It's always exciting to find out if I'm a woman today. I'm a cis woman with PCOS and terf definitions exclude me like, 40% of the time. Perhaps I was actually gender fluid all along.
The ones doing it to Daniel Radcliffe's partner rn are extremely funny to me, one of their main argument being she's taller than him, but like DR's only 5'5" XD like half of all women are trans now, sorry sweaty 😭😭🤣🤣
The fact they don’t know who JK Rowling is is honestly baffling. I don’t even follow Harry Potter stuff (for obvious reasons) and her face still shows up in all sorts of articles, especially ones related to trans things.
@@malevolentsnow9867 the funny part is a lot of them do know, the wacko transvestigation types have a conspiracy that most of the famous elite are secretly trans people who transitioned before rising into the spotlight. It's totally wacko, but I have seen it
I do femboy content in Instagram, as a trans boy and trans phobic people somehow always assume that I'm a trans women and they comment stuff like "YOU WILL ALWAYS BE A BOY" "LOOK AT YOUR MASCULINE FACE" and it's so freckling hilarious. Like seriously I have he/him pronouns in my bio and they still don't get that yeah I'm a dude and I know dressing in cute skirts will not make me less of a man 😂😂😂
If that's you in the profile you look amazing! I love that femboys feel and know that they're cute af when they wear skirts because I've always had dysphoria around wearing one so seeing others wear them and enjoy doing so heals me inside a bit. Stay awesome :)
Yeah that's me!! Thank you! I still get dysphoria sometimes but never because I don't feel manly enough in those cloth bur rather because people are being dumb about it. But it really helps a lot in accepting that I do like those cloth and being a boy won't stop me from wearing them. I'm really glad that those who express their identify similar to me help you feel good! You are awesome. Have a nice day ^^
Yeah, the people who are tho most rigid in their gender norms and the least accepting of anyone who does not exactly conform to those gender norms are the ones who scream the loudest about trans people. I don't get it.
A TERF actually said this to me and one of my friends at a competition we were competing in, so we had to wear makeup for performance purposes. “You are taking away women’s rights by pretending all a woman is is long hair and makeup. You are men and you need to respect nature and act like it. You don’t get to choose your gender. A woman is born female and just because you make your voices high and grow out your hair doesn’t mean you’re women.” She was right, long hair and makeup don’t make you a woman. Also, we are both trans men.
She is right though. About women being female and women being more than just a costume that a male can wear and become a woman (example: Dylan Mulvaney, who is just playing an act that he scammed a lot of people into believing)
I've had a rabid transphobe online make some very explicit comments about what they assume my genitalia look like and how it "doesn't work". My response was, "Mine works fine. Just ask your mom."
terfs are some of the biggest fucking misogynists in the world lol. the only women they actually care about are their fellow terfs. this is evidenced by the fact that they call women who aren't transphobes "handmaidens" and basically accuse them of also being violent and invading "womens spaces" for having the audacity to not be freaked out by the idea of trans women existing. (this accusation is most commonly levied at afab lesbians who either have a transfem partner or just support trans rights)
i was at the protest at 11:54 with my partner (both of us are trans) and it was such a lovely thing watching posie parker just stand there without a microphone as if anyone could hear her at all over all the screaming from the protesters. i was so happy so many people there were supporters and it was honestly shocking how many transphobes travelled across the uk to come see posie parker and they came to BRIGHTON OF ALL PLACES??
It's the moment in NZ when a woman shouts 'call yourself a feminist' and Parker replied 'I'm not a feminist'. Love it when they shay the quiet part out loud.
(For context I'm a trans guy) The best thing a TERF told me once is "How do you just wake up one morning and decide to be a woman? That's not how it works." And I just. Yeah, you're right Karen, I won't be a woman. Thanks for setting me straight!
We don't mind how many bodyparts you want to sacrifice to your gendergod, but you insist on penetrating female spaces. Why don't you fight for your own rights, instead of taking other peoples rights? Is it part of the perversion or powertrip?
Love the lady with the dog in the end! She handled that well. I hope the psycho at the other table didn't throw off her vibes for the rest of the day. If I had seen that happening in public, I would have asked if I could join her and her pup.
Seconded. I'm a Trans Guy who (as I realized recently) now has Cis-passing Privilege, and I would have been more than happy to ask if she was okay and if she needed some better company than some TERF spouting hatred. We Keep Us Safe, Comrades - Stay safe and stay strapped.
I just wanted to say not all moms piss themselves either. I'm in my 30s and I have 3 kids that I delivered naturally and I make through laugh sessions and jumping on trampolines with my kids without pissing myself. This isn't the flex she thinks it is.
yeah also lots of cis women have problems incontinence without ever being pregnant. and i'm pretty sure it can happen to men too?? it's a bit silly to brag about
yeah, that lady bragging about pissing herself isnt upsetting people the way she wants to, she's making people upset in the same way people get upset at seeing blood. it's disturbing and she needs help.
The fact that some women experience long term post partum complications is not an indictment of trans people, it's an indictment of the healthcare system. And fixing the broken American healthcare system would help all of the above groups.
I'm NB and if someone came up to me telling me that they p!ss themself, OF COURSE IM GOING TO BE UNCOMFORTABLE!! Any NORMAL and REASONABLE person would be.
Maybe it’s just me but I think such behavior is the main reason why nobody likes radical “feminists” (they don’t deserve to be called feminists). Like, they’re casually talking about other people’s private parts (aka “holes” as we know now 😂) or pissing themselves. That’s too explicit for me. I don’t know any queer or/and trans person who would talk about such private stuff when nobody even asked about it.
Yeah, as someone who has urge incontinence... Its not rly smth i go out of my way to tell ppl first thing, unless its actually relevant; and i nvr tell ppl by sayin "I piss myself uncontrollably!" at them xD Usually it just comes up in convo eventually, oft by me makin a jokey remark about it when someone is lookin for a bathroom xD (Usually just "Ive got a spare diaper if ya want" or similar)
My first thought about the mom who pisses herself is to want to tell her to talk to her doctor because that sounds uncomfortable. It's wild to me that she sees that as owning trans women or whatever. Who WANTS to piss themselves uncontrollably whenever they laugh or jump on a trampoline?!
Do you rly want the answer to that question at the end of your comment? Cuz trust me, whenevs you ask "who wud want to ?"; theres always gonna be some ppl who are into it, maybe even as a kink thing
It's actually quite sad how many older women just didn't have access to knowledge and best care in terms of their reproductive health and instead of being mad at that and using it as fuel to start learning now or to make other people's experiences better, they just bottle it up and then blame anyone that is loving themself whilst being a woman for all of their unfortunate experiences. There's definitely some internalised misogyny going on and major body image issues which I totally get, and I just wish they had the resources and energy to actually investigate why they feel this way and seek help doing so, instead of just reaching this state of permanent reluctance to do anything beneficial other than blame another woman for living the life they missed out on in the past.
@@someoldytaccount i didnt consider that pov, it makes alot of sense especially with older terfs. Probably goes hand in hand with the reinvention of gender roles many of them advocate for.
It's weird too, my mom had four kids, she doesn't have incontinence. It's was probably pregnant complications the TERF needs to talk to a doctor with to ger fixed. Medicine has come a long way and we don't have to live with it debilitating us. Also, be mad at shitty medical doctors, not poor trans folks just living their lives. We are all in this together, no need to be a TERF
