I visited in 2018, Wendy. I loved it. Stayed in the Convent - great breakfasts. Walked the walls and the Cat Trail. Attended evensong in the magnificent Minster. I still buy things online from The Cat Gallery in Petergate. I'm a southerner originally, Buckinghamshire. Best wishes from NSW Australia.

The alleyway between Whip-Ma-Whop-Ma-Gate and the bottom of the Shambles is called "St Crux's Lane".
Blame the games shop for tying to convince you otherwise!
