One more piece of advice... after selecting the best card... buy 2 (two cards) and álways leave one card ín the drone... then you will never forget the card... if you want to fly...
For me, the best choice is Samsung PRO Plus 128 GB, 180MB/s Read 130MB/s Write for $19.90 A good choice when data is transferred to PC using a USB 3.0 microSD adapter. It's blazing fast.

How do I get it to record footage to the sd card in the drone?

I use sandisk extreme pro and the vid from the dji avata wouldn't show up and when i use another one for sji mini 4 pro its not working and change to internal storage.

My SD can only be inserted with the metal connectors facing up. Your video looks like the connectors face down. Could someone please confirm?

I also use sandisk extreme pro card, less waiting time especially when you shoot a bunch of panoramas and save its individual DNGs

I bought a Sandisk Extreme Pro 128 GB for my DJI mini 3 pro. The recording was no trouble but My PC would not recognize the card. Did some Google search and found out that I was not the only one. Returned the card and went for a Samsung. No problem.
facts, literally found myself in the same boat yesterday thinking it would be able to work for me. Looked online and was utterly surprised by how many people have problems with it
i just do not understand , specs says it need 150mbs , and the v30s does not go up higher tham 130mbs.

Is it the best for all DJI drones?
I have some problems with Sandisk Extreme Plus (256GB) and Sandisk Extreme Pro (128GB and 64 Gb).
The drone footage got some frame drops and the movie it's not smooth with Extreme Plus, with Extreme Pro is better,
but still present, from time to time I can see that the video is not smooth.
Are original micro sd card, tested, all on last update, my PC can play 8K without issues, all codecs are installed.
I did ordered a Lexar 1066x 128GB V30 U3 A2 microSDXC card, recommended by DJI, and I will redo the tests.
My drone was new, maybe is a dud?
I will see after Lexar card test.

I used a sandisk extreme pro 128gb but when i record night mode i got a warning saying the card is not fast enough. If i use a 256gb with quicker write speed will this help?

Fine video Hendrik. I have also had the best experiences with the Sandisk Extreme Pro and then like to take the 256gb version because it has a maximum write speed of 140mb/second. The Extreme Pro 128gb version goes up to a maximum of 90mb/second. I previously used the Sandisk Extreme with 128gb but had problems with write speed with 48mp photos and then especially if you shoot 10 right after each other. With the Sandisk Extreme Pro 256gb I no longer have any problems.

The Extreme Pro 128gb version goes up to a maximum of 90mb/second. So I recommend the 256gb version of the Sandisk Extreme Pro. For 34 euros you have a card that is reliable and big enough for many shots.

I use Sandisk Extreme pro 256GB these are great cards. How ever there are lots of fake ones on the market, make sure that the seller is either Sandisk or Amazon, not third parties. Its the best way to make sure that you get original cards. I have just ordered the high endurance 256GB for my car dash cam as that is working 24/7 either while driving or while in parking mode. Would it not be beneficial to give some idea of how much footage you might get on to a 128GB card as an example? I have no idea if a 128GB card would give me 1 hour @ 4K60 or 1,000 hrs...

Nope this is just how the file system has been arranged that it chops off videos in chunks of 4 GB if I remember correctly, so nothing wrong with your Drone

San Disk are the worst sd cards out there , all gone faulty that I have used in my drones . Would not recommend them to my worst enemy.
I use Samsung sd cards never any problems and a lot cheaper.
I never had one fail on me
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA I’ve had 4 go faulty sent them back to Sandisk in USA and they replaced all of them after I complained.
They sent me a 400gb card to replace a 128gb card . Never use them now replaced with Samsung in both mini 3 pro and mini 4 pro no issues and way cheaper than Sandisk.
