@@cajayson8301 Was it, though? The entire audience heard the announcer correctly pronounce Cady's name. Had that not just happened, I could see your point. I'm not unreasonable, after all. But the entire audience heard, point-blank, how to pronounce Cady McClain. It makes one wonder why Ms. Roswell made the deliberate decision to mispronounce the name.
@@cajayson8301 With all due respect, I don't think I am. It's very rare to see this sort of thing occur. It's important to know how to pronounce the stars' names. That is, if you're hosting, or announcing, or doing anything. It's the decent, responsible and respectful thing to do.
@@cajayson8301 Imagine, if you will, if Paul Rudd were an announcer at the Oscars and he pronounced the winner, Robert DeNiro's, name as 'Robert Duh-NEYE-roh.' It would be ALL over the trade magazines, gossip blogs, and Twitter would cancel him. It's not fair that Victoria Rowell gets a pass. I'm not saying we should cancel her... but she should have done her research! She probably should have issued an apology to Cady, as well, for tarnishing what should have been a great moment in her career.
