Completely Draining Flooded Pond By Unclogging Bridge With Massive Surge Of Water

- I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

I picture Mr. and Mrs Beaver sitting in their lodge when they notice the pond level dropping. They look at each other and say "POST 10!!!!"
The Beaver Dam Terminator. I'll be back. l
Mrs Beaver probably has babies in this season, so it's all up to Mr Beaver to do the scouting and maintenance. And in a month or 2 he will go help with the parenting and teach the youngsters how to be a beaver. And then they all work together to undo the work of the Bogeyman With The Rake

Life isn't life without Post 10!
I watch you everyday and not ever get tired of your posted video vlogs extras, and etc.
I really enjoy your camping videos, and your backyard updates with the frog ponds.
Thank you for all that you do ❤
I've literally just watched one where he camped in a culvert for the night in winter with the silver blankets as wind breaks.
I think this is probably the best beaver dam video I've seen from you. Watching the water flow through the dam at the beginning was cool, you got to see big chunks of debris getting washed away, you could see the water quality change when a new layer of silt was disturbed, and that beautiful Primary Pond at the end.
Easily number 1 of my top 5! Nice job.
Very interesting and relaxing. Enjoyed watching open up the blockage. Showed things I would have never noticed before. Thank you for clearing the blockage. 😉
Excelente, buen trabajo. Saludos desde México
One beaver is probably saying another beaver. That dam guy is breaking apart the dam. Your videos are entertaining to watch.
Mr, Beaver To Mrs. Beaver, Dang Ma, We Gotta Start All Over!! Let's Get To Work!!☹️
How many times did you bang your head on the bridge??
Post 10 for President! 😜
I am 63 and when I watch your videos I am 12 years old playing in the creek.
Beaver dams are important and are a good thing!
Yep. I'm 60. We used to dam up the creek just to let 'er rip.
@@DG-kq8zf Beavers are good for the environment. When not affecting traffic, they enhance the environment with their dams.
@guyfawkesuThe1 I never said they were, or they weren't. I imagine it could go both good and bad depending on where. There could be legitimate pros and cons in certain areas, I'm sure.
I'm 61 so that must mean that I am 11 hangin' out with 1960Murf playin' in the creek
The sound of the water flowing is so soothing. Thanks!
I immediately had to pee though 😂

I'm over politics, I just wanna watch P10
As someone who was very into politics before, I saw this video pop up and my reaction was "Oh thank God!" Thanks for unclogging my day!
Sitting down and was hoping for a new video!!! Thanks for saving the night Post!!!❤
I am doing the same now
Me also...😂😂😂
Amen to that !
OK, I really miss the drain unclogging but this... this was pretty epic
A major unclogging, with bonus moose: that's a win-win!!
Where is the moose?

@@paradox11111111 Oh thanks
It’s always a miracle how these beavers build these berms. How stable and well constructed. Thanks again for that video.
like God put it there, I am always impressed!
There's no such thing as beavers. This was the work of Sasquatch.
The size of this one was huge! Was a bit afraid for you of the rushing water. Over the years just realize your quite aware of what you doing. Appreciate Post. Beautiful area, nice to get a glimpse of momma and baby moose. ALOT of water. ♥️👍🪵🦫🪵
Finally! Someone who can drain the swamp!!
Shrek will NOT be amused 😂

Great job. The local road authorities owe you a great thank and should purchase you new tools!
I like how you show the second dam and point out that it isn't harming anything and you won't mess with it. Not all beaver dams are bad. Keep up the great content!
You must be exceptionally strong and fit because to do this type of excruciating work almost non-stop is amazing!
There's going to the gym fit...and then there's "Ripping Apart A Massive Beaver Dam" fit!!!
Agreed
This looks like one of your most dangerous unclogs yet. Stay safe!
He started as a guy who was unclogging flooded streets just for the fun of it. And now he's saving an entire ecosystem. Post has come a long way in his journey.
"...saving..." ?
Saving economy system - not ecosystem.
@@fjb4932 yeah , he saved those trees from drowning.
I need to go back and see some of his older stuff then! I came to this channel because another guy I watch recommended it. I wasn't disappointed at all!

