Amen, honestly, as a trumpet player, I immediately saved this under a bookmark, as an encouragement for when ever I don't feel like practicing high notes :)
Wow!!! Super job, Lynn!!! What's so amazing is that You still have a nice full and beautiful middle-range sound after blasting out all of those high notes!!! Am sure that playing around all of those "high" mountains will continue to increase Your range... Thanks for this "higher" education on trumpet playing...
When I lived in Colorado, I would head into the mountains and look for some nice natural acoustics. This is an awesome performance, Lynn. Thanks! (Were you getting some harmonics/overtones on that last note?)
pela se fabulos Lynn: Whatsapp a outra think trumpetist Éric Mayashiro? Que pensas a respecto de trompeta Eric Mayashiro? And, Why you no played on the TRIBUTE TO MAYNARD FERGUSON, IN 2012? There was fifty trumpete playing :-( gretings, thank youu. ..
I play a total of 1-2 hours/week, so don't rely very much on the chops at all. However, I can bend steel with my diaphragm, so my range is easily maintained. I don't do any specific exercises, but instead just play music. I do maintain a fairly high level of physical fitness, though, with body fat around 4%, resting pulse in the mid 40s, etc. You may want to watch my newly released "Got High Notes?" that fully explains the playing protocol employed by Maynard Ferguson and myself. The Vimeo links are below the trailer.... :).....
Thank you, Lynn! May you and your loved ones be blessed with a joyful and healthy Christmas.
Lynn - I love your attack !!!
Thanks.... It has been described as explosive..... Don't try that without the MF Protocol... Ha!
哀愁漂うメロディも素敵やし
ハイノートの連続
ダブルハイBを普通に外さずに連発出来るの強すぎる!!!
最後ダブルハイEまで出しとる
Fire Hornsのあつきさんに教えてもらって聴いてますがこの方凄すぎます
しかもこの年齢で衰えることのない凄まじいサウンド!
圧巻です。敬愛してやみません!!
Wow that was so awesome! Now I feel like giving up the trumpet since I have no hope of ever coming anywhere close to that.
Never give up..... Seek happiness in your life, and ALL is possible.....
You and I brother!, I have my trumpet as a flower base now!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤣😂
Again, in a class by yourself. Thanks for the joy you give us.
I love it!!!!! Wow I am sure "The Great I AM" heard that.... Thank you for sharing your talent.
WOW, this is the first I have heard this one. Excellent playing Lynn. I loved it!
Absolutely crazy 👍☺️
Nice! That's probably the cleanest playing in the upper register I have ever heard.

mind blowing awesome!!
Sounds incredible, thanks for sharing.
This ballad would make an excellent B-side to Conquistador!
Lynn, is the photographic work yours also? I've seen your work, they are great!
Yes..... Thanks.... :)

You're the best trumpet player I've ever heard!!!
Got a peg on that final note?? Triple C?
Final note is F above double C
@@Brassman2021 I had to check that on my flute & that's what I got (Eb on a C flute). On trumpet I still can't hit the F below it consistently.
Sounds great. Sandi Patty's "Never Walk Alone" would be a good cover.
good god
Holy shit.

What exercises do you typically do to keep up your range?
