I like that you show the end result of the job. Not only get the satisfaction of watching it drain, but getting to see all the water gone after is a treat.
I never realized how destructive beavers could be to a forest. Thank you for showing the end results of draining that water. I really enjoyed the sound of the ice breaking.
Great Job! It’s amazing how well built those dams are! No human made dam could have 50% or more of its structure removed and it still stay standing! Ron
That is utterly amazing. Sir, you do a sensational job and it must be so rewarding. That is a job that I would actually love to do. Keep up the amazing work and stay safe.
That was impressive dam and impressive tear down by y’all, definitely did not hurt having some help on this day.great video, great job.that was a lot of water draining.just continue doing what your doing and on to the next project.be safe 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Another New Zealander here. 1100 now. Great job on the dam. Well done! Just trying to crudely estimate the volume of water released (width x length x depth). I'm taking a pure guesstimate of how far back the lake went: 50m x 60m x 1.7m = 5,100 m3. That's a decent size volume of water to send downstream for such a small catchment. Your videos are always interesting to watch. Beavers really are the kings of dam building in the animal world.
What about a couple pieces of rebar welded into a grappling hook, a long length of rope and a come along. Hook the branches at the bottom of the dam on the deep side, tie off to a large tree downstream a way then winch it in with the come along to pull branches out, thus weakening the dam and causing a collapse. You'll still need to use shovels and rakes , but it might speed the process up a bit. Just a thought...........
I always have an image in my head of a beaver further downstream that’s built a dam, they are surveying their work when your flood appears on the horizon, they are either delighted at the amount of water filling their pool or they are saying to themselves ‘where the f did that come from?’. 😀
You can tell this is not being done in the U.S., not because of the accents/language, but because of they are not using a giant bag of tannerite and rifle to remove the beaver dam.
You should try a big metal hook made of something like rebar attached to a ratchet strap you can tie around nearby trees. Then pull the dams over. would make great videos if it worked.
This is the sort of dam that needs an excavator to rip it all down! I am in Australia, where it is currently 39c today and has been over 30c for the past 2 months. Watching you with all that snow and ice around, and all that lovely cold water flowing, is making me feel the coolest I have in many days!
That’s massive Ken how on earth are you going to get rid of all that wood , you and your friend must be really cold especially with freeze on; take care friend ❤
If You would like to be part of my activity! I would be very grateful: www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=BNUME5JQY4CLU
@EternallyGod but he WORKS to destroy those dams. Street beggars don't.

if there are beavers still there, why are they doing this in the winter? why not spring so they have a chance to go elsewhere?
That was definitely a Good one
I never realized how destructive beavers could be to a forest. Thank you for showing the end results of draining that water. I really enjoyed the sound of the ice breaking.
That was the largest one so far this year. Very nice!
Largest ever✌️😀
that was incredible, I love the sound of the ice cracking as the level drops. very nice.
Thanks
Thank you very much!
Nice to hear the sound of the thin ice being crushed by your feet while walking to see water level dropped.. a job well done! 😊👍💪✌
That was a big one perhaps the largest one you have done so far well done Mantas
Mr Beaver is definitely not going to give you a like on this video after all the hard work he put in building that dam. Well done Sir.
WOW - it drained completely
That will drain for some time, glad you had help on this monster. Watching you jump on top was a little nerve-wracking.
That was an amazing after shot. That was a crazy amount of water. I love the ice left behind.
Great Job! It’s amazing how well built those dams are! No human made dam could have 50% or more of its structure removed and it still stay standing!
Ron
A big dam that's been there for a long time. Great job you guys did.
Hello from Massachusetts USA! It's amazing how much water can be held back by a structure made by small animals!
Your from post 10s area aren't you?
@@johnmason6645 I don't think he comes to my part of the state...he stays in the western part and I'm on the east coast.
The sheets of ice are so interesting to see. Thank you Ken.
Wow, lots of water!😮

This dam was HUGE!!! So glad you had someone to help you because there’s no way you could have done it alone.
That was quite a job. Well done.👏
Great job thank god you had someone with you
Great job that was some very hard work. You’re so good at what you do you’re very thorough.
Forgot to tell you where I'm from. Tucson Arizona USA.

