I mean it's ok, I don't expect if these selling well. The self cleaning filter was hoovers thing like the Windtunnel 2 and the Z400/700 and we now how well they turn out. I definitely much prefer the bagged versions over this anyday.

Pretty good for a bagless vacuum. You'd just have to give the bin a cleaning every six months to a year maybe at most depending how much it's used.

Challenge accepted. I can fill a 1 quarts (~1 liter) vacuum bin in about a week. I probable should have bought a vacuum with a 3 quart bin. Pets are hell on vacuum cleaners.
How large is the canister on the Miele?

      @@jTempVids I don't have a Miele.

I like my blizzard but wish it was more compact more the size of a c3. I think it's easy to clean out easier than a Dyson.

You can now no longer use power nozzles only turbo heads. Who’s turbo head are you going to choose

This is my second replacement Miele CX1 Blizzard Cat and Dog vacuum and I noticed on my first unit and replacement units that they seem to leak/ let dust escape from the bin itself when the vacuum is up right and placed on the floor. If you tap it or shake it a bit I’ve noticed large debris around the bin that have fallen to the ground around the bin area. Also, I have a concern with the air blowing out of the side versus straight up as this disturbs all the dirt that is on the ground pushing it up into the air and behind furniture defeating the purpose of cleaning. Let me know if anyone else who owns this vacuum has the same issue?

Why didn't you just get a proven bagged version?

I have had none of these issues. 2 dogs. Best vacuum you can buy. My first and only is 8 years old and works perfectly. Don't forget to clean the filter in the back of the bin part

Great review as always. I actually like the 'mis-matched' colors better. Looks like a BMW.

I think going bagless is a bad idea. Just buy bagged cleaner its quieter and more powerful.

NFC idea Miele's really trying to push with this canister

Do they make these with powerheads?

I don't like these one bit as they seem to lose their suction quite easily. The filter system seems really clunky. I'm sticking with the C3.

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  5 лет назад

It definitely is clunky in the world of difference between the c3

They don't ever lose suction. Mine is 8 years old and works like new

Blowing the dust out of the bin and straight back into the lungs...good idea. 👍

The On'Off button and cord rewind buttons are poorly designed and/or poorly placed and should be changed or moved elsewhere on the unit. While vacuuming, and as the hose moves here and there over the unit itself, the hose will often HIT the top of the On/Off button or else the Cord Rewind button. So often, while I'm in the middle of vacuuming, the unit will turn Off or else the cord will start to Rewind. Not good.
The problem is not just the placement of the buttons, but the fact that they PROTRUDE out. If these buttons were more FLUSH with the unit...if the buttons were more FLAT vs protruding, this would be less of an issue.

I would think that anyone that has ever used a Miele would never choose this model. Life is so easy when all you need to do is toss out the bag and change the filters when required. Bagless is so messy. Not sure why Dyson is still trying to convince the world their technology is superior.

Hated the Dyson, so bulky, it's a hassle to change to the the hard floor attachment.

So, better to add more to the landfills than be bothered having to clean the bin and filter because it's messy. Got it!

8 years, still works like I brought it yesterday, and not one cent spent on it since. Quicker to clean and maintain than spend all that time and money buying bags and filters.

The perfect vacuum if you are too much of a Scrooge for owning a bagged vacuum
