I like that second build. The axle combo is intrigueing. Also, those shocks are not that bad as long as you cut the spring shorter, and put the right grease in them. Also you can stuff a tiny amount of soft foam in there (or gel ball, or other), remove the springs, and grease them. Not super long travel, but the are somewhat customizable, move smoothe, and are compact. Not bad.

Definitely liked the brown truck .cool wheels and tires ,the rear cage is awesome too . The yellow truck is not something I would leave as it is . Cheers .....Harry
I was thinking of making a channel to do this exact thing. But I never will. I played around with ideas. Have a point system. Certain amount of points for... Style / looks according to viewers on a poll and your own vote. Performance on the course / lines. It can be a bit interactive with the audience, and the winner gets a prize shipped back with the truck. Tires, stickers, whatever. Gives more incentive to have people participate.

I love the flysky gt5. I heard a lot of great things about them before I bought my first one and I was not disappointed. I bought the avatar to set up my ax24 build and it did not impress me at all. I like the ease of 4 wheel steering but throttle control setup is still an ongoing issue for me.
Running the stock rear axle is actually an upgrade. No need for the added weight of a metal axle out back. The rig will need less weight added up front to get that perfect 60/40 weight bias. He should have installed a black anodized axle up front to get the "matchy matchy" vibe going on. Like the "this versus that" idea. PEACE!
The Pizza Planet WT Micro build has been a favorite of mine on IG for a while. It looks fantastic but doesn't seem to work very well on your rocks. I'm sure with some weight tuning, and ESC re-curve, and some flubz it would wake up very nicely.
Hey, do you think the weight between the two axels make s a difference for weight distribution? Better to have a little extra weight up front? Maybe stay stock on the rear for lightness? Great vid and I do love the idea of people sending rigs in for a little friendly match.....
@@24Yepp No worries brother, would enjoy sending a rig to roast/head to head! But I'm a shadetree Rc builder, new parts mixed with what is laying around. No where near the "looks" of yours or the other rigs but the buggas will run lines!

I’m going to be starting a SCX24 build I have a body but my question is should I buy a full SCX24 which doesn’t make a lot of sense since I won’t be using the body a almost everything else so I’m thinking I just start picking my parts frame axles electronics & build it up so the reality is it will be build with no actual SCX parts seems like the way to go. Let me know your thoughts I’m sure it’ll be helpful to me. Thanks

Great conversation between you and your girlfriend. Great humor you both. Realjonty did quite a good job with the look of the dark truck. For me the yellow one is just childish. Performancewise it's unbelievable, how you can spend so much money in parts and the result is worse than a stock truck. In his case I would try to improve the talent of making the bodies his own, put better wheels on the trucks and don't touch the rest. So you can save much money, buy more trucks (or whatever) and will have better performers.

I’ve been into rc my whole life on an off. After my son was killed in car accident I’ve buried myself in an I don’t ever see me doing anything different it keeps me sane! i have a mini komodo and its almost silent these seem loud? or is it just me? its been so long since i got my rop from mofo to run i cant remember if its loud or not but it probably is, at like 3600kv i would think it is loud.
@@Hannsom7 Certain bodies make it echo a bit more I've noticed. Also, metal gears = louder. Also the camera kinda messes with the audio a bit. But some setups are definitely louder than others yeah

I believe you can bind a fms transmitter to the furitek receiver. The furitek transmitter may be the issue
Nice improvement on that new rig shown on the phone. Paint weathering requires studying real world stuff and also restraint. Less is more, always.

The rear cage is from the ECX Barrage. No longer made but possibly still available collecting dust in a hobby shop somewhere.