a terf insisted im a man and called me by the masculine version on my name over and over despite the fact that im afab and generally femme-neutral presenting (im nonbinary and intersex, trans masc but not trans man and definitely not a trans woman) it was so funny even when i told them they kept saying it over and over because they have absolutely zero understanding of what it means to be trans or any of the general words we use another thing that's so funny is when people hear "trans man" and think it's someone transitioning mtf.... aka a trans woman (and the other way happens too) because apparently "trans man" is very confusing lol
I kinda use Brandon Teena as a mnemonic. I read his Wikipedia page after seeing Boys Don't Cry, and the article starts with "Brandon Teena was an American Trans-man." For some reason that sentence stuck in my head, so I use that as a datapoint to remember that Trans-men are F-to-M.
riiight??? its basic english for elementary students. The man or women is the noun, and trans is an adjective. Lets try it tall woman. funny woman... ok now...trans woman. The noun is the same. wow.
I commented on a post once saying something about how trans people deserve gender affirming care and this woman replied woth a paragraph about how I would never be a woman and i was delusional. She then commented on a bunch of my posts making comments about how masculine my face was and that everyone could tell I'm a man. I'm a cis woman.
I am a cis gender lesbian and I have a trans friend who got some hate on TikTok for being himself. I stood up for him and then got told I was ruining the concept of man and woman by allowing him to express himself as a man. My response is ‘it doesn’t affect your life so either watch the video or scroll past but don’t leave hate on a 20 year olds post because he knows his gender better than you’ I got accused of pushing the ‘trans agenda’ (whatever it is) because I defended him. Much respect to you Noah ❤
There’s absolutely nothing to feel guilty about in standing up for your friend’s identity. I’m enby myself, and it feels really good when one of my friends makes the little effort to show me that they care about it. We’re all stronger together as a community, whatever kind of queer we all are, and the people doing after trans people now aren’t going to stop there. So besides being absolutely the right thing in isolation, cis queer people standing up for trans people is also solidarity and self defense 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
It literally does affect our lives though especially in toilets, changing rooms and in sports. XY people aka males should not be using XX aka female spaces
Oh look, another bigot who doesn't even understand how chromosomes work lol. Ever gotten yours tested? They might surprise you. For anyone else not in the know, while there are certain combinations that tend to correlate with AGAB, it's by no means binary or absolute. There are plenty of cis people whose chromosomes don't match their AGAB, including people with more than two. Turns out the world is a lot more complicated than what they taught you in middle school. That, and nobody can see anyone else's chromosomes, so it'd be an awfully silly thing to structure society around. Almost like this is some kind of a bad faith argument from sad bigots who want an excuse to fear monger about people they don't understand. 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈
You guys are the equivalent of conservatives laughing about left-wing school kids fails. Pick a fight with someone like me, who has studied this stuff for over 13 years, you will find out how strong the TERF argument really is ; )
i honestly always love seeing the "we can always tell" front fall on their face by assuming cis women are trans based on their own hyper-fixations. Like not only is it laughable to see them be SO wrong, it's also a perfect example of how being anti-trans is inherently anti woman, because it's allowing someone to make rules on what is acceptably "woman enough"... which changes the view of women as complex people who are unique, to an object that can be constrained to a few key points. How... How can that be more acceptable "feminism"?
No TERF in the right mind makes that argument, we with half a brain all have seen magic shows, we know that human eyes can be easily deceived. Hell, I know cosplayers who could convincingly pass as a tree in the forest and no one would ever find them. But if that's the basis of your argument for why we should ignore physical reality, it's a pretty weak one. Only because you can successfully adopt the aesthetics of something does not mean that you in all aspects become that something, even if you can pass through social interactions as the aesthetic which you have adopted - that's a ridiculous proposition. Women and men are not just social figments, the terms "woman" and "man" also inherently reflect physical properties and characteristics of a certain type of human (maybe not the only type if we ever would find a perfectly self-reproducing intersex human, but we haven't observed such). No male human being with prostate issues would (at least until now) visit a Woman's Hospital without first confirming that there is a specialist for male medical needs presents - because the term "Woman" indicates that the hospital does not specialize in that - the word "Woman" here is in no way reflecting a social space, it is a biological, medical space - because that's what the terms "woman" and "man" are, terminologies that within them hold the meanings of species, sex, gender, and even to a certain degree developmental phase (since the term is classically used to refer to a type of postpubecent human). What you are referring to is the gender described as a spectrum of femininity - masculinity as applied by society on our individual, externally perceivable characteristics. This is a set of socially constructed stereotypes that we collectively nurture in each other and which indeed in essence means "making rules on what is acceptably "feminine enough"" for female human beings. This is not anti-woman or anti-man, it's simply born out of exactly the fact that our eyes cannot be trusted. 'Gender' as a concept developed in humans precisely because we can't i.e. successfully smell the sex of another human like other animals do - which is why our lazy brains try to create 'gender' as a social aid to make identification of potential sex partners easier by imposing all kinds of largely artificial categorizations, stereotypes, boxes whatever you want to call it onto one another. It's not very individualistic at all, but it's something that comes to us naturally given our inherent needs and limitations. To be trans in relation to such a social construct (especially without an underlying intersex medical condition that leads to body dysphoria), is - and I don't mean this negatively or positively - an anti-social behavior. This also explains why it's so present in rebelling teenagers who have always tend to try and fight social norms. But it is fundamentally misleading the way that some in Western academia try to conceal their definitions and give off the impression to learning students that "man" and "woman" themselves are pure social constructs - as evidenced above, they are not. The word "apple" contains socially constructed meaning (i.e. that we collectively nurture ourselves to think of a red fruit first and foremost despite apples coming in all kinds of colors), but that does NOT mean that apples are purely socially constructed and that the physical object "apple" does therefore not exist. This is a deceptive, postmodern tactic we all must be aware of.
I attended a counter protest yesterday in Auckland, New Zealand against posie parker and and she had to be escorted out by police before she even got to say a word! I actually had my own embarrassing transphobe moment. A few years ago in my pre-braincell era, I told my friend that they were lying about being trans because no-one actually feels gender. Plot twist, that's not normal. Most people actually feel gender and i'm actually just agender (took me far too long to figure out btw). Very embarrassing for me, i was the asshole, but i am putting this here to serve as an example that people can change. A lot of transphobia is caused by ignorance, but when people are made aware of how harmful their actions can be and how wrong they are (like in my case), people can overcome their prejudice. A nice strong dosage of common sense is what the terfs need.
@@ditjedatje9741 Assigned sex = Based on sex characteristics Gender= a concept created to describe and express how a person experiences the world, sometimes it correlates to assigned sex, sometimes it does not.
That's not true that everyone who doesn't feel their gender is automatically agender, I know plenty of people who don't feel anything, they just are, like myself, so no, not everyone feels gender. Once I heard a suiting comparison that was said by a trans person and they said "you don't feel your bones until one of them is broken" and that is the only way that people who don't feel like men/women/anything else, can understand.

