Mrs Beaver probably has babies in this season, so it's all up to Mr Beaver to do the scouting and maintenance. And in a month or 2 he will go help with the parenting and teach the youngsters how to be a beaver. And then they all work together to undo the work of the Bogeyman With The Rake
@guyfawkesuThe1 I never said they were, or they weren't. I imagine it could go both good and bad depending on where. There could be legitimate pros and cons in certain areas, I'm sure.
I like how you show the second dam and point out that it isn't harming anything and you won't mess with it. Not all beaver dams are bad. Keep up the great content!
The size of this one was huge! Was a bit afraid for you of the rushing water. Over the years just realize your quite aware of what you doing. Appreciate Post. Beautiful area, nice to get a glimpse of momma and baby moose. ALOT of water. ♥️👍🪵🦫🪵
He started as a guy who was unclogging flooded streets just for the fun of it. And now he's saving an entire ecosystem. Post has come a long way in his journey.
I need to go back and see some of his older stuff then! I came to this channel because another guy I watch recommended it. I wasn't disappointed at all!
I think you asked once if we would even watch long unedited videos like this, and judging by the 250k views, the answer is a resounding yes. I love these long videos too. Its like having the soothing sounds of a waterfall, and the satisfaction if seeing everything unclogged.
I'll be 78 next week but this reminds me of clearing out a stream near my fort when I was 12. Wonderful memories of a great time in my life. I love the sound of this video.
You must be exceptionally strong and fit because to do this type of excruciating work almost non-stop is amazing! There's going to the gym fit...and then there's "Ripping Apart A Massive Beaver Dam" fit!!!
Watching someone put in hard work to aid his neighborhood and environment, or watching two senile codgers blow hot air and accomplish nothing… Hard choice lol
Life isn't life without Post 10! I watch you everyday and not ever get tired of your posted video vlogs extras, and etc. I really enjoy your camping videos, and your backyard updates with the frog ponds. Thank you for all that you do ❤
NICE! B1: “Hey Shirl, what’s all that noise” B2: “No idea, Earl” • Hey Shirl, feel that! The water’s moving. It’s almost, like, it’s FLOWING somewhere. • Well, go check out the bridge. • AUGH!! It’s that Post10 animal that moose warned u about! • NOOOO! Let’s get to the reserves! We have to stop it! • Stop Earl - you know we can’t do anything until it leaves • But the water level! You know what I’ll betcha it’s that family from 2 miles downstream. They’ve ALWAYS been envious! • Oh stop. I’m telling you the stories are true - it DOES exist! • We’ll catch my tail in a pile of 🫎 💩 We’ll just have to wait until dark. We’ve done it before. Only thing is we’ll have to tolerate all those annoying little fish. • True, Earl. True.
This is a big one. I love to see how hard he works to get the job done. I also rather watch post 10 instead of the debate. But I always love to watch him instead of most things. Good job today. Keep up the good work. The beavers may hate you but I love you for what you do
Started this video while waiting for a game to finish updating. 15 minutes in, a notification popped up saying the update was finished. I still finished the entire video -- that's how fascinating your adventures are. :) Know that you will forever have a fan in me. Much love from the Philippines. 😊😊😊
Postie to the rescue! I love watching you do your duty to culverts and mankind. You're a legend not just in New England, but all over this culvert clearing community ❤
Man, that was a lot of effort for a huge dam. But totally worth it. Makes me chuckle to think those cars crossing the bridge had no idea you were underneath them busting that dam wide open
You were so fortunate to see the Moose Mama 8 Baby! Those beavers sure did pack a lot in under that bridge. Listening to the rushing water was refreshing and relaxing. The beaver's scout will go back to the den and report, " That fellow has been here again! We gotta get busy soon!" Oh, you found their lodge! Neat! What a beautiful lake and swamp! I love swamps. Every kids should have the chance to explore and enjoy them. About 45 years ago I agreed to keep a friend's little 4 yr. old boy for the afternoon. Other families were coming down to fish and play in the water so he would just be one more kid. Well... his mama said he wasn't allowed to go outside or get dirty- He came with his dolls and some toys. As soon as his parents left we put shorts on him and some sandals and he went outside with everybody else to play like a normal kid! He had the best time and got dirty and caught a fish and some frogs. His mama had a kiniption fit when they picked him up. She told me he had NEVER BEEN DIRTY in his life! We bathed and dressed him and he started crying to stay with us! His daddy was laughing and said they would come back! You are living the dream being outside! Keep bringing us along!
