This is super helpful. You are certainly one of my go-to's. Mostly because I like places where I can get honest information--not someone who is trying to upsell me something. Here are a few basic questions: 1) If I used a lawyer to create an LLC for me, are there any risks in using that same info to create additional LLCs in the same state myself (as opposed to spending $1000s each time)? 2) Are there risks in using the documents used in one state in an LLC in another state? Perhaps. My second question is premised on the concern that a law firm not from the state in question may not fine-tune my LLC docs as well as one who does most of their work in-state. For example, if your firm can create LLCs in all 50 states, how do i know I'm getting a good deal and not just Legal Zoom at a lawyer rate? Thanks so much!!!!!
1 - It really depends if there is info that is specific for the business -- like if the owners are different or if the setup is different or it is very different type of business. 2 - state law is different so that might not work (depending on the states involved). I agree that if you want it to be the most fine-tuned it is best to find a lawyer who works mostly in that state.
Welcome - Thanks for making an updated video - Have a Great Valentine's Day 2023
