How passionate you are about this nearly brought me to tears my man. You are so inspiring, and i cannot wait to start creating again when my mindspace is there for it ❤
By far the most impressive part of these is your memory!! I'll write a riff half this dense and forget how to play it after a few hours. Your riffs seem to lock into your mind just as they are
This is my favorite channel. Lol when you said “oooooooooooOoOo” with the bass part I smiled at the same moment and busted out laughing cause it was as sick as you thought it was lol
Even though it’s a mathrock-ish riff, I can still hear the metal core heaviness to follow. It must be the tone of the guitar that makes it sound like that.
After hearing this pretty clean riff in the first minute of this video you know I'm already hooked *EDIT* You've outdone yourself again with this piece, it really made my day Nick!
Dude you have inspired me to pick up an electric guitar after years of being an acoustic fingerstyle player. I’ve enjoyed every episode of Thick Riff Thursday. Thanks dude for sharing your music with us.
There are a bunch "lets make music together' type of fellas out there in RUclips, but with none of them I get goosebumps while watching the video. Nick's Thick Riff Thursday just hits me all the time. Goosebumps. That bass part, damn... So elegant, yet so powerful and impactful. What a great talent you are. And also you have such a nice taste in musical decisions.
Stumbling upon your work in this space is the definition of a find of a fun little nugget of a YT channel I can only speak for myself but this weekly series is so perfect to me because while my life is in flux and I just can't afford time to jam too much anymore, things like this help keep me interested and creative juices fresh. Thanks Nick :)
My Niiiiiib, i already see the djenty riff coming after that chill session, can't to see this turning into a full song!!! My God, you always kills when you're doing atmospherics/ambient sessions, i can feel myself getting augmented, happy Chill Riff Thursdaay!!
mark holcomb called, he said he wants his chords back or something? just started watching but i already know this ones going to be THICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKK (with emotion)
Dude.....I love your responses to the simplest little things that make big impacts. Very beautiful piece too man. Make sure you share it when its finished.
This is Thicc tears thursday. Sounds beautiful. Needs a little drum fill around the 51 second mark going into the hi-hat part though. It would make that bass slap part stand out more!!
Great job dude ! Love the bass crescendo bringing intensity. You even seem to have more fun recording bass that you have with guitar. I experienced the same thing. This piece has so much potential : you need to push it further bro
Amazing as always! I love that you give the same energy and thought into clean riffs as you do other thick riffs. Side note, did you know you can customize the note names in the piano roll for Logic? James Zhan has a video that I reference every time I get a new GGD library haha very handy when it comes to writing drum parts, so you don't have to guess where the cymbals are. Anyways, please never stop doing what you do, I thoroughly enjoy Thick Riff Thursdays and your music!
You’re recordings always sound so clean and clear. I just got studio one and am trying to get into recording my own music. I don’t know a thing about production. Any advice for someone just starting out?
Hey man, just give it a go and have fun. Dont think too much about having it sound nice and all that. Get used to the software/plug-ins etc. And then you can start on the whole processing thing. Good luck with it 😄
Nick you are great and your nolly preset are insane (i want your studio chair tho 😂) can you make a thick riff thursday using the new archetype plini x?
I want to be Nick Broomhall when I grow up
I want to be Nick Broomhall‘s Guitar when i grow up
Me too😓
I want to be a broom
Nicks dog is living the life
Already grown up and still want to be him 😂
Your reaction while playing the most simple bass line of all time is beautiful
that bass really did bring it from demo territory to straight banger though
Sometimes less is more.
@@TheBanana93how can less be more? more is more.
@@ripit.3457joke right?
@@calebryhal293 no, I don't eat donuts.
Definitely has that 'Periphery- Lune' kinda feel to it...
Honestly don't hear it
Not really, has that priestess feel imo
HOW DO YOU NOT HAVE MORE RECOGNITION!!?? You’re actually my biggest inspiration musically
Due time
That bass tied it all together. Less is more
Wish he didn't change the tone from the paralax. It was so perfect, but now it sounds weak.
How passionate you are about this nearly brought me to tears my man.
You are so inspiring, and i cannot wait to start creating again when my mindspace is there for it ❤

