I found your youtube today -- thank you for such a simple pattern with super clear instructions! I am a long term knitter and was looking for some help with a fair isle pattern when I stumbled across this. I will be using this pattern for some Christmas gifts.

Hi thank you for your comment. Do you have an interchangeable needles? If so just hold stitch and change, but if you worry about the other side, you should use the stopper, something like that......, Good luck and Enjoy knitting!

I just knit off the old needle and on to the new size when I have to change sizes.

This was a small size, depends on your gauge though
