Thanks for the UTB18 content!! This is my favorite crawler and feels great with this motor, it was an easy install. Tons of power and great slow crawl. The squeak is louder than the motor🤣
I just picked mine up along with the whole link set front and rear , steering link set , Rear link riser , brass portal covers , over drive gears. Doing wheels and tires tomorrow. Now I'm wanting this motor /esc combo lol then I need a Rx and TX 😂 it's always "I'm almost done with it"
@@Bonitacreekrcsi agree on that, i use some 1/10 parts on the Utb18 even stock was super capable,i added a more torque motor and better esc all brushed btw😅
So this would be perfect for the WPL if it can fit 8T on the motor shaft - this has always been the limiting factor, otherwise you have to source a different transmission.
Put it in the WPL ? I was thinking of Brushless Setup Next to learn and play with. I also want a adjustable ESC would be fun to play with. Almost a Year in the Hobby.
agfrc servo is super fast I was shocked of the speed of it and even lowered down sensitivity to low and pwm power to make it slower for trx 4 nice build! Very capable. it can even ride on Mars I guess
Nice addition to a terrific little truck! I love mine too. I took the shock perches off mine and it sits lower now. Still looking for good tyres though. Cheers!
I'm looking at getting the 4WS utb18 and and this HB Fusion M16. I have Fusion Pro's in my TRX4, VRD Carbon, and H10 Optic (with VFD Twin tranny). Love the FOC!
Always a great video! I am curious to see how it would do in a Mini LMT? 3000kv, 3S capability, and all the tunability should mean some decent versatility.
I just got my UTB 18, after driving a friend’s. I may have to upgrade to this motor system. Quick question, what foams are you running in your tires? I’m getting ready to put mine on and am just wondering. Thanks.
What transmitter are you using? Same one for all your crawlers? I’ve accumulated several crawlers and bashers now, and I think I would benefit from a better transmitter, but I don’t know where to start. Thanks in advance. Love the channel
I really like Radiolink and Flysky. They make great transmitters that have lots of channels, tons of capability, and are very reasonably priced (about $50-$80). And personally, I don't really find it necessary to try and get everything running off one transmitter. Most RCs come with their own transmitter, and I do have a couple binded to the same one. But generally I just find it easier to buy a label maker and put the name of the car on the underside of the controller.

I put this motor in my Element Ecto 12. Dropped right in and TONS of power and great low end control.
Have you found any other upgrades for your Ecto12? I would like to get one but the aftermarket is nearly none...
The UTB18 is a mystery. By far one of my favorite rigs. The Mini16 is an amazing addition.

Great review! You had me cracking up testing the punch on the work bench. You just kept going and knocking everything off! Love the channel!
UTB18 is so underrated! I find it to be quite the sweet spot between capability and size. BTW, thank you for the UTB18 love!
The utb18 is actually closer to 1/12 scale if you do the math.
Nonetheless it’s still a fun crawler to wheel.
@ yes, and they are pretty capable stock. I’m am thinking about getting one.

Would be cool to see this fusion mini in the Losi mini LMT

IMO wpl can't handle the torq, not stock anyways, but, if thats what you got and this is what you want, do it, do it big!!
@@jameswisecarver I have a 370 motor with Metal Tranny. Good Times :)

Was thinking could be the best upgrade for a cheap wpl like rc

Oh ok good to know. Thanks.

Thanks for trying this in the UTB18. Total beginner question: where did you plug in the lights? Also, can you use the stock pinion on the motor?
That thing is actually a pretty dope rig. Very nice 👌🏻. I'm ashamed to be one of the ones to have never watched a video of yours on it.
I just put one in my ecx temper 2 and it cleaned it up
what pinion did you use?
how did you get your lights to work on aftermarket rx?
Put it in the wpl.
$60 wow! Very reasonable priced!
I think a 2000kv would be much better. It’s nice to have options.
She's Got Some Juice Bro😅😮👍🙌🤯🤩💯
Awesome video!
Same as you once I drove one I bought it right away.Great crawler. What is that squeak? Mine makes that same noise.
I think its the tires and the foam inside. Mine does it too
Its the drive shafts!
@@OutlawFarmersRC could very much be the drive shafts. Never thought of that.
Thanks for this Adam! I too picked up this unit but it has yet to arrive to me. Wondering if the stock pinion works with the Fusion system? THX
The stock pinion goes right on the Fusion mini, used it in mine
@@Ayrton_Groesbeck Awesome! THX
I also figured out that a programming card from a 1080 will get you started

Do you think this would this fit in a trx4m?
Does your Fusion Mini keep going for a second after you let off the throttle at max? Mine does and I can't figure out how to stop it.
Mine does it a bit
I still want to see someone put one in an SCX24 with the RCAWD 370 motor mount LOL
What wheel and tire are you running
I'm have a problem with my fusion mini 16 when I let off the throttle it takes a few seconds until the motor start to let off on the throttle
Have you ever broken a stock front axle shaft or rear
Fronts all the time. The first upgrade I recommend is the dlux fab u-joint axles
@CapeCrawlers I'll do that before the electronics then . Thanks
Jconcepts 1.9×3.93 tusks green with injora 1.9 small yellow silicones. Youre welcome... lol
What size pinion did you use
Stock motor pinion
@CapeCrawlers thanks man I think this would be my final touch to my capra . Can't beat 60 bucks
That seems more like a 1/12 scale
Even though this looks to work great with the UTB18, looks a bit too big for a TRX4M, honestly....
Yea it won't fit without modifying won fit ascent 18 either or hobbyplus hunter 2024
These should be $50.00
20 minutes commercials really!!!!