Your personality is so uplifting even discussing sensitive topics that I would have enjoyed just hanging out with you in my earlier years. My best wishes and good luck on your musical career.
Old man, think about the ramifications for your daughter/sister/mother if any perv who calls himself a woman can enter their bathroom, sports or childcare. Let the "trans"fight for their own spaces, nobody would mind. but they insist on invading other peoples rights and savety.
You might be an old man, but you're more in touch with the younger generations than many of your age group probably is - and certainly more than some members of said younger generations. Intergenerational support is inspiring and I'm really glad to see it.
So I'm nonbinary, and I'm kinda androgynous unless I'm not wearing baggy clothes. I'm in the bathroom at my job one day, washing my hands before I go back into the kitchen, and this woman walks in, looks at me, walks back out, checks the sign outside the door, and goes, "Oh, I didn't know they let you choose your own bathroom here!" I kinda just smiled and tried walking out. She stands in my way and asks if my boss knew I was in the wrong bathroom. So I make my voice as girly as I can and I'm like, "I think he'd probably be shocked if I went in the men's," and she kinda huffed, did her business, and went and got my GM. He bought me a cookie over it. I don't really care too much. I'm always looking to get in a fight, but the audacity of this middle aged woman to assume I'm a man and try to bully me in a public restroom was astounding. Never had anything like that happen before, and I routinely have people call me "sir" in the kind of condescending way that says they know I'm not cis but they 1) don't care how I identify and 2) are calling me sir only to try to hurt me (unfortunately I seent some shit in my years so it takes a lot more effort than that). The bathroom issue is also a really big deal in my state, so I'm sure she only knows trans people exist because the local news mentioned the bathroom bill that was in the books that year.
I once had a guy try to misgender me on tumblr for saying "all names can be gender neutral if we stop being [kitties] about it" And that was the start of me realising I'm a trans man
There was a really good point I heard about the trans bathroom situation; People are always saying that if trans women are allowed in women's bathrooms, then any man can go in there by claiming to be a trans woman. But on the contrary, if trans people are forced to use the bathroom that aligns with their assigned sex, any man who wants to assault women can go in and claim he's a fully transitioned transgender man. If society tries both discrimination and acceptance and the problem still isn't fixed, then gee, I don't know, maybe the issue is something that has nothing to do with trans people and is actually about some other underlying societal issue, and it won't be solved by just being dicks to trans people...
no, TIM's insist on penetrating female spaces, instead of fighting for their own. XX does not want to be around XY in vulnerable situations. Fight for your own and you' d get way more support and understanding, but you demand 100% submission. and that is where our hate comes from.
The first problem is that trans woman-on-woman violence is classified as "woman-on-woman" violence, which is simply ridiculous. Secondly, you can make the same argument in relation to any safe space, is it therefore logical to abolish all such spaces and let anyone enter at all times? When a man enters a woman's bathroom, a woman in there will be on high alert, maybe even prepare to defend herself - when a trans woman enters, this initial, potentially life saving reaction may not occur given how trans women adopt the aesthetics commonly associated with women. And putting all that aside - shouldn't classical women be allowed to have spaces for themselves? They are clearly in the overwhelming majority, justifying having their own spaces. Why do we need to diminish diversity by collapsing these clearly different types of humans into one space, let trans women have their own bathrooms or have them use the third bathroom that often exists. But if we HAD to find a compromise, I would accept that - at law - trans women who had full bottom surgery can enter women's bathrooms, because they are on average substantially deprived of their violent sex urges (led by male reproductive organs) and have comparable anatomical needs (can't use male urinals anymore). I say "at law" because of course no one will check your pants (if you behave yourself and don't jerk off with your dick in the women's bathroom, as some T gender activists have recently done), same as a guy could theoretically enter a woman's bathroom by just cosplaying as a female character (as you implied). It's about whether something is legal - if a trans woman without bottom surgery then assaults a woman in such a space (or even a fellow trans woman with bottom surgery), then by having initially defined that this person was not allowed in such a space, the burden of proof on the victim is meaningfully reduced / aided, since no matter what happened, that person was not supposed to be in there, putting burden on that person. Do you see now why it is important, even though what you said is partially true?
@@KangMinseokI will agree with on one thing (I’m not calling it bottom surgery, all of you can get stuffed): It is not a good idea to let a transitioning mtf with a penis into the woman’s _bathrooms._