That water had to be freezing cold. You are amazing and a very hard worker.

Just a thought...........
Three sticks of dynamite. That's how we used to do it
This was a really good one I didn't expect the water flow to be so little at the end
Impressive Dam wow
Really good video.. hard work deep smelly mud ..😮
Greetings from the BIG SKY. of Montana.
You are absolutely amazing!!!!!!!
I wonder if any body is ever down stream having a lovely walk and then, BAM!!! Flash flood with no cloud in sight🤣
Just some hysterical beaver's screaming in the distance WHAT'S MANTIS DONE NOW GUYS.
Hi, I'm from Tasmania. You do great job.
That was a tough old dam holding back a staggering amount of water. Guess it had to be tough with all that pressure on it!
This sounds like a waterfall, that is a lot of water movement!
they will have some angry beavers tonight
Einfach super...👌🏼👍🏼🤌🏼🍻
WOW unbelievable. Great work guys.😊
That was one of your best. Thanks for sharing.
Great job!! Do you enjoy making us nervous when you jump up and down on a dam you are trying to collapse?????

Ha ha 😊
They are probably saying hey that's my house!
Those damn beavers MUST HAVE USED RE-INFORCING in that dam.!!
Very satisfying, great job well done Mantis
Excellent work in very cold temperatures well done 🎉
Thank you very much!❤️
This was awesome. Such a huge amount of water.
Great job!
Keep up the great videos. Great aerial drone footage as well!

Nice job!! Thank you!
The master piece...
Wow. Awesome. Great job.
THAT was interesting!!!! You scared me jumping on top! Yikes😮
Such a nice flow! Very many kubic meters of water per second!
Yeah!
I love hearing the ice make pinging and cracking noises. That drained well, great work
very mad beavers!!!
That dam was huge!
Why did the Beaver cross the road.......
To go to a moletell....👍👍👍
Well done Mantas
Wow great job 😮😮😊😊
Greetings from the BIG SKY.

Go away
Changing the ecosystem there.
Great Draining!
Great job!
Good job 👏
A pair of boots that works as hard as you do for two years is pretty amazing.
Yeah!
Fantastic
Super satisfying tho thanks
Cool video. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
Thanks!
Thank you very much Stephen!
Hermoso trabajo. Podría activar la opción "Traducción" Gracias. Saludos de Argentina
Looks like there might be another dam down stream
Yes, small one.
Greetings, Mantas from the USA! Love your videos! Hope you little family is well! ❤️
I tried to patch the holes in my waders and the only thing I found in Montana to fix the hole was a bicycle inner tub patch kit.
Just a couple of hours for an eager beaver to fix that hole.
Mini excavator would be handy
Yeah!
물빠지는거 시원~하다
nice one !
Was this the ufo/mushroom place ???
🤷🏼♂️😁Looks like the BIG drop!!!???
Yeah!;)
@@Kenislovas I could tell😎!!!
You can tell this is not being done in the U.S., not because of the accents/language, but because of they are not using a giant bag of tannerite and rifle to remove the beaver dam.
Yeah, but the tannerite trick would have been spectacular once they had it cut under.
You should make one side of your shovel or edge very sharp. I use mine to chop things as I’m digging.
Impressive
Wonder if a pickax might help with the break up? At least at first.
You should try a big metal hook made of something like rebar attached to a ratchet strap you can tie around nearby trees. Then pull the dams over. would make great videos if it worked.

Pusę miško bebras iškirto kad pastatytų tokią užtvanka 😮😮😮
Great video as always, hello to your friend that was helping you, looking forward to next video. How is the design coming along for your house
7:48 😂 lol
This was a huge and very old one. Respect! Good job. How solid was the foundation of this dam? Unbelivable😮
