The best investment one can do right now is investing on real estate though stocks are good but ever since I swapped to real estate, I've seen so much difference.
I have been making a lot profit through real estate which has been the main source of my income.
I’m interested I want to move to real estate investment can you help me ?.
Sounds great! please I will appreciate your assistance on how to go about it, who's your coach and how good is your coach?
STEPHINE KOPP MEEKS is who i work with look her
Thanks for recommending i find her and left her message online
This is financial advice and I never give financial advice: DONT LEAVE DURING THE BEAR. If you don’t want to invest…learn. If you don’t want to learn…build. If you don’t want to build observe. DO SOMETHING…other than leave. There is so much opportunity here. Take advantage!
It took me 3 years to stop trying to predict what's about to happen in the market based on charts studying because you never know. Please, i need the help of your Investment advisor.
*ROCHELLE DUNGCA-SCHREIBER* is my portfolio-coach, I found her on Bloomberg where she was featured, I looked up her name on the internet. Fortunately I came across her site and reached out to her, you can verify her yourself.
God bless you for sharing!
I would say SAVE money first! I know that sucks but my husband and I had $10,000 saved when he decided to get his license and with all the monthly expenses and realtor fees on top of that we ended up going broke. We were down to our last five dollars in our account. It was a very difficult time so much stress and so many tears. And then he finally closed his first deal six months later and that saved our butts!! … 2 years later now, I have been so inspired by him and now I’m going to get licensed soon! Really estate changed our life for sure!
My real estate agent allowed me to walk though the house alone while she sat on the back porch. I appreciated her silence. And yes I bought the house.
Bruh…
Actually there are clients like you who prefer to just view the property on their own and there are those who perhaps want to be toured around. I'm in the business and I tell you, at the end of the day the property sells it self unless you are in the market looking for something to flip then some agents can help you by giving you ideas on what you can do with the property. What I do most of the time is just talk a bit about the property, just give the basics and the try to follow them from behind and if they have any questions then I'm there to answer it for them.
I’m getting over extreme social anxiety&want to be a realtor-ty for the feedback. Silence is golden!
@@sooofunny37 same!!
I agree non pushy agents are a breath of fresh air I always try to give my clients space as well. Congratulations
I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for....
@charlotteelizabeth6830 That's actually quite impressive, I could use some Info on your FA, I am looking to make a change on my finances this year as well
@charlotteelizabeth6830 The crazy part is that those advisors are probably outperforming the market and raising good returns but some are charging fees over fees that drain your portfolio. Is this the case with yours too?
@charlotteelizabeth6830 I will give this a look, thanks a bunch for sharing.

I dropped out of college last year to pursue my dream of becoming a real estate agent and it worked. It’s really worth it and I have no regrets. Been an amazing journey but it’s not as easy as I thought anyways
I think they’re too many people in this field now, making the entire process of passing the exam a lot more difficult in the recent time

I’m starting my pre licensing course mid January. I want to be licensed by March. I don’t want to make it into a career, because there’s no guarantee salary. My goal is maybe four sales per year. I plan to get a job as a college professor, and do real estate on the side.
Good helpful advice! Going to start real estate school next month. Excited and nervous but I’m ready for new stage in my life
Hey how’s your experience going??
What a truthful answer. I used to a work with a team before but, I chose to go for a solo and it's great!
May I ask, What's the cons in working in a team? Thanks
I am starting my pre-licensing course soon, and to get a jump start in the business and to start making some connections, I actually obtained a job at a real estate office as an administrator. I have learned soo much so far and look forward to getting my license and can't wait to start selling houses. Good Luck Everyone.

So happy to see an honest video about the expectations and realities of Real Estate, especially for newer agents!
Hello. Thinking on getting my real estate license here in California. You talk about getting a mentor, how can you know who or how to chose a mentor ?
What do you mean by buy and sell real estate?
Does that mean I'll be spending my own money? Please clarify, I'm so confused. 🥴 and what do you mean by business expenses, can you provide examples?
Also, how long did it take you to see a return?
Being 100% new and merely only thinking of getting my license to pursue the life of a RE agent this is a very humbling video!
nice!!
What are the business expenses for the first year? Or an estimate of how much money you need to start? 😊
This was helpful! Every person I speak to that I know (family members, friends) who are agents have all told me to not get involved and it's not worth it, but I also realize those people I know haven't put in the full time and effort into it.