With regards to cramps, keep in mind that the hormones trans women are on do cause a "monthly cycle" and can cause cramping, even though it's obviously not uterine cramping. And while your cycle was very bad, some people with a menstrual cycle have very light or no cramps. When trans women talk about the cramps caused by their hormones, they aren't comparing their experience to YOUR experience. They're discussing an experience specific to trans women that is similar to the general experience of menstrual cramps.
I’ve never understood people getting offended at the fact that some trans women do sometimes experience cramps. I’m an intersex man, and I’ve been hospitalized multiple times for how severe my cramps were. I’ve passed out, vomited and been immobilized from the pain. Luckily I don’t get cycles anymore, but I would never shame a trans woman for having less pain than I did. That doesn’t make her experience less real, and if anything I’m happy that trans women don’t have to go through that level of extreme pain and horrendous treatment. I had a somewhat similar experience when I spoke about how bottom growth feels, and got a cis man whining about how bottom growth “isn’t possible” and how we were all collectively lying about it. People should really learn about what HRT actually does before making weird little claims and throwing fits about it.
Interestingly, the process that causes us to have cramps actually works the same way. A period loosens and contracts smooth muscle tissue in the abdominal region, which includes the uterus, and that loosening and contraction is the root cause of cramps; things like your intestines are also smooth muscle though, so they also loosen and contract and can cause a lot of pain. Most pain in period cramps actually comes from larger organs like the intestines, as the uterus is normally quite small. Trans women can as a result have cramps that are equally awful, as the pain comes from the same source. The source of pain trans women can't have is actually a related but not identical incident, some disorders in the ovaries specifically can cause extremely painful post-period symptoms; but technically that isn't pain from the period itself, and happens due to a disorder that is atypical, in most cases that part of the process should be passing painlessly. TLDR: Trans women can and sometimes do have equally nasty regular periods, the difference being that trans women are not subjected to some specific disorders that could have made the process even worse.
For me, one of the most frustrating things is TERFs defining what a woman is, so many of them strictly believe that a woman is someone who can give birth and have periods. And then I've seen cis women speaking out and saying they feel upset and confused because they're infertile or no longer have periods or have never had periods. Is my mom no longer a woman because she's just gone through menopause? Is my friend not a woman because she doesn't want children? It totally invalidates so many other women's experiences, it's so sad.
Yes a woman is someone who gives birth and have periods. However: if you are female and can’t do this you are still a woman. No one is saying otherwise. You just frame it that way. We are saying men cannot have a period or get pregnant. Only women can give birth and have a period, but not all women can.
I will say- when TERFs can’t figure out someone’s gender, like when people say Jammidodger/ Jamie Raines will never be a girl, etc, I have to laugh. They don’t even know what gender we are or are not, and yet they’re wigging the hell out 😂 That old woman was just trying to provoke a reaction, and did not get it. The stupidest thing someone had been transphobic to me about was a men’s shirt. I wore a mens shirt to school and people started saying shit to me about it, a group of guys followed one tiny person around the track field to yell at them for wearing a men’s shirt. There wasn’t any indication that my shirt was from the men’s section. It was just a grey long sleeved shirt with the actual sleeves being black, they just assumed it was a men’s shirt because I’d been outed as a trans guy to most of my grade at that point. The next day I wore baggy pants with surprisingly good pockets out of the women’s section that had a baby yoda decal on the front, unshockingly the same group of boys followed me around and yelled transphobic garbage at me. At one point one of them said something about my pants also being from the men’s section. I, being very annoyed at that point, turned around and walked backwards so they could see what was on my pants and with a very monotoned voice said “Still think this was shat out of the men’s section?” Yeah, they left me alone after that.
me and my friend group are all part of the lgbtq+ and a couple days ago some straight girls called my friends the f slur for "not picking up their trash" and our school counselor literally did nothing about it :)
And the saddest thing is that I was reading this and the first thing I thought of was, they never do anything about it. I hate that these things are normalised to the point where an authority figure at a school is not expected to act on a complaint of bullying.