A happy ending! I always traveled with a complete change of clothes for my son when he was young. If I had a boy who never got dirty, I don’t know what I would do with him because I’m the one he is following out into the water, sand, etc.
I like watching the grass clumps and debris pop up and then go over where you have removed the dam 11:20. It is like you are in an old video game trying to avoid the obstacles.
I broke my ankle two weeks ago and I’m fairly non mobile at the moment… Post 10 is the most cathartic channel I watch. This has been one of my favorite clearings I’ve watched yet!! Keep up the great work!
I'm very envious of this young man's strong back. Watching his videos, I can feel the pain searing from my hips, to my knees. So many of us couldn't do this if we wanted to.
Finally a RUclips video not related to politics. I definitely needed to see this video. Thanks for all you do. I remember watching a couple of your videos involving unclogging street drainage. This is very cinematic and very concerning to me honestly. I wish our government resources would be more focused on protecting our environment and infrastructure such as the ones shared on your platform. Good job and I sincerely appreciate your continued efforts to protect the environment. Very well done.
I think this is probably the best beaver dam video I've seen from you. Watching the water flow through the dam at the beginning was cool, you got to see big chunks of debris getting washed away, you could see the water quality change when a new layer of silt was disturbed, and that beautiful Primary Pond at the end.
One of your most satisfying videos in a while. Working conditions must have sucked, but man, watching that gap of daylight grow, very satisfying and relaxing. To watch. Anyhoo, thanks man, and great job!
Wow! What a great video, my friend. You are doing a great job taking care of your back, and that will help you in the long-term. Make sure that you have two rakes with you when you go out to work.
This is the first time I've ever seen one of your videos It was fascinating watching you clear the dam. I'm sure the fish were happy to have fresh water to swim in at long last too Will definitely watch more Thanks for sharing 💐
I'm always spellbound. I love your persistence and knowledge of the area. I feel a tad sorry for the beavers because they are so determined. Thanks for these wonderful videos.
Awesome skills with that beaver dam! Great work, it sure is a pleasure to spend this time hearing the water and seeing the effects of your work. Thanks so very much. I’m about burned out on politics.😊
A tool you should try out is a mason pick. One end looks like a pickaxe, and the other end is a big flat chopper. Good way to split small wood, and would bust up something like a dam pretty well. We used one for gardening, as it chops through green roots like nothing.
I remember this location. I remember commenting in the previous video that I like seeing Post 10 unclogging the dam from the front, and how the angle of view (which is similar/equal to the one in this during unclogging) is something that I like. Was earlier in the day thinking of this location and wondering if you will be revisiting this and see how it is, and here it is. You could have used a hard hat in view of the beams and low head room that you have, but that does not take away the fact that this is yet another great unclogging with the same view that I like. Thank you Post. I had a great time viewing this video ^ ^
When you watch this you realise just how amazing beavers are at building dams , I'm in the UK and they're gradually reintroducing them to try and help with the flooding problems on our floodplains. Another great video, thankyou

for a while I wondered why the description section of the guy that I would watch eat old food gave a warning about unclogging things. This video here has given me a whole new respect for both the old food guy and beaver dams, that thing was way sturdier that I really ever thought they would be, thanks for the content
Post 10, I have an idea for a future Video for you. Every Moose you see over a year, make one video with all of them. 1 or 2 hours of Moose video. :) love the content. some of your videos remind of places I used to ride motorcycles in East TN.

It’s always a miracle how these beavers build these berms. How stable and well constructed. Thanks again for that video.
