Of course it doesn't take long to look it up and figure it out cards are the most important feature in the game but takes time and can sometimes be a pain in the ass with the card rules but there's ways to abolish the bad rules but it can be time consuming and takes effort just look it up

All in the way you play. You can just avoid 50% of the games mechanics and still make it through the game with no problem lol. But trying to understand everything is definitely a mission. Thanks for your comment!
@@TomVsGaming Yeah, I am struggling to "want" to finish this game I started. I wanted to have a good time, not a homework assignment. Also the "draw" command means I am constantly trying to max each item to 99 for EACH character instead of just enjoying to freakin fights. FF8 is the worst FF game for me so far.
I play the trying to card everything and taking the magic I can. GF level up with the AP, the cards all eventually turn into something useful, the magic bumps your stats and the monsters stay low level because you do. Its a nice grinding cake-walk lol
Gf don't level up with AP you actually gotta kill stuff for your gf to get experience to boost it's level it still gets ap yes also there are ways you can level up your gfs to max level without leveling your players first time is when seifer joins your party in dollet and the second time is when edea joins your party at esthar all you do is kill off your team and put one gf on each party member even though your party is dead the gfs will still get experience and you do this because if you put all your gfs on one character they will split experience points so it's best to have it evenly so it takes less time then you just kill enemies til all your gfs have leveled up you can also get ga magic and other stuff only high level monsters drop like at the dollet mission you can fight the anacondours for dragon skin at a high level and use it for zells ultimate weapon without leveling your party your gfs should max out at around 63 with seifer also you can always go back to start of the mission and save your game so if you get bored or got something to do you can just save and come back later and finish it
Why not? I can understand not doing things right from the start to break the game but when it comes to preparing for boss fights etc it's always good to know how to grind efficiently
@@TomVsGaming i wrote the comment after tip one about infinite money. Whilst it’s not cheating it’s not really in the spirit of how the game was supposed to be played. Your first tip to new players was basically “make the monetary aspect of the game pointless” which isn’t a good experience for new players in my opinion. Other than that, good list 🙌🏻

Find the Queen of Cards again! Keep trying to play cards until the trade rule turns to all and it should then spread to the region!

I’m familiar with the reasons supporting low level playthroughs, but i had no idea level scaling was only affected by active party

To be fair though... gil in this game is absolutely useless 😂. At least until endgame when you unlock the last of the GF abilities for stat maxing
