Fused wire and fused quickwire are pretty good recipes once you've got an overabundance of power. But that's a ways off with oil power being practically required for that.
Oh and another tip, you can press p for photo mode and use the scroll wheel for a rudimentary telescope. So nice for looking at the little details in the space elevator
Ohh, good note! I actually have oil power set up now (prerecorded video next week since I'm going on vacation), so maybe it's about time to set that up. I'll definitely look into that! I've been using photo mode zoom for a little while now, that's what the intro was filmed using. I should use it more often.