How is it working for you? Im considering getting my license in Spring.
Another video said you get licensed once you get a brokerage? So the state first gives you license and then you go to a brokerage?
Do "leaving your expired packets" work? I'd appreciate knowing more about. Thank you
Thanks for the information, I am interested in being a real estate agent.
Thank you so much I am interested in real estate and your honest experience and opinion is so valuable similar to what I have heard from other folks who seek to generously share their experience thank you again and you're very much appreciated.
Do I have to go under some broker if I only want to use this license to purchase my own future properties ?
I am currently taking my courses and starting to get a little stressed about what is to come in the future, and although this was very realistic and didn’t necessarily calm those nerves lol it was extremely informative and I feel so much more prepared for what I’m getting myself into! I appreciate this a ton, thank you so much!!
sorry another question! in those first 30 days, did you market your real estate at first on your personal instagram/social media, or just create a new account and market that account on ur personal?
Thank you for the good info, I’m process of studying on Practice.
I currently registered for my classes i live in Ohio but i want to move to California within the next year to persue this career. I’m extremely nervous and i don’t know anyone there is their anything you think i should start doing now before i move?
Hi there, what phone does real estate agent uses? Would 1 phone is good or 2 phones is better for business?
How difficult for being a real estate agent? How long it takes for the first sale?
Great video. I had a similar experience. I'd say around 2 years into it you'll know if you're gonna stick with it.
Yes! It takes time to establish yourself… it’s making sure you have the mentality to make it through those first few years!

@@ebonyharbut7641 that's awesome good luck!!
Me too!
Update??
I hear everywhere that agents don’t use anything they learn from the real estate school in order to get their license.
What about the Professional Code of Ethics? What about Finance? What about violating the real estate law? What about the vocabulary, arithmetics, and general information about real estate?
Does that mean agents disregard all of these when they become agents? That seems shiesty and untrue. Wouldn’t new agents be going into the industry completely blind if they didn’t retain any of the required knowledge? Wouldn’t that mean agents aren’t following the Professional Code of Ethics?
Can you do a video explaining this? I think it perpetuates dishonesty in the industry by informing everyone they don’t use anything they learned in real estate school.
Great video! The Realty Task Manager app will help too
Good video! It is a very hard career! But if you put in the time it works. On my 23rd year. So many highs and lows.

I play tennis with one of the biggest commercial and residential real estate agents. Their net worth is like $500 million. And their assets are in the billions. It’s mind boggling how much property they known all around the world. They are the nicest people in the world and invited me into their lives with open arms. I have to say I’m blessed to be around them. I’ve been to their $23 million beachfront Mansion in Malibu and their $14 million mansion near UCLA. Bothe properties are a sight to behold.
That’s amazing you have an opportunity to establish relationships with them! Connections is everything - no matter your industry.
@@chloedeverrier Thank you! Yeah, you’re so right. I’m a massage therapist and songwriter. The wife referred me to her friends that have those big mansions in Beverly Hills. I play tennis with them Tuesdays and Thursdays at a tennis court at a mansion in Beverly Hills. Just being around that energy is intoxicating and inspiring. Are you based in LA?

