The allegations against Weinstein were a pack of lies to get compo $$$$$$
Sadly, he is not the only predator in the industry, he’s just one who got caught
That is for sure. And it is not only the men at the top of the industry that do it. It extends all the way down to the college plays level where the actresses don’t even get paid but have to put out to get parts.
@@GodisMyNo1 - this Guteriez model from Italy got one million dollars for Weinstein reaching up her skirt and touching her breasts. My wife said that woman really won the lottery. One million dollars for just Weinstein reaching up her skirt and touching her breast. My wife just wished it could have been her. She said do you know what a difference one million dollars would make in her life of working 2 crap heartless minimum wage jobs 16 hours a day just to be able to buy food and gas and pay rent. My wife said She would let Weinstein do that in a second if she could get one million dollars for it. Then she could quit working 16 hours a day for 2 mean heartless bosses and not have to worry about having money for us to eat. Plus she said she is sure Weinstein is a gentleman compared to the two bastards she works for. She says why couldn’t it have been me with Weinstein instead of a so called model from Italy with a 70 year old sugar daddy. My wife needed the money a lot more than the model who got the one million dollars who probably had plenty of money anyway from modeling. Plus that Italian model is still giving interviews about it and probably get paid plenty of money for those interviews. How can you convict people with no evidence in this day and age as if we are in the SaIem triaIs? Yes, he is in prison unfortunately but only thanks to the tremendous pressure of Me Too that wanted him behind bars at any cost. Weinstein had already lost in the court of public opinion due to the media constant's attacks on him long before he set foot in actual court. What were his chances for a fair trial? He played the "anti-Semitism" card so well that his accusers were silenced. Einstein, Woody Allen and the list goes on and on. The only chance they end up in jail is if a Jew victim starts opening her mouth. Then all the other victims will get their justice too. Sadly, the media is heavily under their control. Idk... Generally trafficking is carried out by women. Occasionally men but even in those cases you still have the female figure somewhere. Where is the female figure
Hey, isn't that what Weinstein said about growing up in the 60s and 70s? As far as Frontline can show me, he was merely acting according to his (tasteless and scummy) values. Only one woman was actually physically assaulted against her will, and even after begging her again to come up to his room, he still does not forcefully pull her into his room and actually rape her, he instead frustratingly tells her goodbye. Every woman interviewed in this documentary reveals the same story of him basically giving it up. Times have changed alright, but facts will always remain facts.

My neighbor drove Weinstein several days while he was here for the Napa Film Festival. He was rude, mean, and so nasty to his wife. When the news came out, I was not surprised.
There was a similar incident at the Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Seattle, Venice, Monterey, Sundance Film Festival. There were articles about Mr. Weinstein being rude, nasty to hotel staff, women being harassed at restaurants, bars, Limousine drivers being berated and other stuff too numerous to mention.
Well, his wife was a very beautiful English girl who probably married him for his wealth, she certainly didn’t marry him for his looks. I hope she and her children have made good lives for themselves.

There was one accuser who had long since left the show business. She was a model back then, but now works as a real estate agent or something. Sociopaths tend to rise to the top in any organization. Also, little known is that sociopaths prefer to promote other sociopaths, giving them amoral loyalists as their lieutenants and guards. Once empowered, surrounded by loyal sociopath underlings, with organizational and personal resources--they become difficult to assail, nearly unaccountable. Women such as those abused by Harvey simply need to swallow their laughable feminist pride, admit they can't lead or organize effective resistance, and find a man who can lead and organize against such abusers. Feminism and its illusions have made women easier prey than ever to the Harvey-monsters of the world.
I am glad that this bully and pervert was brought to justice. Let’s not ignore the fact that powerful people are enabled in every walk of life and therefore, getaway with various forms of power-based abuse.
Sometimes i think of it as a hidden worldwide war... between predatory anti socials and real humans, playing out on all stages, levels of society from household to the higher ups and often ending up in straight out war between countries where one is the aggressor, the other the victim.
Abused ? Do you honestly think they weren't willing participants? If he'd offer me a role in a movie for millions I would suck him off and I a straight male. These ladies are just dirty their careers went nowhere
@@alainvosselman9960 Yes, this kind of conduct is ubiquitous
He may have been a bully, but there is no evidence that he is a r*pist. None if his accusers had any evidence against him other than accusations. No police reports, no DNA evidence, no medical reports, no r*pe kits, no S T D tests, no witnesses, nothing. Guilt by accusation shouldnt be the basis for a conviction. Funny how everyone forgets that the vast majority of his accusers are the same ones who sIobbered all over Weinstein for so many years in countless pictures and videos of them attending Weinstein parties. They loved him when he was making them rich and famous, but g.anged up on him as soon as he was targeted by Me Too.
Weinstein never had any accuser before Me Too existed, but men like Clinton and Trump who are more powerful than Harvey have had public accusers since the 90s.
How come women werent afraid to accuse very powerful men like Trump and Clinton, but they were supposedly afraid of a film producer like Harvey? Please.
They all used him and used him and used him to advance their career, and then made him the fall guy for Hollywood's collective faults
@@GodisMyNo1 Well there can be an explanation to that. Trump and Clinton might have been players, doing stuff rather playfully well knowing they are doing wrong but it wouldn't install the kind of utter fear one would experience being raped by a bully. The threat must surely come across very intense and it might block someone from taking any steps. It happens so much. My older sister suffered severe dv and never told anyone, she got murdered in the end.
That being said, i was abused by women and understand quite well that there's indeed also a big chance things are as you say. Anti socials are opportunists and if that is what they are they will definitely grab that opportunity for their own gain. It can get them attention and money. So i respect your view.
It's a massive issue in every societies , and cultures in the world...

