trigger warning! When I was raped at 13, I questioned my gender identity for a while. I even went through a period of identifying as a guy because I felt like that was who I truly was. I got confused and my PTSD was at an all-time high. I attempted suicide and was hospitalized, my PTSD was actually treated and I realized that I just felt that I would feel safer as a man. It would be less likely for me to be raped again if I had a penis. I've successfully gone through a PTSD-specific treatment for everything I've gone through, and I have come to understand that it's common for girls who are raped to question their identity. I'm glad I realized who I really am and that it's okay to feel the way I did.

@@_Chaos.Crow_ That was not the conclusion or point of either trish's video nor noah's video. if someone says they're trans, they're trans. and no matter how sloppy and confusing trish's video is, it's not at all how a cis person would feel or act or speak. and more to the point, why tf should questioning people get contradicted? if we can respect caitlyn jenner's gender we can respect youtubers' gender.
trish: so do i think i'm transgender? yes, a thousand percent also trish: do i identify with my natural-born gender? a thousand percent so...correct me if i'm wrong, but you're saying that you're transgender *and* cisgender? how does that work?
Laura Martin-Falla she also says “natural woman” or “natural born woman” instead of afab. She doesn’t say cisgender either. She doesn’t know any of the terms and I HAVE NO IDEA how she could have been seeing a gender therapist for 6 months and doesn’t know these terms?? I understand if she was trying to dumb down the language for her regular viewers, but she continues this theme in her other two videos which are specifically directed at the hate she’s getting and the trans people talking about her, so I feel like she just doesn’t know what the words mean.
Laura Martin-Falla Exactly, it’s very strange. If she actually is seeing a gender-therapist or whatever, Trisha would’ve known and heard of these terms. I’m not buying her whole act at all.

"you need dysphoria to be transgender" from my understanding, and research(because my friend used to say this to me all the time), though yes, dysphoria is a common partner to go alone with being transgender. not ALL transgender people have dysphoria.
@@bubblegumstudios0 alright so the thing that usually tells someone they are trans is that they feel more comfortable being called a different gender than the one they were assigned at birth. Though dysphoria can happen, some trans people are comfortable with the body they were born with! Sorry if this doesn't make sense I suck at explaining things lol
I honestly can't work out if she's 1). having an identity crisis because she feels unvalued without attention 2). really struggling with internalised misogyny and for some reason thinking she can identify out of it by saying she's a man 3). has taken "not like other girls" to a whole new level or 4). actually trans and just literally the worst ever at explaining herself. I tried to make my own reaction video and ended up just talking about all these possibilities for 30 minutes lmao
I don't necessarily think she's lying but I do think it's a ploy for attention. I think it's like attention seeking autopilot at this point and maybe she doesn't even realize she's doing it. But no one, in the history of the internet, has had more "coming out" videos than Trish. She's come out as gay, bi, black, _a chicken nugget,_ a drug addict. Why not add trans to the list?
