Recently my friend, who is a trans ally, told me about what happened when he informed his mother about my coming out as trans. However, my friend was almost too ashamed to say it. He said that he told his mother that I'm nonbinary and go by they / them pronouns now. His mother insisted on calling me "he / him" until my "parts were chopped off" and then asked my friend, "Why can't you get any NORMAL friends, or a girlfriend?"
I laughed for a good ten minutes, until my sides were aching.
I'm non binary and funny story about my name. I liked Noah because it was similar to my deadname and it would be easier for people and for me to get used to it (I also didn't hate my deadname) but where I live basically only exists Noa, which is a female name. So, I was looking at people in Instagram called Noah to see if there were only guys or also girls. I saw an account of someone I found quite attractive and I started looking at his pictures when I saw one where he wasn't wearing a t-shirt and I saw the scars from the top surgery. Months later I'm a big fan of yours and I watch every single video.

to anyone who wants to bind but can't buy a binder:
if you didn't already know target sells binders now. they're in the pride section and have a rainbow tag but if, like me, you sneak it in with other clothes while your parents aren't looking you can buy it and pull it off as a sports bra. they're $25 and made as a more comfortable option to traditional binders so they won't get you as flat as say, gc2b or underworks, but if youre small chested like I am they work really well. make sure to still follow the 8 hour/5 days a week rules for traditional binding though. hope this helps!

13:11 not being "good at breathing" could also have something to do with adhd. I once read in a book about adhd, that unregular breathing (as in withholding breaths and then taking a big one) can be a symptom.

I suspect to be neurodivergent and I struggle a lot with just breathing while doing sports. Especially when jogging or swimming I forget it until I'm literally gasping for air sometimes or I actively have to focus on breathing which leads me to misstep or lose my rhythm while swimming.
@@erdbar718 the book is in German, which could be fine, looking at your user name. It's called "Lass mich, doch verlass mich nicht" (let me be, but don't leave me). I don't know, if I would recommend the book overall, though. It's written in a quite pathologizing way. I felt a bit alienated.

It’s interesting how u bring up the fact that so many of your Ftm trans friends became gay after testosterone, apparently that’s actually a thing like starting testosterone can cause u to “change” sexuality. About 40% of trans men do n 49% of trans mascs do as well. Not because it turns u gay or something but because going on testosterone is pretty much like going thru puberty and it’s common for people’s attraction to change during puberty.

I recently came out as a trans male, my friends were all accepting, unfortunately my family is not accepting of it except for my little brother. My mom compared my body dysphoria to her disliking her body because she doesn't like her body. And she said I'm her daughter and she'll never call me a girl because I was born a girl. I was born with scoliosis and kyphosis (literally hunchback syndrome) and my posture was terrible before I had titanium rods with cobalt screws fused to my spine. Now, my torso is as stiff as a rod and the surgery actually made me taller, but now I am stuck at this height forever. I mean, had I not gotten that surgery, my spine would've eventually crushed my organs...

trans story time: so i walked into the girls restroom (I'm Trans masc but I'm also a minor so i'm not going to the mens room) anyway i did what i had to do and everything but this lady walks in and starts getting all nervous. at first I'm like "what" but then she points to the sign and i have to say i'm a girl because i don't wanna have to explain myself and this lady has the audacity to ask "biologicaly" it gave me gender euphoria that i passed but i didn't like how she couldn't exept the short answer

OMG I WALKED INTO THE GIRLS TOILETS IN SCHOOL AND THE GIRLS LOOKED AT ME AND SAID “what are you doing in here?” AND I WAS SO CONFUSED AND THEN THEY ASKED MY FRIEND IF I WAS A BOY OR A GIRL!!!! AND IVE BEEN ASKED IF I WAS A BOY OR A GIRL AT SCHOOOOLLL ITS SO EXCITING
One thing I like to do as kinda a trans joke (ftm[before T]) is just making my voice high pitched that usually scares people away
