How To Change The Power Window Switch In A Saturn Sky or Pontiac Solstice.

In this video I show you how to replace the power window switch in your Saturn Sky. This should also be similar to changing it in your Pontiac Solstice as well.

Hi Dave. I appreciate the comment and I'm glad my videos have been helping you. I've been to the Woodward Dream Cruze back in the early 2000s and I agree that it's a hot rod lover's heaven. At the time, I had a 1999 Chrysler 300M and went up there with a group of other 300M owners. It was one of the best weekends of my life and I'll never forget it. I hope to someday go back there again, but unfortunately, it won't be this year. Have fun at the cruise.

Totally separate car, but I had a failing window switch in my 2002 Chev Impala. Once I removed the switch, I noticed that even a switch is disassemble-able, so I took it apart and found the contact points were ‘charred’ and blackened. I took some really fine emery cloth and sanded the contact points, re-assembled it and it was back in good working order. I’m NOT saying that this is possible with the Sky, but it’s worth taking a look at the switch. All components have to be assembled and there is often a way to repair instead of replace parts.

Hi Mike, did you get my headlight housing lenses cleared up?

My drivers side inside door handle stopped working, while it still moves it doesn't open the door mechanism. Otherwise the outside handle works, the door locks and unlocks as it should. I feel sure it has something to do with the cable. Have you had experience with this before. Thanks for this video, now I know how to get the door panel off. Any help from anyone. Thanks.

Hey love watching your videos! I have a problem as well with my windows not going down! How do I know if it’s the switch or something else? Now I’m my case the widows don’t go down on either side by either switch. Please advise

Thanks for the video of how to take apart the door panel. I have a set of lights (puddle?) l am adding to my Solstice underside of the door panels.
Was the chrome handle an add on to your Sky or stock?
