    A full demonstration will follow in a few days.

    Glad you like yours (by the looks of it)! Mine isn't a bad machine, love the suction and build quality. I'll be contacting AO about my wand problem. Can't wait to see how dirty your filter gets, mine got quite dirty quickly. Maybe the cyclone didn't work well since the long hair and stuff got wrapped around it, I presume.

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  7 лет назад +1

      The pleated filter didn't get super dirty, even after picking up a load of mess, but the dirt wraps around the inner shroud. In normal use providing you don't go pass the max fill line I think it will be fine. My wand is OK, so you must have got a faulty one.

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861 7 лет назад +1

      Gdgd, I'll be contacting AO about my wand. I've cleaned my vacuum out since my demo and used it for a few days, the filter still got dusty but nothing too bad. Does your wand click as you extend it btw? Mine doesn't

  • @hawkeyeNL783

    Quick question. Will a 2400 watt vacuum cleaner trip my power? Will my power fluctuate when and I use it? And also what can I expect my power bill to be, straight to the top or moderate?
    I'm trying to replace my VC with a baggie one. I have a small house to clean, not much to clean really. But do you think a 1000 watt VC will do the job just well if I do get to replace my bagless with a baggie one or the one you just showed.
    Although tbh, bagless are a lot of mess to clean, every now and again.

    Roger, the filter container twists out, the instructions say to pour water through the inlet and shake, then twist the lid and empty. It really is a good system, I've found it does seem to eliminate the dust cloud

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  7 лет назад +5

      Yes, I've read the instructions since unboxing it and discovered that. I will be mentioning maintenance in the demo, but I will probably do a seperate video on how to clean the filter etc.

    I'm wondering if one can order a powerhead (like the 236) for the Blizzard? I don't like turbos or straight suction but I sure like the bagless feature of this machine! THX very much for the reviews Ibaisaic !

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  6 лет назад +1

      You will only be able to fit a powerhead to the Blizzard if it came with one as standard as there is no power take off socket on this version. A Powerhead version is available in Germany, Canada and the USA soon I believe.

    Hi Rodger.great video as usual,do you think their is much difference in the electro brush and the turbo brush performance??

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  7 лет назад +2

      Turbo brushes rely on the suction of the vacuum and tend to slow down as the suction drops or when used on certain carpets. A motorised brush will always be better as it stays at a constant speed, no matter what the suction power is.

    • @cheekyfacemurf1565

      ibaisaic I though it would be,...it's very difficult to get and electric brush vacuum cleaner here in Dublin,it makes perfect sense for complete comfort and better cleaning performance:-))

    You should do a video of comparing this to a dyson canister machine and see which one is better. Too bad that a bag less Miele had never existed here in the USA.

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  7 лет назад +1

      The USA will be getting the bagless Miele later this year aparently and may have a powered head option.

  • @matthewfelix1851
    @matthewfelix1851 6 лет назад +1

    Everyone obviously can have their opinion and say that Dyson is better or even say other brands are better (which is actually ridiculous) as Miele has a great heritage. They are leading in quality with all their appliances and are tested to work 20 years. Other brands don't care about stuff like this, nor have a heritage. Dyson at least is doing innovative stuff and they are constantly improving the quality, which places them on 2nd place, right after Miele.

    The red one costs £489.00 at Argos but doesn't have the control panel on the tube? But it does have the rotating brush bar but I want the digital handle 🤔 I have an upright Miele (black) which is fantastic .. such a shame they don't sell them anymore in the UK 😭

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  Год назад +1

      You would need to buy the Comfort model if you want the handle controls and a separate turbo brush.

  • @LlyleHunter
    @LlyleHunter 7 лет назад +1

    Congratulations. I'm so happy that you've received it gratis. Your good reputation has earned you a few perks. Don't fret about the dusting brush not being attached as it is on the other variant. I see a design flaw in having it attached to the hose end in that you can't detach the brush to attach it to the end of the wand if you want to clean up high. Perhaps you can get a wand clip like Sebo has and if it has room for two tools you can also place the Universal Dusting shelf brush as well. I'm disappointed that ever since the C1 series debuted Miele has offered models where the combination tool is without a metal sole plate. I can't wait to see your review and hear your thoughts on this machine. It hasn't arrived in the states yet but I'm considering one in the future to keep costs down.

    • @ibaisaic

      I got this free from ao.com, but not because I have this channel, as anyone can apply to get a free product in exchange for a written and video review. I like this Miele so far and used it extensively in my Mum's house on Sunday, but it is a large beast and not the most convenient to use, especially when compared to a bagged Miele.

    • @LlyleHunter

      It's true. If it was level on top it could serve as a cocktail table.

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  7 лет назад +3

      I used to have an egg shaped vacuum that could be fitted with a glass top to convert it into a table. There was also a vacuum made of wood called a tablevac that stored all the tools inside.

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  7 лет назад

      Yes, according to the label it has the same emissions as a bagged Miele, though there will be more exposure to the dirt when it's emptied.

  • @susantilbey4950

    When you said it was hard to push the nozzle on the carpet, are you sure you have got it on the right setting? It sounds like you have the brushes out, I can hear brush noises!

    Still can't get my head around Miele making a bagless vacuum cleaner, a tad like Eastenders being on ITV, just odd. Love the remote control option , although I'm not impressed overall . Hopefully after your demo I might change my opinion. Thanks Roger for the unboxing & reveal 👍

    That's a bit unfortunate that they spent so much time and effort on an innovative bagless vac design but could not figure out how to store the little dusting brush on board. I mean really now...how difficult could it be to carve out a slot for the crevice tool somewhere else on the body (a la Sebo) and give one "ramp" on the back to the little round brush?

    • @vacuumtests9225

      According to the Miele they decided to use single cyclone system, because it's more efficient and silent. Multi cyclonic vacuums tend to be very noisy and have poor airflow.

    Miele USA told me today that US sales are "over a year away" 😥.

  • @thetechiesworld
    @thetechiesworld 7 лет назад +1

    The Comfort Clean feature kinda resembles the "self-cleaning" HEPA filter Hoover USA introduced with the WindTunnel 2 bagless upright; the filter constantly rotated and would clean itself "every six seconds" with the dust and dirt falling into the dust cup. But from my understanding, it didn't work all that well and the filter always clogged. It would be interesting to see if Miele's system is any better. And also, I wonder if the newer carpet nozzles would be easier to push if they had metal baseplates, instead of plastic.
