love how your TN and bullet journaling is so unique to you. i think it's great that you create your own inserts and play around with different weekly setups. thanks for sharing!
I love your bullet journal! I've watched your video multiple times and I keep getting new ideas. I would love to see an update on your bullet journal. Thanks for sharing your set up and how you use the bullet journal system.
I really like how you use your bullet journal. I have watched a LOT of different videos on this and your is the first one that I am commenting on. I like the way you made use of the days and the highlighting, I think I may have to try some of your ideas. Thank you for sharing. You have inspired me!
That is so awesome. My days are more task oriented and the bullet journal looks like the best way for me to get my days put together. Your video just concreted my decision to start.
"I love the feel of used paper" - yeah, baby, oh, yeah :D As if I said it! I'm new to bujo-ing but so far this is the most inspirational journal I've seen. I like how you adapted to your own taste.
Thanks for sharing. You and your mom ideas are great! Like your archiving specifics. I'm a mom too, and I got a lot of useful practical tips from your video!😍
Thank you Lauren for sharing how you do things! i simply adore how its all mixed up it makes it easier and less of a task trying to use too many different books to document your life. I will take a page from your book and give my moleskine books a try :)
I love your bullet journal and the idea of printing my own grid paper. I currently use Moleskine. My bullet journal seems so rigid and I really need to add artistic detail and just have fun! Thank you for the video and the inspiration.
Now THIS is a bullet journal system that may work for me!!!! I just LOVE how yours is so colorful and you have tipped in so much ephemera. I never considered bullet journaling because it looked so boring. But now, I may have to give it a try. Thanks so much for sharing!!!! Truly!
awesome video!youve inspired me to go back to the bullet journal system. totally agree on the planner thing-sometimes i feel like changing my weekly/monthly layout but dont want to scrap the whole thing and start all over again-bullet journal all the way! :)
I am so jealous of your handwriting, especially the lovely "header font" you use for titles and quotations! I want to do a bullet journal, but I am afraid I'd just hate my own "work."
Enjoyed your setup very much. I have been looking for a way to chronicle our time without scrapbooking. I like how everything is on one spot without having to fuss with a lot of supplies or separate books. I am going to try this for the rest of the month. Thanks for posting your video!
Really liked your system and I finally met someone who uses publisher. I really like using it and it's less complicated. I would love to see a video on how you do your inserts? You are very creative!!
I loved this, you gave me so much inspiration. Something funny I learned from watching your video is that we don't live very far from each other..... I think. I live about 70 mins from Northwest Ark. :) small world. Again, you handwriting is absolutely gorgeous and I will be trying all day. Lol
Great work. I so wish when my kids were small I had kept a diary/journal etc. I enjoy keeping a journal now (in my Midoris). What paper do you use for your inserts? I like making my own as well. The last I purchased is Hammermil 24 lb and it seems to work well. Thanks for sharing so much and giving me more ideas. LOVE the printed text from you child. So so sweet and for sure a memory
Thank you - I may just give the bullet journal a try - I like how you've customized it to what you need and I'm having a hard time deciding what I want to use this year - I thought going from a day on two pages to a day on one page with a separate art journal would work, but it's just a little awkward right now.
Thank you - I'm settling into the Bujo and finding it was harder in my head than it actually is in real life - because I do that to things ;) I'm liking it so far - but I feel like a traitor to my other inserts, LOL.
Love the idea of the Running Task List. I think I will also do one for future appointments. I'm so used to the monthly spread that I might merge the two. I struggle the most with how to record future events and appointments, still looking and brainstorming which method suits my needs. Any suggestions are welcomed!
Great video....and I love your system...well how you keep working to fine something that you like. I also love how you keep the lil notes and drawing from your kids....my heart broke a lil knowing I had so many and never put them away for safe keeping...and now my baby is 12 :'(
Can you explain how you set up your pages so that the page numbers get printed on the lower outside corner? You mentioned the multi-page layout, but it would be nice to have you demonstrate it on video. Also, what paper do you find works best with the least bleeding through?
Hello Lauren--I've watched a LOT of planner videos, and this video is one of my favorites! I'm curious, is this system still working for you, or have you transitioned to something new? I guess that's one of the things I love about the planner/journaling community--that there are so many great ideas to try, and different things work at different times in your life! Thanks for sharing your set-up! Inspiring!!!
+Lauren Blake Thanks, Lauren! I'm thinking of using a journal, too--for the additional space! I loved what you said about your bullet journal being a "timeline of your life." I'm sure it's fun to flip through the pages of your book to see the story of your days!
This is a great video, and a way to bullet journal that makes sense! Are you still doing this the same way? Or are you doing anything differently? Maybe you could do an update! :)
+Suzanne Kersey I do still use the bullet journal, and I've cycled through lots of different formats, which is what I love about the bujo :) I'll try to get an updated video one of these days :)
what paper do you use for your inserts that works without much bleed through? i enjoyed your video--lovely handwriting, and the idea of a new layout for each week is great--i always want to change my planner, so am starting out in the world of travelers notebooks for just that reason! thanks.
I realize it's been a while since you posted this, but it was very helpful! You gave some great ideas. Could you tell me what kind of paper you use to make your inserts?
+Lauren Blake Thanks. I think there is a miscommunication. I was asking about the starting number sheets of paper to help determine the thickness of your booklets once it was folded in half. However, I can see how you get the 60 pages Thanks again.
love how your TN and bullet journaling is so unique to you. i think it's great that you create your own inserts and play around with different weekly setups. thanks for sharing!