This is kinda relatable; my dad was ostensibly queer-supporting for most of my life. Until I came out. Suddenly I understood he was only okay with it when it wasn't "in his family" or "wasn't _his_ kid". Then he tried blaming my mother and gay uncles for "turning" me bi and trans. Like, sorry to burst your bubble, dad, but the person I saw as the greatest role model as a kid was my mother's _world-champion arm-wrestler*_ best friend and mother of five compassionate, caring, and hot-AF women; you didn't stand a chance as a competing role model. Shit, that arm-wreslting champion's arm-wrestling champion husband was a better male role model than my dad. 😂

I don't even know why they don't like us. Are they scared? Do they just not like change? It's ridiculous. A lot of them say they don't like us because transitioing is "unnatural," which they communicate using a phone, which is also unnatural, but it's not bad. I just don't even understand it.
Nyx, I think you are correct, that these bigots literally are mostly just scared. Their own sense of their own identity seems so weak and fragile that they apparently fear that another person correcting their gender means that the bigot's gender might end up changing, and it makes them fear a loss of control over their own life. And we all know that being scared can lead to a loss of rationality. So it is unsurprising that such TERFs are showing their own irrationality.
it's a mixed web of deep insecurity, need for control over others, sometimes manipulation of past trauma through propaganda, or sometimes their own fear that if trans (and LGBTQ in general) is okay and natural, that means they have to face their own feelings and process something they've repressed. That can be a very powerful motivator tbf.
It tends to be one of the following: 1. Religious extremism and repackaged homophobia. This goes along with the colonialist attitudes of erasing the cultural identities of others. 2. A need to conform to a conservative family, church, or social group. If the in-group tells you to hate this other group, then that's what you do. 3. A fear that being attracted to a trans person makes you gay. Think of all the transphobes who keep trying to convince themselves that trans women aren't women. 4. A belief that being trans can be spread, and that they'll give into the temptation. These are the same people who believe in using conversion therapy to straighten kids out, after all, so they think sexuality and gender identity can be changed from the outside. 5. A fear of social change. When it comes to privileged individuals, they see any threat to the status quo as a threat to their privilege. To them, equality feels like oppression. In the end, transphobia is a conspiracy theory rooted in science denialism, much like any other form of prejudice. Some people form their entire identity around science denial, if you look at antivaxxers, climate deniers, creationists, or race realists. There's often a lot of overlap between them too.
I suspect that as they've grown up being taught women are baby machines and their worth is connected to their ability to have children that they are scared of anyone challenging that value set that women have worth separate from making babies as it undermines their sense of self and also they don't want to admit to themselves what they lost in their life living under such a value set. Palomas new song says it all

