I’m looking to designate my C Corporation to manage trading activities, with an 80-20 allocation for profits and losses. Would I need to amend the operating agreement to set this up? Hey Elizabeth, I have a virtual address as well as a UPS P.O. box with street address included. is having both a waste of money or is it ok to have the virtual address as my business physical location and the P.O. box as my return shipping address?
Hey, just watched your video from a couple years back on creating an s corp and just had a few questions. So I already submitted the corporation form, do I now have to wait for it to get accepted and approved in order to start on the ein process or can I start on that now? Also, do I need both the ein and the corporation approval to start on the s corp filing?
@@ElizabethPW Just got approved and created my ein. Starting on the a corp filing now, but had a quick question. I’m opening up this company with my dad and there are 10,000 shares. Should we split them all amongst ourselves or are we supposed to keep some on the side?
You can have an LLC in one state and have clients in any other states. You may need to register in those other state(s) as a "foreign LLC" but that depends on many factors, it is not always required

Hm it may make sense to have the PO box as your return shipping -- typically virtual mailboxes charge a lot to handle boxes
When doing a retainer agreement with a lawyer, should it be between my personal legal name or my LLC?
Usually with the LLC, unless you are getting advice to yourself *about* the LLC

Yes it is best to wait, just in case something is wrong and needs to be changed. Yes, you need the EIN to put it on the S Corp paperwork.

If i have LlC a state X and i live in state Y Can i deal with all client in all state or juste in state X or Y

Aren't "Templates" risky and not specific, or is using an attorney, for these type of forms, like killing flies with a shotgun?
Well it would be great if everyone could have an attorney draft or at least review their documents, but that's not realistic for very small businesses
