  • Final Fantasy 8 has always been infamous for being fun when players "break" the game via its Junction system. In this video, I explain what makes this game easy, if players choose to not level up.

I'm very confuse. I get the Junction part but I don't understand how did you not get experience? Or at least, how that part works.

Ah, it’s because in the game, the player only gets experience if they fight normal enemies.
And you can avoid fighting any of them throughout the entire game. (But there are some normal fights you “have” to do, but those can be “cheesed” to not get exp).
And it’s also because boss fights don’t give any experience too.
So if a player plays a specific way, they could actually finish the game without leveling up at all.

@@theindoorowl7637 Ah. That's quite a strange and interesting mechanic. I don't know who or why they made the game the way it is but it makes the game more enjoyable and wacky. Will give it a try.

Noiceeee, hope you'll enjoy Final Fantasy 8. Cause once you get used to the system, it's always fun to try and see how strong you can get xD
