Is it true that the Pure Suction's Hygiene filter doesn't have to be replaced because it is washable, unlike the HEPA filter, which you'd need to replace once it accumulates enough dirt?

    Do they have washable filters?

@gogigp Here are the instructions from Miele in regards to the filters that are washable for these models:
      - Fine dust filter: do not clean the inside of the fine dust filter. Rinse the outside under running cold water. Do not use soap. Do not use any sharp or pointed objects and do not brush the fine dust filter. After cleaning, leave the fine dust filter to dry for a minimum of 24 hours before placing it back in the fine dust container.
      - Pre-filter / filter frame: clean these parts under running cold water. Do not use soap. Do not use any sharp or pointed objects. Dry these parts carefully after cleaning.

@@abtelectronics thnx for reply. This goes for the cheapest model or for all? Do some models have self-cleaning filter... Which users don't grade too high or maybe I confused Miele with some Bosch models:)

Oh My God!!! I am furious with Miele, I’ve just discovered that the hepa filter sits inside the machine, that you can’t take out because it’s on top of the motor! They are $280 (au) to replace (only the price of the whole replacement unit not including paying someone to fix it) so that when, after a couple of years of use, you have to throw the stinking thing away because they don’t make it so it is easily replaced! Stinks! Ours is the Blizzard CX1 Dog and Cat Powerline. I just made ours smell better by turning it on and spraying Glen20 down the spout. But why specify something for dogs and cats when you can’t change the Hepa filter. Stupid Miele engineers!

They probably have few filters, that one is protecting the motor maybe and it's not removable as other. Yeah, o hear you, I hate when manufacturers do this, you spent money on filters instead bags. They want it that way.
PS. Miele is arrogant, they usually say that real, the best vacuum cleaners are theirs with bag. They can't make same durable and strong bagless obviously. They should contact Dyson for engineering advice