Biden blew it. But your statement is still valid!
I agree 100%
I'd rather watch this than 2 bone head gas bags flapping their gum.😅😅😅😅😅
Watching someone put in hard work to aid his neighborhood and environment, or watching two senile codgers blow hot air and accomplish nothing… Hard choice lol
Thanks Post, I really needed to watch something positive to keep my spirits up and then your video popped up!
same here.
Post 10 is the modern day Bob Ross. Fixing happy little accidents and loving nature.
So much debris to clear! We’re always cheering for you. You are awesome post. Do take care. What you do is not easy. Keep safe.
The amount of biodiversity and natural processes occurring there are incredible. Thank you for taking the walk and showing us more of the landscape.
I love this guys voice. He’s like the Bob Ross of dam and drain clog removal.
Wow that was sketchy! I know you wouldn’t put yourself in danger, but still scary.
One of the few channels completely devoid of politics, drama, and bullshit. Keep it up Post10!
But there's always 🫎 💩 and stinky gas bubble water!😂
This one has to be in a top 10 of P10. Epic teardown!
So, I'm spending an hour watching a very mundane thing because the noise makes my ears happy and there's a thrill of danger for the guy on screen. My dudes, we're watching NASCAR.
I know you're trained. I know your careful. I know, I know, I know. But this had me saying "be careful!" as though you could hear me!
Me too, but then I figured if he had met his demise we wouldn't be watching.
Especially when he fell backwards that one time.😮
Same!
NICE!
B1: “Hey Shirl, what’s all that noise”
B2: “No idea, Earl”
• Hey Shirl, feel that! The water’s moving. It’s almost, like, it’s FLOWING somewhere.
• Well, go check out the bridge.
• AUGH!! It’s that Post10 animal that moose warned u about!
• NOOOO! Let’s get to the reserves! We have to stop it!
• Stop Earl - you know we can’t do anything until it leaves
• But the water level! You know what I’ll betcha it’s that family from 2 miles downstream. They’ve ALWAYS been envious!
• Oh stop. I’m telling you the stories are true - it DOES exist!
• We’ll catch my tail in a pile of 🫎 💩 We’ll just have to wait until dark. We’ve done it before. Only thing is we’ll have to tolerate all those annoying little fish.
• True, Earl. True.
the fishes chilln and all of a sudden.... chaos !
Years later and he’s still at it, great work providing a public service!
I think you asked once if we would even watch long unedited videos like this, and judging by the 250k views, the answer is a resounding yes. I love these long videos too. Its like having the soothing sounds of a waterfall, and the satisfaction if seeing everything unclogged.
I like watching the grass clumps and debris pop up and then go over where you have removed the dam 11:20. It is like you are in an old video game trying to avoid the obstacles.
Do you ever get thank you’s from the logging companies if they happen to see you up there doing this, or have any seen your vids and contacted you?
He's been hired by them on occasion to check culvert conditions and flag them
Thanks Post! 👊🏻👍🏻 Appreciate you my friend 🙏🏻
You have to appreciate how well constructed that dam is with the interlaced sticks and mud.
This is a big one. I love to see how hard he works to get the job done. I also rather watch post 10 instead of the debate. But I always love to watch him instead of most things. Good job today. Keep up the good work. The beavers may hate you but I love you for what you do
Men see Post10 men click, men happy
Hey post, have you ever got attacked by a beaver before? Maybe you have it on camera?
1 time yes
Much rather watch Post 10 and his moose anytime 👍
Great camera angle, really shows the water line and drop.
Man, that was a lot of effort for a huge dam. But totally worth it.
Makes me chuckle to think those cars crossing the bridge had no idea you were underneath them busting that dam wide open
A tool you should try out is a mason pick. One end looks like a pickaxe, and the other end is a big flat chopper. Good way to split small wood, and would bust up something like a dam pretty well. We used one for gardening, as it chops through green roots like nothing.
These unclogging videos have helped me keep my sanity in the last 4 years
Think about how many trips those little guys made, carrying two or three sticks at a time. To see it all washed away. Like our lives in a way🤣🇺🇸
That got dark quickly!
Loved watching this. BEST ASMR FOR SLEEP. I was worried about your head the higher you climbed up the damn.
There once was a large beaver den, the size of at least three grown men, 'till this dude came around, and ripped that thing down, just another day in the life of Post Ten.
I wonder how many beaver hours that took to build. wow
Thank god no Zombie Moose like last year that was insane
Exactly what I've been waiting for.
You are a living bulldozer
I'll be 78 next week but this reminds me of clearing out a stream near my fort when I was 12. Wonderful memories of a great time in my life. I love the sound of this video.
Be careful under those bridges. The dam might be the only thing holding it up.
Started this video while waiting for a game to finish updating. 15 minutes in, a notification popped up saying the update was finished. I still finished the entire video -- that's how fascinating your adventures are. :) Know that you will forever have a fan in me. Much love from the Philippines. 😊😊😊
Good job on that. You should invest in a hardhat if you're going to be working that close to I-beams
Heck yeah!!! 1h + with Post10 , I'll take it all day long 👌
Post 10, I have an idea for a future Video for you. Every Moose you see over a year, make one video with all of them. 1 or 2 hours of Moose video. :) love the content. some of your videos remind of places I used to ride motorcycles in East TN.
OMG! The fact that you were willing to attack that monster downstream, safely, proves that you know what you are doing. Thanks for sharing!!!
Someone please code an app for relaxation/sleep, where it's just the sounds of Post 10 unclogging or removing dams.
Every now and then a seductive voice whispers "big high boots", "beaver deceiver", "oh wow", "hello everyone", or "idiot excavator".

