Prisoners have their ear closer to the ground than even most people. They have to. It's in many cases life or death. The privitazation of prisons is another political boil on America's rump.
I was incarcerated 3 different times in 3 different states in multiple facilities and was in more jails than I can count back when I was younger, wild and in the streets fully. Prison is hell for everyone aside from the psychopaths that tend to be the top dogs in most joints. But assault is not just a regular thing even in supermax pens. It's typically a form of punishment and most of the time reserved for certain types of people who commit certain types of crimes or do something inside that gets em in trouble like owing money and not paying, stepping to someone high up in a gang, etc. Most people in most prisons will absolutely respect what Luigi did. Some may try to extort him since he ain't connected and comes from money, but by and large I don't think he'll have too bad of a time and at least for a while may be a bit of a celebrity and may get protection just for that. But, at least for a while, he's gonna be stuck in close security/adseg holding where he'll have minimal interactions with other inmates I'd think. Unfortunately Fox News and the like do get played a lot in facilities that the CO's control what channels are on. They make inmates watch kids shows, Lifetime, Hallmark, or whatever the CO is feeling just to be a little extra cruel. Turn the prisons into museums 🏴
Wow. Maybe someone will do him justice behind bars???? From the supposed “law and order” crowd… It’s a sorry state of affairs that jails are so mismanaged that they can’t prevent prison rape and/or assault/murder… Cruel and unusual punishment is unconstitutional. Remember?
This is social class war! Imagine! Luigi Mangione, from the privileged class - sacrificed his social class, and his life to spark a Proletarian Revolution! ✊🏻✊🏼✊✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿
Luigi should and probably will be looked out by everyone. Not necessarily because of WHAT he did, but WHY he did it. These reporters are either out of touch because they don’t have to worry about healthcare or they are pushing what their masters are telling them to push. I believe it’s both. If we the people benefited from our labor (ex. Once we build the dam now we all get the electricity) there would have been no reason for his actions.
My mom had BCBS health insurance she came down with breast cancer was in and out of chemotherapy treatments and all the while they were nickel and diming her the whole time. She died 5 years ago.
So sorry for your loss. I had BCBS when I came down with breast cancer (for the third time); they repeatedly denied diagnostic tests, so I had to fight cancer and BCBS at the same time. Luckily I was able to eventually drop them and sign up with my spouse's corporate insurance and I finally received treatment 6 months after the initial tumor was found. I was told this was par for the course, and that cancers often advance one stage (like mine did) while patients are busy fighting their insurance companies. For-profit "healthcare" is brutal, immoral and it must be stopped.

@nothinghappens9811 there are medications to ease people off high dose opiates in days, painlessly. There's no reason why pain treatment has to be such a threat of misery. It's clonidine and something else. I was on high dose morphine and Dilaudid for 2 years following a long hospitalization. I wanted to stop taking it. They had me completely off it in 4 days. I just slept through it. No cramps, chills, GI symptoms, just sleepiness. They know how to do it. They usually just don't. It's so cruel. You should be able to get pain treatment for your EDS without fear of painful withdrawals.

There might be people in there who appreciate what he did, but there will be others who look for a way to exploit him. It's not going to be easy or safe in there for him.
It’s ALMOST as if those in prison are PEOPLE with an understanding of society as well. Who could imagine that??!
*IM A 54 YEAR OLD EUROPEAN* let me tell you the worst medical horror story from the people I have known over the last 54 years of my life - my brother-in-law once had to wait *3 WEEKS* for a doctor's appointment...!!!
Thats not a joke - he once has to wait 3 weeks, the doctors was short-staffed after the pandemic. My point is, this is genuinely the WORST medical story I have after 54 years of life.
I have to wait weeks for appointments all the time in the US. Sometimes a month.
ya its like that here in the us all year round every year. all of my doctor's at the moment have 1-2 month backlogs and i was on a 4 1/2 month wait for a cancer screening recently (was negative thankfully)
Genx here. It's nice to see the second amendment working for us for a change
Prisoners have their ear closer to the ground than even most people. They have to. It's in many cases life or death.
