In this episode I take you to my first ever fine dining experience at Yoru; a Japanese influenced set menu of spectacularly delicious beef rice with roasted garlic, 3 vegetable sides of cauliflower, cucumber & mushroom, as well as a Tonkatsu breaded pork cutlet and to end, the absolute best crème brûlée I have ever had.
This dining experience was put of this world, everything was perfect, the presentation of the food, the flavour of the food, and the ambience of the restaurant... simply awesome.
Thank you Yoru, and thanks everyone for watching 🙏

Taiwan has much more than night markets and street food. Fine dining is another scope waiting for more foreign RUclipsrs to discover and explore.
I'm discovering all types of food options here in Taiwan, from street food to high class 😜
That looks amazing Dan. High on my list 😉
Proper delicious 🤤🤤🤤
希望Dan能到臺灣更多地方,會發現臺灣更多有趣的地方😊
Coming soon 👍
Dan has foodgasm every time. Top relationship! 👌 I envy your appetite. 😉
😜😋😜
really enjoy watching Dan eating the food...😆
Glad you enjoy it!
The spread doesn't look that posh, but watching you enjoying the grub till the end is priceless.. 😁🎉
I like the way it's not pretentious 😜 It's hard to convey flavour and freshness of ingredients over RUclips, but it was seriously delicious, especially that dessert 🤤🤤🤤 10/10!!!
thats becfause taiwannese food focus on flavor more then on how it looks like other country but im ensuring you its def taste delicious
哇.....我真不該在半夜時看這個的,BTW我推薦你可以試試去夜市(nightmarket),它跟路邊小吃不太一樣,有更多好吃的和好玩的,而且更密集
Yes, many more videos coming soon 🙏🇹🇼🙏
It was nice to see you speechless once in a while. I think the dessert was Flan, not creme brulee mate. Either way, it was delicious.
i can sure you its not flan it looks like it but ive tried flan and its a bit diff that desert more like puttin with more creamy testure and egg and carmel to it because we dont really like the texture of flan but creme brulee is pretty common desert you can find in many restaurent
@@evan8402 I googled menu and their dessert, they call it "tarragon creme brulee", you are correct👍😋
Ah yeah, brulé is the crunchy caramelised topping, it was amazing anyhow 😋😋😋
Thanks Dan, I will try the restaurants in Taipei especially the Xiao Long Bao. Heading there in mid-October. Also Yoru as well. From the expressions on your face it HAS to be good.
It was seriously amazzzzing. Hope you enjoy it! 🙏🙏🙏
What you ate at the end was flan (my personal favorite) which is a popular dessert in Spain and Latin America, also known as creme caramel (egg custard) due to its indulgent custard base topped with delicious caramel. Meanwhile, French crème brûlée or crème brulée, also known as burnt cream or Trinity cream, and virtually identical to the original crema catalana, is a dessert consisting of a rich custard base topped with a layer of hardened caramelized sugar.
Yeah, there wasn't any caramelised sugar on the top of this one, more of a creme caramel as you say 😋
Not that I like to complain but...I didn't see any emergency exit illumination & sign, and there is no window at all. If any emergency happen and power cut off you will have no way to escape.
I'm sure there's an evacuation procedure, it just might not be visible. Thanks for watching 👍
