- 1986 Yamaha Radian. Bought it non-running. Spent the last several months rebuilding it. Rebuilt carbs, new sprockets/chain, paint (rattle can), electrical work. New tires. Took time, sweat, blood.. but so worth it now that it is ready to ride!
put 10k miles on a radian back in like 2004 or so. commuting to college through the hocking hills!! mine was a sharp looking machine... 1986 in blue/ gold trim. very sporty fun bike and that's coming from someone with a 929rr now
Just bought one yesterday for $800 it came with clip on handle bars i plan on making this a nice cafe racer
I owned one of these from 92-'03. Small, quick, and had plenty of power but I hated the bike compared to my other for two reasons: 1. The range absolutely sucked. I could only go about 100 miles on my 3 gallon tank, and 2. The seat was as comfortable as sitting on a brick.
the infamous yamaha tick, time for a valve check/adjustment
Where did you hear the ticking noise in this video?
The second he started the bike I heard it. ✌🏽
Tose are funn little bikes!!! 0-60 isnt bad either!!!
