    I dropped out of college two years ago to chase my dream of becoming a real estate agent and it worked. It’s really worth it and I have no regrets. Been an amazing journey but not as easy as I thought 💰💰💰💰💰💰

    Also, I think most agents get caught up and just selling houses they don’t think about fixing flips or wholesale or even trying to break into commercial Estate. There’s a few ways to make money doing real estate with that license.

    I just got mine and renewed my 75 hour to 77 to officially be licensed in NYC is wild af to me lol 😝 I failed 5 times no lie. but I literally got the sauce now and all the questions memorized !SNI do suggest putting away 800 to a 1000$ aside for sponsorship fees they all add up depending on which Coldwell Banker Id say 1000 just In you want a little extra in the package you choose .Tech fee , marketing/photo shoot , NAR or REBNY affiliation etc …. May do a video on the whole process if anyone is interested

    Im reviewing for my exam, and i hear people say that entering the industry isn't a good idea when the market is looking questionable. I dont get discouraged by that. There seems to be an increase of licensed agents not really putting in the effort for their clients, i dont know why, but when the market goes bad, that should force agents to step up their game and out perform other agents. 2 licensed experts i follow in real estate had both got licensed during really bad market times. 1 of them is a multimillionaire, and the other runs his own $4B RE Firm. Maybe it's more like, how bad does 1 want it, or when the going gets tough, the tough gets going 🤷

      @Itsadarkworld34 5 месяцев назад +1

      @VamPSyPoo I just passed my exam yesterday, out here in WA. The more I look into the NAR situation, I'm not even bothered with what might have to happen with the changes. WA has the Statute of Frauds law, so everything between a broker and a client needs to be in writing, but it looks like lawyers made a lot of money off this lawsuit and people who want to buy homes will just have to pay their own agent. If that does get set in stone, nothing won't happen til July, supposedly. But the future looks bright, regardless

    • @cassandravartanian2117
      @cassandravartanian2117 Год назад +3

      agents who get paid commission file taxes as an independent contractor meaning the brokerage doesn’t have to pay worker’s compensation, insurance benefits, etc. On the other hand, if you work as an employee for a broker you can be paid hourly/salary but no commission. Unfortunately it is one or the other

      Good chit! That's what's up. I'm so proud of you! 💪🏾👍🏾 All industries need more of us striving in it! I just passed the test in January on the first try. I actually went too crazy studying for it. I dominated both test. 😂 In pennsylvania. They make you wait 3 years before you can go for your brokers license. But honestly I think I'm ready for my brokers license right now! 🤣🤷🏾‍♂️
      And you're definitely right. You need some kind of a side hustle when you start out in real estate. In pa to meet your commitments to sign on with a brokerage. You need roughly $1,000. (Realtors, 2 day fudiciary class, business cards, yada, etc). I actually have 3 side hustles. (Moving business, painting business, wholesaling business - which also requires a little capital to start). I also had a head hunter reach out to me about a CNC machining job, that pays very well. So I took it. I kind of told myself last year. No more W-2's for me. But It was hard to pass on the offer. And that work is super easy for me. The job encompasses a few of my skills. That are second nature for me.
      But you're 1000% correct. If you don't have a 6 month stipend saved up. Or a rich family member willing to invest in you. It will be hard just to jump right in. With that being said. Never give up on your dream. Envision your success. Then steer the boat right in that direction!
      Thanks for responding. I would love to get up with you some time and pick your brain. 😂❤