Noah... my guy... having cramps that are that bad ain't normal. Most people I know that have periods don't have incapacitating menstrual cramps. The only one I have ever known to have such bad cramps was a classmate when I was in secondary school. That poor girl had to be hospitalised. I didn't like her, but poor her. But the point is, having incapacitating cramps is not the norm. It can sometimes be nothing more than your body just being more sensitive, but it can be a symptom of an underlying issue.
eh I know a lot of afab people (myself included) that have had these really bad cramps as well. I'm not saying it couldn't be another issue, just that it can also just depend on the person.
Yeah, I used to get really bad cramps and it turned out to be endometriosis. I only found out when I woke up from getting a hysterectomy and they said they found endometrial tissue during surgery.
i think he mightve mentioned why his cramps were so bad in a different video, im not sure, but im fairly certain he's aware that the level of pain he had wasnt the norm

@@rhymerlegend2717 Lol, look, let me tell you a basic mathematical fact: When the transition rates go up, the total amount of detransitioners will go up as well. However, that doesn't mean that IN COMPARISON to the transition rates the detransition rates are going up. The detransition percentage stays the same. Sure, there are more detransitioners than there were 10 years ago. But that doesn't mean that more people are regretting their transition, it simply means more people in total have transitioned to begin with. The regret rate stays static, and very low.
The funniest TERF I've ever heard was actually one that was talking to me. I'm transmasc and I was about to head into the women's bathroom because I haven't had the luxury of medical transitioning(and society scares me). Some old lady in the bathroom sees me open the door and tells me to get out. I kind of just looked at her and went into the bathroom anyways. She did not like that, but I'm clearly younger and smaller than her, so she doesn't confront me directly. Instead she stayed by the sink while I was taking a piss, talking about how women don't get any privacy because men get to use whatever bathroom they want if they identify as a woman. I was cracking up in the stall, but didn't say anything. When I got out of my stall, I washed my hands, still ignoring her, and then, right as I left the bathroom I turned and said, "I'm a trans man,". The face she made before I left was priceless. My voice isn't super deep due to being unable to medically transition(yet), so she was mortified. I haven't really shared this experience before because I was pretty embarrassed when it happened. I felt kind of bad for talking back to an adult stranger, so I've kind of kept this story to myself. Hope you enjoyed! Luv you! 😘
You've gottaaaa see some of the videos that came out from Posie Parker's tour in Australia and New Zealand, she was easily outnumbered wherever she went and it was glorious

