It's been too long away from the fabulous John Farnham - Just last night I was watching Celine Dion's recent documentary and was reminded of their collaboration and John's great skill that Celine was in awe of! I definitely recommend a watch of that... Featured in this video is the OBSBOT Tiny 2 which is my favourite new piece of tech! Hey Nina, it was John's 75th birthday on the 1st of July and his son Robert released photo's of them celebrating especially after his cancer treatment. He looks fabulous and very healthy. If you can and wish maybe have a look.❤❤
Great reaction to this incredible performance.....What a killer band hey... The reason all the band members have stayed with John for many many years is he is such a professional and always features them in nearly every performance. Same with the backing singers... John was the ultimate entertainer...Saying hi from our Great Southern Land, Down under 🦘🦘🦘
John surrounds himself with talent and then lifts everyone up higher. Back when talent wasn't adjusted using the Audio-box. Having seen him live, I must admit to enjoying a little glee that we had him first.
Thanks Nina. Love your work 😊 Glad you enjoyed this one. Farnsey and his band rock'n out and playing it up to the crowd - what could be better?! 😊 Johns vocals are fantastic in this performance with such high energy. The album this song comes from, Chain Reaction, is one of his best, full of great messages and catchy tracks. Another from the album you may like to listen to is See The Banners Fall from this same concert 😊 Thank you for continuing to show support and love to John - you really understand how special and gifted he is. Have a great day ❤❤
Just got to say, you made me smile when I turned on the 'puter tonight (my time, Melbourne Australia) to see another Nina Schofield reaction to the always amazing John Farnham. Thank you, and have a great week end.
Thanks for another great reaction,Playing to win,It’s a long way to the top with the MSO . Will blow you away they’re absolutely brilliant.John leaves me with that feeling every time
I watch all your reactions on John and I did see playing to win,I had a memory blank.I’m 74 so I will blame it on that 😀.Please keep reacting to John I look forward to watching more.
You are right Nina. The Farnham band is amazing. You may have noticed, as you have done a few of his songs, the same faces are always there. Most of his friends that are on stage here in the late eighties and early nineties were still performing with him twenty years later. The guitarist "jack jones" aka Erwin Thomas is lead singer in his own band SOUTHERN SONS. He is an amazing singer in his own right and worth a look. His voice is very close to John's in range and power.
Nina, great to see you back enjoying more Farnsey. You have to do his Stevie Wonder cover, Love's In Need. The entire bands vocals will knock you over. Also his 2000 version of Angels, with his back up singer Lisa Edwards. You'll really love his comical side. Lastly, his duet with Olivia Newton John in 1998 of Please Don't Ask Me. Bring ya tissues with ya.
@@grievesy83yes!!! A love that cover. "Let me out" another song he wrote - More of a rock song as well - I think the highest belt I've ever heard him do? Although I can't be sure! Nina will be able to know straight away! 😊 He also got to perform with Ray Charles a while back. I think they sing a couple of songs together including Imagine.
There's a version of "Your'e the Voice" from Firefight Australia when he's in his 70's with Queen's Brian May, Mitch Tambo and briefly Olivia- Newton John which you really should give a listen too. It's interesting to see how well his voice had held up and it's the last time she performed I believe.
So many more epic performances of John's to react to: his cover Led Zeppelin's Black Dog, (audio only but still brilliant), another one: Listen to the Wind. I could go on and on. Enjoying your appreciation of our GOAT & 'The Voice'.
John is so versatile it’s crazy. His voice is just so good. I wish you’d do a reaction to him singing in the Australian cast of Jesus Christ Superstar. The production was amazing.
Great reactions Nina, however you've hardly ventured down the John Farnham rabbit hole yet, more to do 😅 Check out John Farnham and Jimmy Barnes Something is wrong with my baby. It was John's 75th birthday yesterday and after the last couple of horrid years it was great to see photo's of him looking amazing. There are a few vids of John singing when he was 70+ and he still sounded the same, few singers have been so fortunate and whilst we may never hear him again publicly he's singing at home now and he looks happy. I saw the Celine Dion doco, a real John fangirl. I was surprised he was the only artist she featured. John had millions praying for him and if there is truth in the power of prayer Celine will feel the love too.
Hi Nina! I would like your honest opinion on a comparison on the stage performance and audience reaction to Elvis Presley and John Farnham. John was developing his craft when Elvis was soaring in his career; plus they were decades apart.
