Taiwan is definitely an independent country! I support Taiwan, which is the pearl of Chinese culture that has not been destroyed. And Taiwan is the perfect example of the combination of western culture and chinese culture, demonstrating that the Country has traditional chinese culture and western political system. Most importantly and differently , there is human right in Taiwan.
China looks cyberpunk and futuristic but Taiwan looks as if it is still stuck in the 1990s with all the old buildings and rundown streets and old-fashioned feel overall. Just look at the motorcycle tsunami in Taipei streets (they call it "motorcycle waterfall" you can search it on youtube to watch the flabbergasting scene), most of Taiwanese cannot afford cars, so EVERYBODY FLOODS THE STREETS WITH MOTORCYCLES, making Taiwan streets look quite Southeast Asian as Vietnamese and Cambodian and other Southeast Asian street scenes are also typically dominated by the torrents of motorcycles. In other words, Taiwan is falling far far behind China in modernization drives.
Taiwan is a vibrant island known for its rich culture, technological innovation, and stunning natural landscapes, playing a significant role in the global economy and geopolitics.

It’s a nice place to adventure this beautiful island. Can’t wait to see more videos of your journey in Taiwan. 🎉
Thank you for making such a wonderful video about Taiwan. East Coast is beautiful. There are lots of outdoor activities like diving, hiking, hot spring, etc.
Of course Taiwan is a country.🇹🇼 In all historical evidence (except those written by CCP), the CCP has never ruled Taiwan for any day in history, never. Now, Taiwan has its own independent passport, currency, government, democratically elected president, military, tax system, democratic education, flag, national anthem, and complete medical system. They have everything a country should have, and all of this is completely separate from CCP. Although officials in many countries dare not say loudly that Taiwan is an independent country because of the CCP's suppression, in fact Taiwan still has 12 diplomatic countries and actually recognizes Taiwan as a country. Many countries have also refuted China's distorted 2758 Agreement this year. It is only a matter of time before Taiwan is officially recognized as an independent country by the United Nations. Taiwan's latest poll in 2024 shows that 72.1% of people consider themselves Taiwanese, not Chinese, nor CCP people.

China has more high-rise buildings and more gorgeous infrastructure, but I think the people in Taiwan are friendlier and more civilized, and the artistic creation and atmosphere are freer. Also, I think traditional Chinese characters are more beautiful than simplified Chinese characters. In China, you have to download all "China-developed APPs" and use their own network, unless you have a VPN. Taiwan uses the world network. But that's just my opinion, two countries have different beautiful ways. Anyway, have a nice trip :)
China has more high-rises and more modern styling buildings and their entire infrastructure is more modern and cutting edge. Taiwan's infrastructure is pretty lack luster. Many if not most streets don't even have safe and proper sidewalks. Taiwan has the most pedestrian accident and fatality in the world. Taiwan tends to employ gaudy style centered around money on everything. Taipei Main that he is talking about and Taipei 101 are perfect examples, they contain money symbols everywhere, if you know how to look....and even many locals think so. It's about money money money in Taiwan. Using western phrase, Taiwan loves to throw blings on their building that often disrupt otherwise good design and everything look tacky. Main parts of Taipei city center, as he is showing, really haven't got modernized, so it's quite dated. I travel to Taiwan and China frequently for work, and the comparison is easy to spot. I don't know why one would attribute traditional characters as "more beautiful" than simplified. Taiwan tend to use gaudy and more artsy fonts. If you go to China and the same fonts are used in movies and legendary build signage, they are equally beautiful in simplified characters. Simplification of character was done as a form of moderation and industrialization. If you can write Chinese, you'd understand this. Traditional characters have way more strokes per character and it's not efficient for writing.
@@_w_w_ The information you posted is completely wrong. According to the World Health Organization, Liberia has the highest traffic accident mortality rate at 35%. Taiwan’s traffic accident fatality rate is only 12%. China is even higher than Taiwan, with 18%. Data-wise, Taiwan’s traffic is even safer than China’s. I said, "I think both Taiwan and China have their own beauty." I don’t know why you want to use wrong data to discredit Taiwan. Are you Chinese? Or do you have any purpose? I don't know.
@@yuyuyu0505 I am an American that happens to go to Asia a lot and understand the situation. You, unfortunately, looked up the wrong information. WHO's data groups all road related incidents, including passenger incidents. If you look at pedestrian related incidents and fatalities, including injuries walking on the road/sidewalk, crossing the road, or getting struck by a motorized vehicle, Taiwan is at the top of the list for developed countries. This is a known issue to most Taiwanese and an issue the government is trying to improve. If you know much about Taiwan, you'd realize many many streets do not even have sidewalks and many many intersections do not have properly marked crossings. Uneven paved road is also another issue. I suggest you talk to more locals. In fact, just this year alone, pedestrian fatality is up by Taiwan's own account. And if you are a Taiwanese, I urge you to set aside unfounded pride on this topic and recognize this issue so it can be improved for all citizens.
Aside from one's opinion on the beauty of stuff which is very subjective, your statement on the traffic mortality rate is definitely incorrect. No way Taiwan holds the highest rate in the world. Are you kidding me? Not good to deliver such misinformation. Traffic in Taiwan certainly has much room for improvement but China is in no way better than Taiwan in terms of the "data" you are trying to refer to.
In fact, knowledgeable people all know that China has never owned Taiwan, and only a small number of Chinese people come to Taiwan, and they cannot represent Taiwan!