the most embarrassing thing I've seen a terf say is one time on twitter a cis guy told me "you'll never be a woman"... and then I said thank you since i'm a trans man 💀
there is no such thing as "trou fell for cult mantra's. There is sex and characteristics, claiming otherwise is sexist. You have been let to believe you can't be yourself until you sacrifice bodyparts to the gendergod. And you did. LOL
i saw someone who compared a man(cis man not trans woman, but they are the same thing in her mind) wearing a comfortable dress from goodwill, to actual cultural appropriation😭
Yep, I have seen it compared to blackface too. There are also wannabe allies who expressed the same sentiment when cis men who are allies wear a dress. Thankfully that person understood after I explained but yeah..... this isn't an uncommon thought for cis people.
@@kraziiXIII If it is trans gender (meaning not trans sex, as in an intersex condition that leads to dysphoria), then it is very much comparable to appropriation, because unless you can show to suffer from a biological, medical condition, you are in essence simply adopting "gender", which is nothing but perceivable aesthetics very much comparable to the concept of "race" as a social construct. It's very important that we apply the distinction between sex and gender, race and ethnicity etc. consistently - we cannot point at a person suffering from dysphoria related to their biological body and call that simply "trans gender". Sex and gender are NOT the same.
@@KangMinseok nice trolling. I'm trans, so I actually get a say in this. No one is appropriating the trans experience by wearing what is perceived as "gender non conforming" clothes. Since clothing does not have a gender, it is not appropriating gender. A dress is a dress. Pants are pants. If on a cis man, cis woman, trans man, trans woman, nonbinary person, whoever, a dress has no gender. Cause clothes don't experience gender. Cause no one bitches about togas, kilts, or pants. You ain't gonna say Candace Owen's is "appropriating the male sex" when she wears pants. Recognize your double standards and get your whataboutisms outta here. Either you got a lot of cis women who appropriate the male gender/sex every time they wear pants or clothing doesn't have a gender or sex. And you have no idea what you are talking about when you even mention intersex folks. Lots of intersex folks are cisgender. They aren't trans cause they agree with the gender assigned at birth. And gender euphoria is the measurement we go by now. Gender dysphoria can be experienced by cisgender people because gender is a concept and thus has rules. When those bodies don't fit those gendered rules it causes body dysphoria, cause gender is what is causing the dysphoria.
As a trans woman on hormones I use a period tracker app because once a month I do get cramps and mood swings so I tend to refer to it as a period just because... I'm not sure how else to refer to it and it's a good short hand to my partner and friends who understand that term and know what it means. I always feel bad though feeling like I'm "stealing valor" from people who menstruate and go through the whole process and experience it a lot worse than me.
as an afab who menstruates i promise that you and other transfems with similar experiences aren't stealing anything from anyone by referring to your monthly cycle as a period. it really isn't hurting anyone and plus, cis women all have different experiences with periods too. just because yours is a bit different than a cis woman's doesn't mean it isn't a valid experience
I just want to say as a trans man who gets really bad periods occasionally I personally don't see anything wrong with calling it a period even if you don't bleed. I wish people were more chill about the terms trans people use tbh
Lots of cis women don't have any symptoms or pain at all. Some cis women have a hysterectomy. There are all kinds of people out there and however you experience that is valid. Don't worry about your period/calling it a period, you don't need to feel bad. If anyone tries to make you feel bad about that and/or justifies it by saying some cis women have very painful periods, they are being ridiculous. They are just trying to find any ridiculous excuse they can. You go through more pain than I do as an afab person. You're not stealing anything and however little or much pain you go through or whatever you experience is fine to call a period.
Im homeschooled rn bcz my school was homophobic and transphobic af and i came out. Here's a list of stuff that the school staff told/did to me: 1. The PE teacher who didnt know me before i came out "gave permission" to my classmates to deadname and misgender me and the only reason i know is because one kid in my 32 kids class felt that he should let me know. 2. I got called to the counselor office where my homeroom teachet at the time and the counselor told me to "go back into the closet" bcz "it'll be easier for everyone". 3. The school still has me on their systems as my deadname which is ilegal bcz my name is legally Sam soooo they have a fake person in their system ykyk.
This video helped me a lot. A few days ago I had to listen to my dad be transphobic and tell me that parents who support trans people are child abusers. It's nice to get a break.
Parents that allow their child to selfharm into sterilisation are abusive parents. You wouldn't let your child remove an eye and leg to be a pirate eighter.
For what it's worth, in the eyes of every sane person here you're more valid than anything a shite family member could ever say to you. The blood of the covenant is thicker than the waters of the womb.
I think the most embarrassing thing a terf said to me personally was when one of them told me (an afab nonbinary person) that I'd never be a woman. I just said "you promise 🥺' and she blocked me. I also had the joy of being online when Caelan, iconic nonbinary content creator, managed to convice terfs on twitter that they were a cis woman just buy using extensions and a little bit of make up. Iconic behavior. Oh, and more recently a brazilian terf (that had a lot of posts about how autistic people should be protected from the mean evil trans that manipulate us into thinking we are trans or something) told me that.... I am autistic and know nothing I am talking about, and should just stay quiet. And then called me a slur. Typical terf behavior.
As a cis woman, I had soooo many other cis women tell me that periods "are not that bad" and to "just push trough it, we all have that pain". That takes away waaaaaay more from my "experience" than any trans woman complaining about cramps (which is valid imo, they are induced through hormones after all) could ever. Period. (so funny, I know xD ) Also: Trans rights are human rights.