Respect to Seth for saying what he did at the Oscar’s. Too bad others didn’t have his courage and speak out as well before it became trendy. I’m glad it has finally become a majority collective thought form that abuse of power will not be tolerated - not in any form.
Sad that it’s taken so long
Dream on. It is just a phase. Some people in power positions will abuse their power one way or another. Specially people sitting too long on power positions are tend to lose their ability to see what is morally right and wrong. Especially successful people. I am quiet certain this will go on in a while. Only now it gets a bit lower until the publicity has become old news.
Then "wrecking ball" Ricky Gervais gave everyone a reminder that the problem isn't just one man.
Yes, good on Seth. However, remember that Seth employs himself and creates his own content. He is the boss in his work environment, and doesn't rely on HW or anyone else to be rich and famous. So, he has nothing to lose.
@@computerjantje It was as a 20 year Phase for HW…or longer.
So THAT's what happened to Sean Young (the actress from Blade Runner). She was such an integral part of what made Blade Runner such a memorable and impactful film, so I was always puzzled that we never saw much of her after that. Her star was meant to take off! The man was a narcissistic prxck, and an ugly, gluttonous one at that. You should take comfort from the notion that if he could make it to the dizzy heights in Hollywood, then so can you!

I honestly thought that NDA's were only used to protect intellectual property of a company. But the fact they are legal to protect crimes is absolutely insane.
It doesn't protect crimes
@@yespls4184 clearly they did
Most applicable comment.
They cannot actually be used to protect crimes - if an NDA says you can't disclose the details of a crime it is un-enforceable. However, they are very powerful tools for intimidation. You might believe it is legally enforceable or you might know it isn't but be very aware that none of that matters when you are going up against someone with the financial ability to out-lawyer you. Unfortunately, the law protects people with money much more than it protects victims.
@@Lynsey17 Well put.
Can we be honest about this? How many of these women could have said no and walked out the door? C'mon now?
So the first woman Katherine in this documentary chooses to get a ride home with Harvey and decides to go into his apartment with him. These stories are ridiculous.
These people are not naive children but grown adults. They have buyers remorse.
Sean Young ruined her own career. She was mentally unhinged. It was because of her behavior in the early 90s. Sean wanted to play Cat Woman in Tim Burton's Batman Returns but Burton didn't want her. So Sean starts dressing up as Cat Woman in public an in interviews she did professing she is the real Cat Woman. Her career went down hill after that.
A lot of them had consensual sex with him to break into the business. I am sure they didn't want to but they certainly chose to.
It used to be 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous'. Now it Sexlives of the Rich and Ugly.
Why is Oprah Winfrey never mentioned in these documentaries? She was a good friend of Harvey Weinstein. I remember a story of Oprah with a young woman who wanted to be an actress, it even showed a short tape of this. Then Harvey walks out to surprise the young woman who was of course caught off guard and very excited because he was going to give her a shot at stardom. Oprah was all smiles and she had to have heard the stories going around about his behavior being a powerful person herself but remained his friend until at least the allegations were proven to be true. I don’t know about now but has certainly distanced herself from him never mentioning his name. I just wonder whatever happened to that poor young woman Oprah set her up with meeting this POS. A picture was also shown of Oprah kissing him on the cheek one time! Makes you wonder 😮
Because Oprah is part of the Illuminati set-up. She is a witch (Using words to cast spells) How do you make a word? You spell it. The better you are with words the greater power you have to manipulate people. We are word driven creatures. You have to understand that everyone on TV is part of the Masonic setup. They are employed to keep you in a trance so you dont see what is really happening in the world around you or they are used to manipuate your thoughts so that you will act in a certain way. This is why its called "TV programming".
Oprah has a lot in common with Weinstein. A lot.
Don’t be fooled about Oprah

He's not the only one
A lot of people enable this behaviour
A lot of people stayed silent
People could have refused but money and fame matter more
Hollywood as a whole is crap
And a LOT of his accusers willingly slept with him for fame and money, and now they play the v.ictim just to save face. It takes two to tango

And a lot of his a.ccusers s.Iept with him for fame and money, and cry v.i.c.t.i.m to save their face. And people like you believe everything they say
How is that different to normal women? The conviction rape for rape in the US is something like 5%. That's what they bother to take to court, and they don't bother to take to court most cases that are reported to the police and most people don't report in the first place because nobody takes it seriously in our culture. Minor property crime is more serious and you get scum like Bela here running defence with the "womz be whores" and "muh poor men with all the false accusations!" and "what was she wearing" and "why was she out at night?".
You don't seem to understand what women's position is. You speak up you get ruined. It's not just in Hollywood. A job isn't optional. You need to work to survive to keep a roof over your head. We're second every. single. time. Our complaints? Lol deal with it. You just deal with dick picks, and porn at work and being groped (all of which I've experienced at work and the response? Mgmt put out a weak "hey maybe don't watch porn at work in front of the women" and they continued to do it and in some cases it got worse out of spite because how dare women speak up. HOW. DARE. those bitches ask me - ME - to make any sacrifice or changes. IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII should be allowed to watch porn at work in front of anyone I like!
The casting couch has been around since forever. A lot of women and even men have been to hell and back. Hollywood never was a clean place to be nor will it ever be i think. Sad beyond sad
Unpopular opinion here. The women who slept with Harvey have illustrious careers. Those who didn't are unknown. So there are those who said NO and those who said YES, albeit reluctantly. Those who said YES have no right to judge Harvey. They are just as rotten as he was.

If there weren't so many sex offenders hiding in the industry, in the government, in the churches, and hiding behind police badges, these monsters might be given maximum sentences the first time and every time.
and the sentences would be longer. remember it waz only a few decades ago that children and women were classed as property. get married and the man could sexually assault you and it was not even against the law. ironically ans sadly, actual literal property is more respected legally than extreme violence.