And "look at those spiders!!!"
Do I have to? Not a spider fan!
@@MelanieCravensYeah, that’s the only downside to these incredible videos. I’m arachnophobic and really would rather not be introduced to Postie’s spider friends lol.
There is an app for that. It's called RUclips! With premium you can just turn the screen off and relax to the gentle sounds and occasional.. whhhOOOOOP! When he syncs the cameras 😊
awesome moose sighting!
Rake companies should be sponsoring your videos. Go post 10! Go!!!
This man is a asset to your country... rienie from Cape Town South Africa
That's a huge beaver dam. Your hard work always pays off to accomplish satisfaction.😊❤
The volume of water being held back!😮 I have to keep reminding myself you are always careful.
Also, beaver dams will not give way easily.
It amazes me how strong the beavers can build these dams. It takes a lot of muscle to release areas bit by bit. And then in a couple of days, they repair it.
I watched the debate too but the only debate I'm having now is...whats gonna sneak up on Post? An angry beaver or protective mommy moose that was in the pond...lol. Thank you again for this video. This will most definitely help me sleep and then I'll rewatch tomorrow😂😊
Let’s see… 🤔
Watch two grumpy old men yell at each other or watch Post10 dismantling a beaver dam?
Definitely Post10, no contest.
I’ll learn about what happened in the debate tomorrow through memes.
Right on !!
Could the beavers be relocated out West? People out West are trying to reverse desertification by using beavers.
Some supposedly are
Start trapping? Sell em to FWC alive and cranky?
You were so fortunate to see the Moose Mama 8 Baby! Those beavers sure did pack a lot in under that bridge. Listening to the rushing water was refreshing and relaxing. The beaver's scout will go back to the den and report, " That fellow has been here again! We gotta get busy soon!" Oh, you found their lodge! Neat! What a beautiful lake and swamp! I love swamps. Every kids should have the chance to explore and enjoy them. About 45 years ago I agreed to keep a friend's little 4 yr. old boy for the afternoon. Other families were coming down to fish and play in the water so he would just be one more kid. Well... his mama said he wasn't allowed to go outside or get dirty- He came with his dolls and some toys. As soon as his parents left we put shorts on him and some sandals and he went outside with everybody else to play like a normal kid! He had the best time and got dirty and caught a fish and some frogs. His mama had a kiniption fit when they picked him up. She told me he had NEVER BEEN DIRTY in his life! We bathed and dressed him and he started crying to stay with us! His daddy was laughing and said they would come back! You are living the dream being outside! Keep bringing us along!
A happy ending! I always traveled with a complete change of clothes for my son when he was young. If I had a boy who never got dirty, I don’t know what I would do with him because I’m the one he is following out into the water, sand, etc.
My Mom hated dirt, smells. And dirt and smells were my natural elements. I was not her favorite person.
Never exposed to dirt and germs equals a life full of allergies
You should be made an honorary member of the famous 617 squadron of the RAF, the dam buster squadron.
It’s incredible how well that dam held up against you and the water. The beaver dambuster strikes again. 😊
At what age did you graduate high school.and then college please..😊
Finally! A dam worthy of Post 10's skills. Good job, dude.
Awesome skills with that beaver dam! Great work, it sure is a pleasure to spend this time hearing the water and seeing the effects of your work. Thanks so very much. I’m about burned out on politics.😊
Postie to the rescue! I love watching you do your duty to culverts and mankind. You're a legend not just in New England, but all over this culvert clearing community ❤
The rushing water is putting me to sleep. Make a white noise video!
How beautiful and majestic! Keep up the awesome work. If you ever feel like you don't matter.... Forget that!! You are a great person
I would love to see what happens if, after clearing the first layer of sticks away, you try jamming a 6 foot pry bar deep into the dam and wiggle it around a bunch. Seems like it would do some serious damage to the dam’s internal structure and loosen it up a lot.
Those are expensive! The SnapOn man would own me for a year for a set of 2-6ft ones!
You are the superman of beaver dam removal. Love your videos they are the best.
Post, I've seen you take on some crazy blockages, but this is your best!