Trans is borrowing the name of woman, but it’s another category that isn’t under the category of girl and woman. yeah, that lady bragging about pissing herself isnt upsetting people the way she wants to, she's making people upset in the same way people get upset at seeing blood. it's disturbing and she needs help.
The fact that some women experience long term post partum complications is not an indictment of trans people, it's an indictment of the healthcare system. And fixing the broken American healthcare system would help all of the above groups.

Its not rly smth i go out of my way to tell ppl first thing, unless its actually relevant; and i nvr tell ppl by sayin "I piss myself uncontrollably!" at them xD
Usually it just comes up in convo eventually, oft by me makin a jokey remark about it when someone is lookin for a bathroom xD (Usually just "Ive got a spare diaper if ya want" or similar)
My first thought about the mom who pisses herself is to want to tell her to talk to her doctor because that sounds uncomfortable. It's wild to me that she sees that as owning trans women or whatever. Who WANTS to piss themselves uncontrollably whenever they laugh or jump on a trampoline?!
Quite probably the result of a prolapse and requires surgery to resolve... My mother had it
Do you rly want the answer to that question at the end of your comment?
Also, be mad at shitty medical doctors, not poor trans folks just living their lives. it was so funny
even when i told them they kept saying it over and over because they have absolutely zero understanding of what it means to be trans or any of the general words we use
another thing that's so funny is when people hear "trans man" and think it's someone transitioning mtf.... aka a trans woman (and the other way happens too)
because apparently "trans man" is very confusing lol
transgenderism is an extreme narcism that prevents you from being able to see how and why you are a burden to society.
They're not very smart generally.
@dmgroberts5471 you can also just ask yourself "how would this person prefer to be referred to?"
riiight??? its basic english for elementary students.

I am suing you for taking the words out of my mouth!
i honestly always love seeing the "we can always tell" front fall on their face by assuming cis women are trans based on their own hyper-fixations.

@kimselsr This is the most wholesome comment I have read in a long time 💛
So I'm nonbinary, and I'm kinda androgynous unless I'm not wearing baggy clothes.
I once had a guy try to misgender me on tumblr for saying "all names can be gender neutral if we stop being [kitties] about it"
And that was the start of me realising I'm a trans man

With regards to cramps, keep in mind that the hormones trans women are on do cause a "monthly cycle" and can cause cramping, even though it's obviously not uterine cramping. And while your cycle was very bad, some people with a menstrual cycle have very light or no cramps. When trans women talk about the cramps caused by their hormones, they aren't comparing their experience to YOUR experience. They're discussing an experience specific to trans women that is similar to the general experience of menstrual cramps.
As a trans woman who gets cramps; I love this comment!
Today I learned that my post-menopause grandmother is actually trans /j
I will say- when TERFs can’t figure out someone’s gender, like when people say Jammidodger/ Jamie Raines will never be a girl, etc, I have to laugh. They don’t even know what gender we are or are not, and yet they’re wigging the hell out 😂

How many bodyparts have you sacrificed to the gendergod, so far?
It tends to be one of the following:
Palomas new song says it all
They dont like us, bcuz we are a convenient target for politicians lookin to drum up support for old world thinkin

Noah... my guy... having cramps that are that bad ain't normal.

@@HyperNovva not for long. The rate of trans people is skyrocketing and the trans regret stories are coming out much more than before
@@rhymerlegend2717 Lol, look, let me tell you a basic mathematical fact: When the transition rates go up, the total amount of detransitioners will go up as well.
Luv you! 😘

And then called me a slur.

that last one was...something
As a cis woman, I had soooo many other cis women tell me that periods "are not that bad" and to "just push trough it, we all have that pain".