Gintare Ivanovaite Hope you like the system! I love the flexibility!
I absolutely love your setup. I am brand new to bullet journaling. I have watched your video a few times for inspiration. Please make more videos:)))
Thank you for your video, I enjoyed it a lot! Love how you write your days and nonth, really stylish!
Thank you! I'm thinking about doing a quick video on that as well. :)
Great journal. I love all the ephemera you have in there.
Christine Farndon totally had to look up "ephemera" :D Thanks for the vocab word! ;)
I am so jealous of your handwriting, especially the lovely "header font" you use for titles and quotations! I want to do a bullet journal, but I am afraid I'd just hate my own "work."
+JoAnne Markov Give it a try!!! I did a video on how I do the headers. Try it and practice! You can do it :)
Enjoyed your setup very much. I have been looking for a way to chronicle our time without scrapbooking. I like how everything is on one spot without having to fuss with a lot of supplies or separate books. I am going to try this for the rest of the month. Thanks for posting your video!
Anna-Marie Johnson Thank you! I love having it all in one place too! And that I can go simple or take more time on a given day if I feel like it.
Really liked your system and I finally met someone who uses publisher. I really like using it and it's less complicated. I would love to see a video on how you do your inserts? You are very creative!!
Reena R Thank you, Reena! I love Publisher. I really should do a video on making my inserts.............
I like making my own layouts too! I'm currently using a handmade journal, but after I'm finished with it, I might go back to my MTN.
Sheila Northcutt I fluctuate all the time :)
Best I have seen...I really enjoyed your video. Well done. Cute little guys too!
monisu3 Thank you so much!

+Christianne Gerstner, CZT I love how you can do one thing this week, and change it up next week! Good luck!!
Thank you - I'm settling into the Bujo and finding it was harder in my head than it actually is in real life - because I do that to things ;) I'm liking it so far - but I feel like a traitor to my other inserts, LOL.

I love this! No idea how to make inserts... mine came out all wonky!
Good video, reminds me to keep my bullet journal going.
Carol Gallupe Thank you, Carol!
Please please please make us a new video showing updates:) you are my inspiration for bullet journaling!!!
Alicia Dixon Thank you Alicia! I will update, since I've made some changes.
Great video....and I love your system...well how you keep working to fine something that you like. I also love how you keep the lil notes and drawing from your kids....my heart broke a lil knowing I had so many and never put them away for safe keeping...and now my baby is 12 :'(
Norma Obregon I've missed a bunch too!!
Love this!!
I love this, it's one of my favorite videos! Do you have any updates to this or do you do your Bujo the same?
LOVE it!!!
Any chance you could do a tutorial on how to make a "cover" like your one with the quotes with the extra flap? I'd be forever grateful! Thank you :D
Can you explain how you set up your pages so that the page numbers get printed on the lower outside corner? You mentioned the multi-page layout, but it would be nice to have you demonstrate it on video. Also, what paper do you find works best with the least bleeding through?
+arly helm I use Publisher for the layout, and just put a footer with the page number. Hope that makes sense!

