HEY GUYS... so although I'm a fan of the Moleskine and the bullet journal system... I have to say that for THIS EXACT type of journaling, I find that the Leuchtturm 1917 Agenda Squared does the job that tad much better!! WHY? Well apart from the inside pocket, elastic band etc that Moleskine also has, the Leuchtturm has pre-numbered pages, and the first 3 pages are already assigned for the Index. Another plus is that it's slightly wider than the Moleskine (I'm referring to the Large size)... therefore an added bonus as there is extra writing space. Just thought I'd share, as Ive been using this system for a few months now, using the typical Moleskine, however, today I purchased my first Leuchtturm (the one stated above).. and I have to say I prefer it. Just my two pennies worth :)
I really like this video. You introduced me to the Bullet system and I’m going to try it. But I’m going to test and get used to it in an old moleskine but I’m definitely going to use my filofax for this. I already have my movies, books, music etc in this. Thank you for the inspiration!
I've watched quite a few planning videos. I must be doing something wrong, I just don't have that many tasks. Whenever I try using a planner, I just don't have anything to write down. If I need to take something to the drycleaner, I just hang it somewhere near the door.
needing to purchase someting is a task. I use the $ to track purchases I make through the day to keep on budget. I also use a footprint to track daily steps and other exercise. And a fork for what I eat.
I don't know if this was already recommended but if not you can always just fill your filofax with just blank lined pages and use the bullet system... That way you can still use filofax. I thin they're expensive and have pockets anyways so why not right?
Thanks - I've watched a lot of bujo video's and your's was the easiest for me to "get". I'm going to give this a try instead of my day on 1 page insert and see if this works better for me.
I liked this video and how in depth it was for a bullet journal. I have a faux filofax with a day on two pages and just exchange the monthly days as the month changes so I have more room and it's not as bulky. That being said, the day on two pages for me works because I can bullet journal for that day and have plenty of room and still stick with my planner so it's all in one :) Love your organizing videos the best (even though they are all awesome!) and think you should do another health organizational video! I love stuff like that too and I think you do an amazing job! Keep it up! :D
Awesome video...thanks! I can't believe how well bullet journaling works; and I really, really like that you stayed with the basic plan instead of adding dozens of extra symbols. Check out Leuchtturm 1917 large notebooks when you get a chance. I just discovered them and can't wait to start my next bullet journal in one.
Great Idea! Planners are not working for me at the moment. I'm juggling so much and this will help me. I might color code the symbols just for me, but otherwise cool idea
Love this video! Vey helpful! I have Filofax in personal but in to "small" for me so I've been lookin to find other options or way to organize and plan my life! Thanks! New subbie here!
Great idea! I love the white moleskine. I may have to get one and decorate it up with washi tape :) Keep us posted if you decide to add the life mapping indexing. Love the variety of your vids, keep them coming...!!
Do you use this with you Filofax, or have you switched to just the Bullet Journal? I'm wanting to try the. Bullet Journal system but I can't bear to stop using my purple Saffiano. I just don't know exactly how I can use them both.
I have been continuing to use my personal malden with a day on two pages, but I am not consistent with it. So I may switch my inserts to a week on two and just use the bullet for daily tasks.
Michelle, there are plenty of people combining Bullet Journaling with Filofax, just do a search on those terms here on RUclips. Also, here is a blog post about it on Philofaxy: philofaxy.blogspot.com/2013/09/bullet-journallingplaning-in-your.html
I use my Filofax as a daily planner (plus other bits and bobs), and I made a small leather journal that is my brain dump/bullet journal. I couldn't handle not using my Filofax so I'll just use a Filofax and a brain dump journal/bullet journal together. I'm sure you could use a Filofax and a bullet journal together somehow :) I'm such a forgetful person, having all this info in different places helps me xD
