty much. Awesome build. Exactly I’ve reached out to a couple companies about chassis and I’ve never heard anything back from them

SICK! i ended up adding bodies to my naked builds like the Slayer and Mini Wild Xt, theyre just too good its almost boring. Extra points for having a body and they still perform really well

With that chassis you don't want to ever roll your axle toward the ground you want to roll your axle up toward the transmission to keep stuff from binding up and when you're going over something that's giant if you got that drive shaft rolled toward the ground it's going to catch like a big dog and as soon as it falls out to the end of the suspension it's going to be kicked even harder
tried some different angles and I ended up liking this caster setup best for crawling and the driveshaft phasing and angles ended up working nicely although close to their extremes
I'm not sure how I feel about comp builds yet. 🤔 It is however a nice build so I'll definitely have to say that. 💯😎 It seems like the throttle is a little jumpy. Maybe adjust the expo a little bit to get a smoother throttle response. It's one of those builds where it's point and shoot. It definitely killed some lines and crawls great.