So let me get this straight... You just spent 6 years getting your Doctorate of Juris Prudence and haven't even started your career as a lawyer and you want to dive into the Real Estate biz? Do you have any idea of the time commitment involved in either line of work and the timeline of getting up and running? Go talk to one of the partners at a law firm and ask them what they think of your idea. You apparently have no life either. Two members of my family and many friends have worked with and as lawyers. Late nights, weekends, seminars, continuing education, making your quota of billable hours. Now add Real Estate on top of that. It is basically the same things except that no one is paying you to work those hours. In order to make a living in Real Estate you need to dedicate the first 4-5 years working your ass off to learn your craft (just like being a lawyer). How much money do you have saved up? The streets are littered with Real Estate Agents who jumped in totally unprepared for all the fees and associated costs. Some Agents don't make a sale in their first year. Can you live on what you have saved up? Are you going to live at home with your parents. Are you going to marry someone rich so you can dabble in law and Real Estate? Honesty, if I were the hiring partner at a law firm and you told me your plan, that would be the end of the interview. If I found out that you were spending all your nights and weekends doing Real Estate and making phone calls or doing showing on company time, I would first have a talk with you and then probably terminate you for not preforming your duties. Did you go to Law School for free? Did you have a scholarship? Did mommy and daddy pay for it? You might want to sit down with an advisor at your school or with the SBA. You need a serious wake up call.
Soo helpful! Great answers and questions !
You described well enough. Keep it up.
What other areas in real estate can one pursue other than Sales?
Very insightful! My younger brother just got his license and that got me thinking about going into the business. I think people who have a good grasp on tech would do well in this business as far as the social networking is concerned. Do you know if making a RUclips channel about all the listings you have will generate more sales? I follow a youtuber who shows her houses and it looks like she has sold alot. 😎👍
I don’t think it will necessarily generate more sales but it will definitely help you build a reputation!
Please don't. We already have too many real estate agents and not enough homes on the market. You do not want to get onto it right now in this current market. Too much competition on trying to get offers accepted. Too many buyers getting discouraged. You will not make much money. It's hard to get an offer accepted anymore. Good luck trying to be a listing agent as a brand new agent in this market. Do something else because you will rip your hair out being an agent right now. Buyers constantly ignoring you and wasting your gas money and time. Not even saying thank you. Buyers not listening to your advice and thinking they know everything when they don't. Buyers spending countless months with you to only go with another agent regardless of the efforts you put in. This career makes you feel worthless and like a shitbag. Don't do it.
@@mannm8658 Well that is completely the wrong mindset to have!
It's not. It's called being realistic which most people can't handle the truth because they're a bunch of whiny snowflakes. Being a real estate agent sucks, because people suck. I didn't realize how much I hate people until getting into this career. And realized it wasn't for me. Every single person is a fucking flaky asshole. Everyone sucks.
I'm thinking about pursuing this career and starting out would with little connections, would it be a advantageous to start to with team? In addition, if/when I decided to go solo, can you take those connections with your OR is there a way to strategically grow your own book of business in order to make the transition into be a solo RE agent more smoooth?
Hi. How is it going for you?
It’s better to start as a team when your starting out you learn more !
Perseverance is key

Thank you for this video Chloe! Do you believe that your social media presence has to align with your real estate image? Do you find a balance of posting professional/ personal?
Yes social media has made an impact! I try to keep most things professional.
You definitely have to be much more aware of what you post and how you post on your social media accounts because as a real estate agent you are always representing your brokerage and your local Association of Realtors even when you are " off duty ". ALWAYS maintain your image as an agent and post professionally and post only tasteful content to any and all of your social media accounts.
Hi Chloe, so I bought the year plan from Prep Agent and have my Real Estate Exam in September. I’m a bit skeptical about prep agent though. I try and complete the practice exams everyday and am learning the vocabulary on prep agent. Is prep agent in fact a good platform to study off of to pass the CA Real Estate Exam? Great video by the way. It was VERY Informative.
Yes! Hands down best choice I personally made. I actually only did their 7 day crash course prior to my exam but I am confident he’s the reason I passed on first try!
@@chloedeverrier hey Chloe what exactly is that crash course and where did you get access to it ? I am also looking into prep agent, but don't know if im going to need to much content.
@@thaniacastro2893 Hi Thania, if you are still in the process: I purchased the year plan from Prep Agent, and it is worth it for me because there is a healthy community of people who are also studying at the same time. So far I have attended two crash courses. In addition to the daily webinars and being consistent with studying everyday, the webinars are helpful. They are ala carte items and you might not need the full subscription to purchase a single webinar. Hope this helps.
Resilience and positivity is key! ☺️
Does real estate class counts to transfer universities?
Maybe I’m just slow but i have a serious question.. how would i go negative? Like what all am i going to be paying for as an agent ?

I have a full time job but need to get into real estate. Is this possible when you work a 40 plus hour work week? I haven't heard any insight on this
I’m kinda interested in being a real estate agent but I’ve heard horrible things about it but honestly I feel like I would enjoy this job I’ll definitely be looking into doing this in another year or so once I finish college, I also heard it’s very expensive for the courses but idc I’m willing to do this and get the license I always imagined myself being a real estate agent.
As a new agent or thinking about becoming an agent is it OK to have a side job to help pay for expenses as you get established as an agent?
Almost everyone starting off as a new agent is dual careered so its totally normal, unless you have a ton of money saved and can afford to then go for it but you definitely need some sort of income until you get yourself established and can be a full time agent.
absolutely a smart idea!!
Of course! I would recommend dedicating your side job to the evening so you can be present with clients or opportunities during the day!

What if I move from one state to another? Do I have to reapply/retake the test for my license or does it just transfer? I live in Ohio and plan to go to college here but then move to LA. And since I’m still in high school, is there a way to get a head start and/or mentor?
You need an active license in any state you choose to work in. If you plan to start your career in LA I would recommend taking the CA exam - unfortunately the license does not transfer. You don’t need a license in Ohio unless you choose to do business there.
