When I replaced my spark plugs there was oil on them, would replacing the valve cover gasket potentially fix the problem?

On the outside of the plugs? Possibly.

I am currently replacing the distributor o rings on my 94 tracker, and I think this will be my next step. Any advice on where to get the replacement gasket? I see some on Amazon that are apparently designed for older engine with poorer seals, do you think those are worth the money?

I'm a big fan of just getting the stock replacement first. No since trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist. I get almost all of my parts from the local parts store. I don't really mail order much stuff.

Sounds like a plan. If that all doesn’t work, valve seals are my next step. Fingers crossed.