The privitazation of prisons is another political boil on America's rump.
Damn, Emma. Way to pinpoint the core problem. I wasn’t even thinking about how they equate “prison justice” as part of the punishment.
Jesse Watters really thought there were CEO lovers in genpop who would avenge them 😂
I was incarcerated 3 different times in 3 different states in multiple facilities and was in more jails than I can count back when I was younger, wild and in the streets fully.
Yes! Sorry for your hard times. Thx for explaining the realities.
Amen, and thank you. Too many people have no idea.
Biden should say f it and pardon lugi
He can't.
Unfortunately he really can't, the charges are state charges not federal.
I do understand that, and maybe they should bump up the charges js...
@@rubymeaddlewell he used a ghost gun which owning is a federal offense
@@white_isnt_a_race2338 pardoning him for that isn't gonna get him out of a New York courtroom for murder
Wow. Maybe someone will do him justice behind bars????
From the supposed “law and order” crowd…
It’s a sorry state of affairs that jails are so mismanaged that they can’t prevent prison rape and/or assault/murder…
Cruel and unusual punishment is unconstitutional. Remember?
Luigi will be protected when they find out what he's in for. Even prisoners understand he's the good guy. lol
“This is a fight, this is not a disagreement.” 🥇
This is social class war! Imagine! Luigi Mangione, from the privileged class - sacrificed his social class, and his life to spark a Proletarian Revolution! ✊🏻✊🏼✊✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿
Luigu will be fine...jury trial!
❤
The ownership of people in the U.S. never ended... What do you think prisons mean by "forced labor" program?
My mom had BCBS health insurance she came down with breast cancer was in and out of chemotherapy treatments and all the while they were nickel and diming her the whole time.
She died 5 years ago.
Infinite love for you and the family. Here's to the reformative future we're hopefully seeing the beginning of now.
I'm so sorry. May they ALL pay.
Now they've arrested someone for saying "Deny, Defend, Depose".
It's like they've never heard of the Streisand effect.
"Deny, Defend, Depose"!
Free Luigi Mangione! Free Briana Boston! Jury nullification!
Watters wasn't talking about r*pe. He was talking about m*rder.
This fucking censorship bullshit is ridiculous
It sounded to me like he was talking about both, and perking himself off under the table while doing so, most likely.
Does Wattter even have a coherent thought
If you are busy carrying their water, who will carry yours?
who in a prison would kill someone for killing a health insurance CEO
Doctors caused rhe opioid epidemic and blamed it on weed lol
You spelled Big Pharma wrong.
Now people with chronic pain are getting punished for it 🥲
Sackler family used them as their pushers.
For real, I would be dead right now if I chose opioid medication over weed. I have EDS so my body is falling apart, but hell. I'd rather be high all the time than going through painful withdrawals or ODing.
Luigi is gonna be a "winner" in prison.
What? Lol why quotes? He will probably get amazing treatment
Absolutely! He's a real one
The creed that guy is going to have in prison.
Their arms will be wide open.
Wait is it ok to encourage SA now?
Wtf is this
Prisoners don’t need encouragement for that 😂
Insane.
I think the FBI needs to look at Jessie watters hard drives 😭
I mean Waters wasn’t even justifying r***, he was justifying extra-judicial m***** in response to extra-judicial m*****, which is, indeed, one of the arguments of all time…
Hasn't that always been okay against prisoners?
I am 79 and not worried about health care and I think Luigi did Americans a service. In the Bhagavad Gita Arjuna is upset about having to be at war and kill his evil relatives. Arjuna is despondent and seeks the wisdom of Krishna who more or less tells Arjuna not to worry that is your duty, ...you are doing the right thing in the great scheme of karma and past and future lives.
As a Hindu I'm impressed with, and applaud your accurate Gita knowledge.
Actually I think it's a war now. Luigi Mangione fired the first shot.
Image-search "saint Luigi patron saint of healthcare"
😂😂😂
My honesty about this allowed a room full of Gen z folks to open up about their own healthcare issues. By the end I had all these old ladies straight admitting they hope Luigi gets away. I was like Right on!!