Thanks Nina for this great reaction. John is the greatest and most versatile male vocalist of all time. This song is epic with everything on display from John’s amazing vocals, the backing vocals and the amazing instrumentals, a really great rock feel to this one. I love John’s improvisation when he sings, just adds in a bit of this and that and switches it up a bit, just incredible musicians. Also Nina I’d love for you to do more John obviously but also would like your reaction to a guy called Brian Justin crum singing the classic Radiohead song “creep” he did it on agt in 2016 and has also recorded it. The agt version I think was better with a lot more passion and emotion in it but the full version was great too. He has a channel on the tube as well. He did the song a little slower a different to the original and I think his version is the best version of all, amazing vocals, incredible range and simply epic breath control, on par with John Farnham or anyone for that matter. Would love your opinion on him. Thanks for a great channel and the love you show our John.
Nina, Nina, Nina. You already reacted to Venetta and Lindsay doing Amazing Grace 8 months ago. I'll go back in my box now. But wait! There's more! Sam Perry solo a capella of "Help" or an original, "Only Attraction" or anything else by him. Stunning vocalist, looper. He won The Voice Australia 2018. His first song "When Doves Cry" left 2 judges on the floor, literally. Anyway apologies for being sooo far behind with your show. Where's my walking stick??
I agree AussiePie 👍 Johns music is for all time. History tends to repeat itself and Johns anthems and pleas for change are very relevant now more than ever. The G.O.A.T. The Voice and his performances will never get old. Love you John 🥰😍
Hi Nina, great video reaction and hope that you are enjoying your summer! ☀☀ Cold day in Melbourne. ⛅⛄ Kinda hoping that Farnsey would give the traffic report at the end of the concert if he was wishing us safe driving. Wouldn't it be funny if he did? Anyway, my suggestion for next video would be 'Everything's Alright' by Kate Ceberano from the much loved show Hey Hey It's Saturday. John Farnham and Jon Stevens (of Noiseworks) sing side roles. The performance includes the cast of the local production of the famous theatrical; and at the end stick around as they all sing a famous American song.
Dear, Nina. How about this one where John introduces his fabulous backing vocalists, Venetta Fields and Lindsay Field singing Amazing Grace... ruclips.net/video/6danLkCJoFI/видео.html ...You probably noticed them in 'You're The Voice' with the MSO. And btw you would look fine through a coke bottle lens.
I have a high level of respect for people in the music industry like nina i coulnt name a musical note even if "my hapiness depended on it "..i knew it back then when i hadmuscic class back in high school it just wasnt for me.....and this is coming from a son of a professional musician.I regret not being able to play the guitar my dad plays many instruments and when i was younger he tried to teach me how to play a guitar but the moment i held the guitar lefthanded he changed his mind.....maybe talent skips a generation i dont know......
Another stellar review of the Legend Nina. You've stacked up an awesome selection fo John's work, but if you're looking for more there are a couple of stand outs that you're still yet to experience. In no particular order - "Burn For You" ( ruclips.net/video/4PPvOhPspEA/видео.html ), "Black Dog" (cover of Led Zepplin and only an audio but will knock your socks off - ruclips.net/video/F2Yi6TVi-sU/видео.html ), "Please Don't Ask Me" (duet with Olivia Newton-John - ruclips.net/video/2uV_tZODfK8/видео.html ) and "Granada" (duet with Anthony Warlow fro the same concert as the Olivia duet - ruclips.net/video/K6uxFKmCXB8/видео.html ). All showcase the versatility and magnificence that is John.
That's only a matter of opinion. It's a great rock song and his vocals are gorgeous. All his songs are fantastic and very hard to choose the best, so let's just hope Nina will get through most over time😊

Whenever john says, this is a dainty one, you know its going to be high energy.

Thanks for watching with me! Yes the band are just brilliant aren’t they.
Dead right Deb
John Farnham has elite vocal gymnastic abilities. A gold olympic games music medal is his many times over !

Fancy a vocalist as good as Jack Johnson (as he was named then) taking a backseat to another vocalist. They were a great backing band for Farnham.
Nina, please! Please! React to Morissette and Regine singing Mariah Carey hits on ASAP Live.. It was absolutely amazing.. thankssss
if you, like guitar solos check out ian moss and all his work. first his georgia on my mind.

have a listen to johns cover of Led zeppelins " Black Dog " it is audio only a warm up for him and his band it will blow you away
Not sure what drew you to this deep cut nina but there have to be atleast 50 better showcases of Johns talent