I do a lot the same!! I don't use my midori anymore, but I have a grid journal that I do much the same.
+Lauren Blake Thanks, Lauren! I'm thinking of using a journal, too--for the additional space! I loved what you said about your bullet journal being a "timeline of your life." I'm sure it's fun to flip through the pages of your book to see the story of your days!

I like the scripture journaling throughout. What is the prayer project?
+bigredslilmomma It was just something specific our church group was talking about. :)
what paper do you use for your inserts that works without much bleed through? i enjoyed your video--lovely handwriting, and the idea of a new layout for each week is great--i always want to change my planner, so am starting out in the world of travelers notebooks for just that reason! thanks.
Jane Kaye I just use basic Office Depot copy paper. It's definitely thicker than a typical journal though.
Thanks for this video. Can you show how you make your stickers?
Ayanna Mitchell I will do that soon, Ayanna! Thanks for the suggestion!
I really love the way you use your planner! Does the system still work for you or have you changed something?!
Natascha Gretz I am still bullet journaling! I have changed a few things, not a lot, but I will post an update video!
Oh I´m looking forward to your update video! This one was so inspiring! Have a great day!
I realize it's been a while since you posted this, but it was very helpful! You gave some great ideas. Could you tell me what kind of paper you use to make your inserts?
I just used basic Office Depot printer paper that my husband bought at work! :)
I have watched this so many times over the last few years since you posted . Are you still using this system ?
Very nice setup. How many pages do you print for your inserts? How do you bind ...staple or stitch? Thanks!
+Learnto Crochet I have done both. If it's a thicker book, I like to do a simple 5-point stich
+Lauren Blake Thanks for responding. How many pages do you include in your inserts? 15 sheets to make 30?
Learnto Crochet yes, 15 pages, but that actually makes 60 pages, because one piece of paper is 4 pages once folded.
+Lauren Blake Thanks. I think there is a miscommunication. I was asking about the starting number sheets of paper to help determine the thickness of your booklets once it was folded in half. However, I can see how you get the 60 pages Thanks again.
Hi Lauren! Love your layout! Very similar to mine. I wanted to ask where you get your paper that you make your inserts from?
+Lynn Herrin It's just basic Office Depot copy paper!
+Lauren Blake Thanks Lauren!
I'm a calligraphy junkie and was wondering what nibs/pens/ink you use on your journal paper? Usually I stick with my
L.K. Dexter I don't actually use calligraphy pens. I just hand draw the calligraphy. I'm a junkie too! :)
What size Foxidori is this? I've watched this several times today. I love your method. It makes so much sense to me.
Angie Henderson this is the extra wide Wanderlust
Cool :) I'm so glad I ordered the extra wide now!
wondering about your monthly reflection questions... can not find that list where you specified. Any other idea where I can find them? Thanks, Debbie
Debbie Sockrider Figured it out Thanks!
Do you have a tutorial on how you printed in the Avery circle stickers? I bought them and then discovered they're not designed to be printed. :-\
+iturnedoffthetv I don't... I found a Publisher template and just messed with it till it worked :/
Do you print off your own graph(squared) paper or do you just find notebooks with the paper to use?
Claw91 I print it myself
what is the weight of the paper n brand please? thanks
+Plannerbookworm It's just basic Office Depot copy paper!
What's the link to the etsy store?
Glenda Rosa My etsy shop is Belle Calligraphy. Thanks for asking!
Hmm.... Here's a link to a specific product. Maybe that will work?