That sounds like a threat to me. Why isn't he in jail.
He's in the owning class. He'd have to knockoff a bus load of nuns to catch any official justice.
Luigi allegedly killed one guy . That CEO was the head of an organisation that measured their success by killing thousands and making tens of thousands live in misery .
I would not be surprised if newsnation did have a contract to be in prisons. I never saw them until I was a kid in the military, that was all they played in the USO in Okinawa. I honestly thought it was Military State News for a long time (during bush 2).
Perhaps there’s a shell casing out there with Jesse Water’s name on it, too??!!?? 😀☺️😅😂😉
😄
Yes 🤣
Who wouldn’t rather be in a cell ALONE in prison? Why would you want to be sharing a cell with another inmate?
Sheer boredom
@ 1. Your comment is further proof that Extroverts are needy idiots. 2. It’s prison. What kind of excitement are you expecting? 🤡
Yeah, I'd be requesting solitary from the get-go
As someone who lost their career due to medical malpractice and negligence, i know how i feel
What he did, did rock. How many live did that CEO ruin by his greedily denying care for those who were entitled to recieve it? That's sociopathic. That dude had it coming.

🇺🇸 BASTILE DAY is coming!
I'm no kid I'm 80 I'm all in
Jesse needs to take a seat
Jesse was projecting again 😂
Insurance companies play games with asthma medication - they constantly switch up which inhalers they'll cover, which leaves patients and doctors scrambling to get a refill on time
"You should stop there" lol cant get enough of that
I served some time when I was 20 and I can tell you, without a doubt, inmates will highly respect this guy, as well as guards. Getting on insurance after being inside one of these places is hell and more stress you don't need. It's hard enough finding a job.
Jessie is so jelly
Luigi United The Country.
*Power to the people.*

🇺🇸 BASTILE DAY is coming!
Down with AIPAC and the Khazar Zionist Mafia!
In a vacuum if there was a person who directly made decisions that led to thousands of people dying preventatively, would it be justified in deleting this person if the justice system was not an option? I think you know the answer.
I'm 70. I hate insurance companies.
It's not just the younger generations.
It's not just millennials and Gen Z. I am Gen X, and having worked all summer long on the Harris and Baldwin campaigns, I can assure you that many more baby boomers are on board, as well.
They want to give him the death penalty? People have lived on worse charges. Theyre acared shitless
Emma may be the single most talented person on the left at summarizing things, and not leaving out the significance of these events for the black and marginalized communities. So many "left" leaning channels I see on youtube never get that deep and she does it effortlessly. Rare to see from non-black channels for me.
Jessie Watters cheering the idea of inmates assaulting Luigi. Laughing and smiling about abuse allowed in prisons. What an amoral and gross psychopath.
Pardon Luigi Mangione?
78 years old and been down that dusty road with deny, delay with United Healthcare. I don't agree with murder. However, I truly understand and have empathy. In fact, I'm grateful for this young actions that that all the attention to the bottom feeder insurance industr
He'll be fine in prison. Italian's take care of their family.
All of the families and races would have his back. They don't have him in solitary to keep him safe. They have him there because he would get all of the gangs to come together against the big gang in blue.
Pretty sure it was a call for murder the only gay joke he threw was at his co host rewind the tape
Yeah I was confused lol
1:04 Sometimes Matt has the worst takes. Rape in prison (or anywhere) isn't leaving you with "nothing to worry about" and if you're suffering from chronic pain, it's especially not worry free. Rape anywhere is a control tactic, not based on attraction.
Making money out of ill fated people, who are in poor health and poor personal situation, is in general very bad. That make that group a very evil group.
Luigi will be a hero in prison.
Gen X loves Luigi
Emma! You are killing it ❤
the guy should get a medal
I imagine he'll get respect from the other people in the jail
Which Americans cried for Osama when they got him
i did not shed a single tear
Prisons are NOT there to rehabilitate people. Get real.