Always my favorite day of the week.
Tranquil rift Thursday 👏
Inspiring 😌
This is my favorite channel. Lol when you said “oooooooooooOoOo” with the bass part I smiled at the same moment and busted out laughing cause it was as sick as you thought it was lol
Would love to see a demo with the new Archetype Plini X
When the bass came in, i ascended to heaven
You are so freakin talenten man! Thick Riff Thursday is like the best thing of the week!
Even though it’s a mathrock-ish riff, I can still hear the metal core heaviness to follow. It must be the tone of the guitar that makes it sound like that.
Only good thing with time going so fast is that it's already TRT time ! Nice 🤩🤩
Damn that's good. Mark Holcomb is slowly becoming a discount Nick Broomhall IMO.
this would sound so good with some really heavy chugs like a vildhjarta riff
You are such a great inspiration dude
Thank you so much! 🙏
I can hear the inspiration from Satellites - Periphery. Immediately got hooked to it.
Feels like mrak and I love every second
put this on the album
After hearing this pretty clean riff in the first minute of this video you know I'm already hooked
*EDIT*
You've outdone yourself again with this piece, it really made my day Nick!
Oh man I'm in the Bus in Argentina, and this melodic riff make me cry, so inside,so peaceful. The best video riff melodic in my year✨🌠🎶
From the first couple of notes I thought you’ll play nevermeant by American football
I looove these. I was hoping last night you would do a clean riff soon. And bam, here it is. Great job, man. Thank you for posting these.
this is a good one. I would've had a hard time showing that restraint on the bass. good stuff.
Bro I’d love to pick your brain. This is so beautiful. I cried no cap.
This video was so calming to watch.
Great. Just Great.
Dude you have inspired me to pick up an electric guitar after years of being an acoustic fingerstyle player. I’ve enjoyed every episode of Thick Riff Thursday. Thanks dude for sharing your music with us.
Thin riff Thursday 🔥🔥
This sounds very nice, please continue this song :)
Reminds me of aquatic ambience - and that's a compliment.
Man that is a Beauty !
OMG, Just too beautiful
Bro had me melting into my seat right away with this one! 😂
thursday is my favourite day of the week
Archetype Nolly for the cleans?! Great content my dude!
Can't get tired of TRT videos, the amount of insight into your writing process is invaluable. You inspire people 🤍

New MSSP and new TRT on the same day establishes that Thursday is the best day of the week.

Sounds amazing man!
mark holcomb called, he said he wants his chords back or something?
just started watching but i already know this ones going to be THICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKK (with emotion)
Nah this is something Jake Bowen would write, this is too slow to be a Mark riff
@@MannyMo_ thats so real
Very ethereal! You could easily elevate and intensify this into a whole song and end it a little heavy and get Dayseeker with it 🤙🏻
I missed it yesterday so it's Friday now but I feel like today's night is emo night
I really enjoyed this.
Watched this all the way through, and immediately rewatched it. So good homie. TRT is something I look forward to every week!
Thin riff?... either way, another banger! Love this series!
Dude.....I love your responses to the simplest little things that make big impacts.
Very beautiful piece too man. Make sure you share it when its finished.
when the slap bass came in 😮💨
Sounds soooo good
Can’t wait for the EP’s!
So damn juicy. Love the reactions when you’re cooking man. Can feel the excitement when things get layered 🤘🏼
Dude... insane satisfaction))
These are so special to watch just because you clearly love what you're doing. Keep it up man this sounds so sick
Subscribed. Your expertise in songwriting and production is truly enviable. Thank you.
I respect the grind man, glad I can be here early on, your stuff is great. Giving me old scale the summit vibes on this one.
Reminds me a little of scale the summit! Very sick
Dude ERRA plays in drop F# and a lot of their music is very beautiful.
That bass note tho 🔥
Honestly this is a good change of pace I’m really enjoying this allot I always look forward to THICC riff Thursday
Strong Priestess vibes!
Hot damn that was great.
You have very good ideas, awesome video

You know it's Thursday when Nick releases TRT
very melody, this is like a novelists! intro
NICE!
It seems compatible with the riff in the 3rd episode thick riff thursday
Amazing as always! I love that you give the same energy and thought into clean riffs as you do other thick riffs.

By now you have at least 8 to 10 songs ready to be featured in an album!
I need this song in my lice
Any plans to release these tracks maybe on streaming or bandcamp?
