Just bought this cleaner for my Grandmother as a present, as her 25 year old Philips vacuum is on its last legs. The floor heads and the machine as a whole seems really well designed, I'm sure she'll love it
I'm impressed. You are obviously very knowledgeable about the whole lineup. These explanations on the different options, how the systems works, advice for best usages, etc. this was by far the best quality unboxing video I've seen!
that was an excellent video. thank you very much for sharing the unboxing and assembly plus all the on board attachments and the parking system notches, both on the end and the sides. very well done and appreciated!
Fantastic, thorough review - thank you! My trusty 17 year old Dyson DC08 blew its second motor last night and I need a replacement vacuum cleaner. The current Dysons leave much to be desired (in my opinion) so it looks like I will be opting for this model Miele. Obviously lots of people are - my local stores are all sold out! Thanks again.
I have this model and I swear by Miele. However, bulky to carry around and very fatigued after using it most days, but it is pretty much the best and toughest for cleaning houses. We also have a shark, corded upright, which is great because with that dual clean head but still not as powerful as the C3. Great review.
Hi Roger, thanks for the great video! I have also seen your Sebo E3 premium boost video. I can’t decide between Miele c3 complete cats and dogs and Sebo e3 premium. My main concern is the ease of use with Sebo that you mentioned. Is Miele more comfortable to use overall?
I’m looking for a good vacuum cleaner, I have two dogs who sheds like crazy and two cats. Is this Miele c3 pets worth the money in my case? Do you have another model that is suitable? Thank you
Thanks for a great video. I tried one in an experience store the other day and whilst I think it’s a brilliant machine, the brush was impossible to push and pull even on low settings. I tried at different levels and just couldn’t get on with it - perhaps I’m a real weed in terms of strength but that kind of put me off it. Is there a ‘secret’ to making the push/pull less hard work?
That’s interesting because the American version comes with an electric floor head instead of an air driven one, but the air driven seems to work ok. It’s also surprisingly quiet, so maybe it’s bogging down on the carpet and not working as it should? I can’t tell how thick the carpet is through the camera though. Do people in the uk have thin carpets and the turbo head works good enough? Why wouldn’t they include an electric one like in the US? Do the electric ones only come with higher models? A turbo head can’t possibly be as good as an electric driven nozzle, unless the carpet is really thin. It’s also white and not black, not that color is a big deal but still
Great demo as always Roger. Have been looking for a replacement for our much loved but aging Miele s7, and this seems a good contender, but not convinced by the suction-driven beater brush... 🤔 OK at first, but soon gets clogged. Shame they don't make the s7 any more. There's not a bagged upright on the market that comes close IMHO.
It was the EU that lowered the wattage of vacuum cleaners. Let’s hope that Australia doesn’t join the EU. I know Australia isn’t in Europe, but they let Australia compete in the Eurovision Song Contest.
@@ibaisaicNot so true anymore, the 2000 watt version went on sale during December, and it looks like it's being replaced by the EcoLine 890 watt version in Australia.
As much as I tried, I simply cannot like this model. It's bulky, quite heavy. Onboard tools are great, good suction, not loud but it's not enough for me.. What annoyed me the most when I had it was that on multiple occasions I was smacking controls with the hose resulting in changing suction, rectracting the cable or even turning off the machine. The lid can also sometimes be hard to close. I'd be nice if they came out with a new model with onboard tools instead of just new colours of existing models.

Interesting video Miele are good machines. would like to see a Siemens vacuum cleaner review. Have had my Q5 for almost 10 years and I am very satisfied, the siemens bags are outstanding. the higher-quality Siemens are still made in Germany.
@@ibaisaic I just found it in the box of new bags! Thanks so much for your reply and a great video. I am new purchaser of the machine hope it goes well.
As much as I love my Canadian Miele C3 CleanAir, I would much prefer standard large wheels on the rear. I find that on a bare floor, the canister will not roll over the cord that is laying on the floor….I am forced to go back and pick up the canister off the floor in order to keep it rolling. Never had that problem with other canister cleaners which have the usual large rear wheels. Something that Miele should work on solving.
@@ibaisaic I have the non cat and dog version of this, same colour and everything. It has the air clean filter instead of the charcoal one. Can I put the charcoal filter in there instead of the air clean one?
Still don’t understand why it’s promoted for ‘cat & dog’. Is it just a powerful suction issue or is there more to it? Pity the video didn’t show dog hair being hoovered.
Cat and dog refers to the inclusion of two turbo nozzles for pet hair pick up. This cleaner picks up pet hair very well, though you do have to clean the brushes manually as there is no anti hair wrap feature. I normally demonstrate pet hair pick up but I wasn’t filming at home and didn’t have any hair to use for the demo.
Hello Lidl has a parkside wet n dry vac for £40 thisThurs 15th Sep, I was disappointed I thought it would wash the carpet but it only sucks up water. Maybe one for a review?

It's mains powered, tools onboard.. it is a winner! and importantly has Daisy's wag of approval 😃
I just bought miele c1 powerline used 500 kroner is about 50 dollars like new very happy to have this vaccum cheap
Thank you a very good demonstation.I replaced my 2o yr old S620 .... machine still working well but the casting fell apart.I blieve in Miele .

The Miele is more comfortable to use but the Sebo wins hands down for carpet cleaning performance.
I ended up buying it and I absolutely love it! I have been hoovering more than ever 😂 Can I ask if the turbo brush can be used on hard floor too?
What a brilliant and thorough review. You've sold me - I'm going to order one right now!

I’ve the black one but I don’t think it’s a dog and cat one but it’s great suction brilliant performance
How do I take off the white plastic cap on the end of the hose so I can click on the handle?
What's this like on thick carpet? Im replacing my old Dyson as I can't move it on my new thick long pile carpet! Thanks.

No there’s no secret, you just have to lower the suction or use the turbo head that’s easier to push.
I'd like to know how well does the AllTeQ Combination tool work on carpet? You only demo'd it on a hard floor. Thank you and yes, great video!
Ibaisaic can you review a Phillips vacuum please
Great video as always mate

They stopped selling models with electric heads in the EU. Even the ones you could upgrade in the future.

Hi! Love your videos!
How does this compare to the Thomas vacuum you were testing earlier? I know that Miele is better but i want to get a point of reference in how do they compare.
Thank you.
As a regular vacuum cleaner it is far superior to the Thomas but obviously doesn’t have the multi functions of the Thomas.
@@ibaisaic Far superior in what ways? Better suction, better heads, what qualities make it far superior?
Lighter, more compact, easier to use, better performance, easier to buy bags and additional tools, quieter.

Are these or the shark range better?
These are mulch better than shark.
I have got this model but I prefer to use the base line model the C1, because the C3 is to heavy and large

Do you need to replace the pre motor filter? And if so, how often please?
You normally get a pre motor filter in a box of four genuine bags, so you could just fit the new filter after the fourth bag has been filled.

You’re not supposed to roll a vacuum over the cord. Many instruction books tell you not to do this.
